when JIANG was a child he was a beauty, then the poison from his siblings made him ugly, then due to his rebirth and with the assistance of the mysterious ring the poison was cured and then he regained his childhood beauty once again, ice jewel is an artifact that increases in level as Jiang's cultivation increases and it has the ability to change Jiang's appearance but now the level the artifact is at is where it can only change Jiang's face , Jiang chose to use it to change his face to his previous ugly face because don't forget Jiang lost his memories of when he was beautiful and always though he was ugly as a result he wanted to use the skill ice jewel just acquired to change back to his previous poisoned ugly appearance because this was the look he always though was his original look and wanted to see it once again, that does not mean Jiang became ugly again. After dressing Jiang in his inner robes and covering his body over with fine silk to prevent the cold from disturbing him, Emperor Qin Jie Huang said again, "I am sorry for wronging you, I will tell you a secret Actually you are the first person this emperor have ever felt the need to say sorry to." He looked at Jiang tenderly while caressing Jiang's creased forehead with his slender fingers and then he peaked Jiang's forehead slightly, it was a very quick kiss but it carried with it his regret and determination to do better, to be better.

Emperor didn't care that the face before him was disgustingly ugly. He didn't care about the two huge bunny like teeth coming out of Jiang's mouth or the never ending drool that he constantly tried to wipe off after removing his lips from Jiang's own or about the crooked big nose, bent mouth, the none existent eyes or the pale broken skin. Those things didn't mean anything to him at this point because after hurting Jiang he realized that his heart hurt much more and that this person really meant more than he had given him credit. To him, Jiang had become his world.

His iris seem to sometimes have a bit of pink in them while other times it looked normal but never the less beautiful,

The emperor was shocked out of his wondering thoughts when he saw how Jiang's face looked disturbed and pained and it was then that he noticed blood dripping from Jiang's nostrils, eyes and ears. Jiang's was still unconscious but his face was twisted with pain.

The emperor was about to call for the doctor when he noticed Jiang's facial structure begin to change, his dull eyes that where swollen and so tiny that it was almost nonexistent suddenly became sharp, bright and clear. A tear drop mole appeared below his left eye and Jiang's eyebrows and lashes that were not present began to take form while his eyelashes became long thick.

Jiang's once bent mouth straitened as his jaw bone reformed making the continuous flowing drool stop trickling down from his mouth. His bunny like two front teeth retracted back into his mouth and his cracked lips turned pink and succulent His nose that was extremely big suddenly became pointed as his skin became smooth and pale white, almost dazzling in the emperor's eyes. The blood that was still on his face accentuated his now extraordinary face and paired up with his beautiful body and unblemished skin, he looked flawless, like a celestial being.

Once Jiang's face turned back to normal (the face that he got in his second chance at life) ice jewel appeared back on his face forming a veil as it wrapped itself around Jiang's face such that only Jiang's eyes could be seen by the emperor or anyone else for that matter.

The emperor wasn't stupid or confused as to what just happened, he instantly realized what had happened, that the 'ugly' face before was from the past and the face hidden by the ice jewel's veil was his true appearance, just like he realized that the ice jewel was an artifact just like the mask he wore to hide his aura and appearance.

He deduced that the veil covering Jiang's face could change a person's appearance but wasn't as advanced as his yet.

The emperor compared ice jewel with his silver mask which was more advanced and had made him be able to change into the appearance of Jun Tang who was a man in his twenties unlike the sixteen year old appearance he normally uses at the imperial palace, the ability of the mask to disguise him was top notch, it could even change his personally if the emperor wished for it to do so hence his completely polar opposites personality as Jun Tang and Qin Jie Huang.

After studying ice jewel the emperor understood that Jiang's ice jewel had the potential to grow and could one day completely change his appearance from head to toe, although the emperor was confident in identifying Jiang regardless of his appearance that didn't stop him from putting his mana imprint on Jiang's ice jewel, This mana imprint could be regarded as his signature tracking device, where ever Jiang was, he would know.

The emperor Qin Jie Huang berated himself because his guard had gone down since he met Jiang to the extent that he hadn't recognized the presence of an artifact right of the bat when he had first seen Jiang.

The emperor realized that he didn't care about the face behind the said artifact but as he thought about the face he had just seen his lips curled up into a smile. His conscience had come to terms with Jiang been ugly and disfigured and even kissed him but seeing Jiang's true appearance made him feel extremely please.

"My empress is truly a beauty that could cause the downfall of nations!" Jun Tang conveniently decided to forget about Jiang position as 'just an empress elect' and the consequences of his failure in any the test put before him being that he won't be able to become his empress at all. It was a rule that was put down by the ancients and even he couldn't break said rule but he truly believed that whoever he had wholeheartedly chosen couldn't disappoint him.

Emperor Qin Jie Haung's opinion of absolute and true beauty had been redefined to and comprised only of Jiang, who was exceptionally breath-taking, intoxicating and pure in both body and spirit. He became conscious of the fact that others could scorn ' for no reason but his looks. The emperor then chuckled to himself as he thought wondered if he would go down in history as the first emperor to wipe out his own people due to the citizens of Tang Qin Shang daring to disrespect 'his empress or in other words his future wifey'. This was one possible future, however slim it may be that he sincerely didn't want to happen despite his dark sense of humor.

The more the emperor looked at the veil covering Jiang's face, the more he found it pleasing to his eyes, this was the same veil he hated so much because it stood as an obstacle that prevented him from seeing Jiang's face previously "My empress, this veil suits you perfectly, you are never allowed to removed it or show your true face to anyone except before this emperor!" He fiercely whispered into Jiang's ears and surprisingly, though Jiang was still unconscious, he seemed to respond to the emperor's order. In the future Jiang will find himself vehemently protecting his true face from been exposed to others even when it became unnecessary to do so.

This reflected on the emperor's power of sound which was infused into his words that had penetrated Jiang's unconsciousness and the order had imbedded itself into his mind to such a level for he found himself believing that it was only in front of the emperor that he could show his true face. Although the emperor at that time had done such actions because he believed that only he should admire Jiang's true beauty after what he had witnessed.

The emperor took the towel that was soaked in the bowl of water he used earlier to wipe down Jiang's whole body of sweat and blood and he lifted ice jewel to thoroughly wipe his face clean. The water had been changed so he even went ahead to wash Jiang's hair because he felt that those black patches on his silver hair were an eyesore.

When he was done cleaning Jiang up the emperor suddenly had the urge to see Jiang's past for himself too further understand ''. Being the emperor, he didn't want to just view his memories but he wanted to experience Jiang's past so he placed his forehead onto Jiang's own and closed his eyes as he activated his seer elemental technique.

"A Trip To The Past" Jun Tang whispered, immediately the technique was activated a stream of words flashed before his mind's eye , he was pulled backwards and suddenly.... He saw himself as the forming embryo of Jiang in Jiang's mother's womb. He experience how the treacherous poison from Jiang's mother's body seeped into her womb and entered same embryo thereby rendering Jiang's cultivation core trash when he was finally born.

He experienced Jiang's point of view as he grew up and how both mother and child were abused and mistreated, how his siblings disfigured his face and made him lose his memory of that time due to the pain he experienced. He felt how Jang felt when he threw away the hate for his family so as to keep the promise he made to his mother to the extent that looked away the bad experiences and coped by forgetting those memories.

The emperor witnessed how General Lei made him take his precious daughter's place because he knew the emperor would punish her to get to him. He saw how Jiang's father made plans to dispose of Jiang to cover his actions. The emperor noted that Jiang's body was still a trash when he started his journey to the imperial palace but then he saw how Jiang's carriage was attacked. The emperor experienced how Jiang reminisced about his past with his mother while in the carriage when at the same time danger approached him. He recognized the intent to kill coming from the people around him and somehow knew he couldn't escape the fate of being killed so he gave himself the name he never had so as to leave the world with at least an identity "Jiang" but what broke his heart the most was the fact that amongst those people approaching him with ill intentions he recognized his elder brother's voice. Then everything went black.

Interestingly there was a part of Jiang's life that the emperor couldn't experience no matter how much he tried to.

After a while the emperor in Jiang's body saw himself in the same carriage he was previously about to be attacked in and he was experiencing unbearable pain, his whole body structure seemed to be reconstructing itself and then everything went black a second time.

(A/N :That is the time that the ring embedded itself into Jiang and gave him a new change at life while purifying his body, soul and spirit, the emperor couldn't experience this part of Jiang's life )

After a long while the emperor suddenly saw himself stepping out of the same carriage close to the area he had been ambushed before and also he noted that he wasn't a trash anymore, he even seemed to expect what was to come and planned his escape, also his appearance had a big change, this appearance the emperor was very familiar with.
