It's been a few weeks since I have been staying at Scarlett's. She really made me feel like I was worth something.

Everyday since I left my parents house, I have been getting messages from them telling me that I have to come home they will find me and I will be in big big trouble.

I hate them so much I love being with Scarlett she's my mom and not that psycho.

I was in my room when I heard a knock on my door. "Sweetie can I come in?" Scarlett asked. "Yeah" I quietly said.

She came in and smiled at me, she sat down on my bed and took my hand. "Bubs I want to talk to you about something." She said and I instantly thought of the worst.

"Do you not want me anymore?" I asked with tears in my eyes. She gasped and pulled me into her embrace. "No honey I would never get rid of you, I'm so lucky to have you in my life. I love you and I wanted to know if it's okay that I adopt you." She said.

I squeezed her tighter, "I love you mom" I whispered in her ear, she stroked my hair and rubbed my back.

"I'm gonna file a restraint order and then I will have to go to court and you will too but I will be right with you the whole time and they won't be able to hurt you. And once that's finished I can adopt you and then officially call you my daughter" she smiled and kissed my forehead.

"Okay but can I hold your hand the whole time in court because I'm scared of what my parents I mean psycho parents will do and I also have to tell you one more thing.

They have been sending me threatening messages and I'm really scared and that's why I have sometimes snuck in you room and slept with you"

She looked at me with a sorrow look, "awww Y/n/n you know you can always tell me anything and I don't mind it when I have a little snuggle bug with me" mom said kissing my cheek.

Mom and I walked into court and I saw them and immediately got scared which the judge and Scarlett noticed.

Scarlett held my hand and pulled me closer to her. We sat down on the other side and got started. "Miss Johansson you have filed an order against Y/m/n and Y/f/n. Please explain what has happened.

"When Y/n was young they forced her into acting and she got no credit or even money what so ever. She has been neglected almost all her life by them and the only time she was not was when she was being abused. She had been called horrible names what not child should ever be called. She has been hit by them and she and I took photos of the bruises to prove it. She was hit if she wasn't at home on time or if she was showing to much affection like hugging someone else. This girl has gone through so much and she can't deal with them anymore and that's why she decided to come and live with me because they are horrible and evil people who don't deserve to be here." Mom said and kissed my forehead.

"She's a lying bitch" Y/f/n said making me wince and hug Scarlett tightly.

"Y/n Y/l/n since you are over the age of 12 you are aloud to speak, gathering by what Miss Johansson has just said it's true." "Yes your honour" "Can you show me the proof please, I know this is hard on you sweetie"

I got up shaking and walked over to the judge, I showed her the photos of all the cuts and bruises. I also showed her all the messages and a video which I secretly took which was one of them hitting me and raping me because I didn't come down stairs for dinner.

"You can sit back down now" the judge said, gave me a sweet and I walked back down.

"Y/f/n and y/m/n you are guilty of Abusing a child and sexual assault. Therefore you are sentenced you to a lifetime of prison and you have to give back all the money that your daughter has earned, which is equivalent to 20M dollars."

They were both arrested and the judge came over to us. "It just so happens that we have adoption papers here, Scarlett if you wouldn't mind signing"

"Bubs you sure you want me to be your mom" she looked at me and I nodded eagerly.

"And done, your now officially mother and daughter" the judge smiled and walked off. I leaped into Scarlett's arms, "thank you so much for saving me and just being the best person ever to me" I buried my face in the crook of her neck. I wrapped my arms around her neck and she did around my my legs and bum.

"Thank you for being an amazing daughter, now you will have the best life and you will never have to worry about those idiots cuz now you've got me." She kissed my forehead and carried me into our car.

And she was right from then on my life was the complete opposite of my old one, I was loved, I had proper food, I had a mom that actually was kind to me and hugged me and I just felt so much happier.

I'm so happy that Scarlett adopted me, she is my happiness.
