《Natasha Romanoff one-shots》Scared of the dark

It was around 9am on a Saturday morning and the team was sitting in the living room. "What do you guys want for breakfast?" Tony asked.
"WAFFLES" Peter, Thor, Wanda and Bucky shouted making us grunt from the loud noise all at once.
"Waffles it is then but we someone is gonna have to go in the basement to get it because it hasn't been used in like 3 years so." Tony said.
"I'll get it" I said making them chuckle, "take Nat with you" Steve said smirking.
Nat rolled her eyes and got up, "come on then miss scaredy pants let's go get this waffle maker."
Nat and I took the lift to the basement floor. We got out and it was pretty dark in here which made me just a little frightened.
"Sure is dark in here" I said, Nat didn't say anything but I felt her just looking at me.
"I'm not scared of anything you know" I stuttered a little. "I mean, who's scared of the dark these days huh? Well not me. Nope, not at all." I said.
"Do you want me to hold your hand?" Nat asked. I blushed but thankfully she couldn't see it.
"Um yes please" I said still scared. She interwined our fingers and I could feel a smile appearing on my face and feeling a lot safer.
We rummaged around a lot until Nat found it. "Aha I got it" she proudly said holding it up in my face which accidentally hit my nose.
"Owwww Nat" I said, she immediately put it on the floor and hugged me when she saw me. "I'm sorry I didn't see you" she said. "It's okay, at least we got the waffle maker though" I giggled.
"Come on let's go,"our fingers interwined again both of us not realising that we had done it and walked out to the lift where we finally saw some light which made us squint obviously.

We finally reached the main floor and walked into the living room, "we found it" I said smiling. There was no reaction so I looked up and saw everyone staring at us or more down at us.
I looked down and saw that mine and Nat's hands were interwined. Both of us realised and pulled away quickly a blush forming in both of our faces.
"Right, thank you love birds" Tony said taking the waffle maker out of Nat's hands walking into the kitchen with it.
"awww guys they're blushing" Wanda said making the both of us go even more red. "Umm no we're not" Nat said, "I just um got hot because it's like 30 degrees in here" Nat said trying to lie but for once it actually didn't work.
"Yeah right" Steve smirked at the two, he walked over to us and turned our heads so that I was facing Nat and Nat was facing me. He pushed us together making me only inches apart from her.
I looked down at her lips and she did the same, we both leant in and soon I felt her cherry plump lips on mine.
Slowly we pulled apart and leant in again for another kiss, this time more passion. We both pulled away flustered when someone cleared their throat.
"About time you two" Tony said.
"Well thanks to Mr fat ass over here the two lovebirds just kissed" Sam said making Steve roll his eyes at the nickname.
"Did the plan work?" Morgan said running down the stairs, "what plan?" Nat and I asked.
"You know to get you two together." She said.
Nat and I glared at the team, "you should be happy that we helped you, both of you are pussys and you wouldn't have dared to say to one another that you liked them" Tony said.

Nat just grabbed my hand and pulled me into a different room. "Look I know that this was some stupid plan or whatever but the point is is that I like you" Nat said making me smile.
"I um like you too like a lot a lot" I said. Both of us leant in again until our lips locked perfectly with eachothers.
I cupped her cheeks and she grabbed my waist pulling me in more. She picked me up, me wrapping my arms around her neck and my legs around her waist.
She spun me around a little which made me giggle on her lips. "Your so cute" she whispered, I buried my face in her neck giving it a few pecks and just enjoying the moment.
She rubbed my back and we just hugged and kissed for a while before deciding to go and have some breakfast.
