《The Younger Agent - Natasha Romanoff x OC》Chapter 38 - Hey Sailor

Eleanor was about ready to throttle Natasha. Her stomach churned as she completed the first part of her fall, wanting to be literally anywhere else at this point in time. She had to remain the slightest bit thankful to her though, for the braided hair. It was keeping it out of her face nicely for this activity.
Luckily, due to it being a short descent, she had to deploy the chute quite early on, so the rest of the journey was slow and slightly more calming. Other than the fact that she was having to carefully manoeuvre so that she didn't crash land into the ocean. 110% of her attention was on carefully moving the strings attached to the chute to make sure that she lived to see another day.
A few metres before she would have landed, Rumlow appeared beside her, and they gave each other a small nod of acknowledgement as they neared the boat. There were unconscious bodies strewn all over the place, the Captain had clearly been busy.
He knocked someone out with his shield as another pirate came up behind him with a gun pointed at him, so Rumlow promptly shot the pirate with a gun equipped with a silencer to not draw attention. They landed seconds later near the Captain, "Thanks".
"Yeah. You seemed pretty helpless without me", Rumlow joked.
Eleanor shook her head as she started removing the parachute attached to her, thankful to be standing and not falling, before walking towards the other side of the ship with Rogers.
Natasha's landing was very smooth, she landed alongside Eleanor and slipped the parachute off whilst walking. Eleanor gawked at her as she did this. Her girlfriend was very cool.
"What about the nurse that lives across the hall from you? She seems kind of nice", Nat started up again.
"I dunno, going for a neighbour can be kinda risky", Eleanor smirked.
"Secure the engine room, then find me a date", Steve continued walking to his destination as Nat and Eleanor turned towards the metal barrier to reach another part of the boat.
"I'm multi-tasking!", Nat half-shouted before swinging herself over the bars and onto the deck below, Eleanor hot on her tail.
They landed on the floor quite harshly as it wasn't the smallest of drops, and continued on to reach the door that would take them onto the internal lower decks of the boat. "What do you mean don't go for neighbours? We were neighbours once", Nat faked offence and shoved Eleanor's arm to make her stumble slightly.
"Yeah, and look where that got me! Being shoved on a boat and off of a jet!", she joked whilst rubbing her arm. Nat laughed and rolled her eyes as they reached the door. She opened it and gestured for Eleanor to walk inside before her.
"Ladies first", she smirked.
"Well, what a gentleman you are", Eleanor giggled before the two went quiet now that they were entering the boat.

Eleanor slid down the ladder first, Natasha in fast pursuit. When they reached the first landing, one of the pirates was directly in front of them, but was facing away from them and using the wall phone. They were distracted, perfect.
Eleanor quietly slipped past Nat to get onto the right-hand side of the man, and he somehow didn't notice her. Nat sent a wink her way as the guy hung the phone back up, and then turned to Nat. He ended up turning in the opposite direction that Eleanor was standing, so she was still undetected. He clearly saw Natasha though, she was standing by the ladder with one hand holding onto a rung so she was quite hard to miss.
"Hey, Sailor", she spoke in a flirtatious tone whilst smirking. He was obviously confused at what was happening and taken a bit off guard by the flirting. So, Eleanor took this opportunity to kick the side of his knee, and a crunch sound was apparent, making him scream out in pain and drop to the floor, he turned to face her with even more confusion on his face, because to him, she had appeared out of thin air.
He was forced to turn back to Nat again though when she wrapped a grappling hook around his neck and kicked him backwards as she pulled out two of her guns, and backflipped over the railing behind her. The man was consequently flung into the railing, acting as an anchor for Natasha's descent.
Eleanor rushed forward next to the man and leaned forward with wide eyes as she watched Nat go down the different levels of the boat attached to the rope, shooting everyone on the way down. She ran her hand down her face with a hint of frustration now that she'd have to chase after her, "Why does she always have to do everything so dramatically!".
With gunshots still sounding in the air, Eleanor sprinted down the nearby stairs and then swung herself over the barrier to quickly get down to another level, continuing this down the different levels until reaching the second to last one.
The flooring had lots of gaps in it, so she could see Nat beneath her, releasing herself from the rope, so instead of fully jumping into the floor, she grabbed ahold of the bottom rung of the barrier with one hand before she could fall completely, and ended up hovering directly in front of Nat, making her jump slightly as she walked forward.
Nat quickly regained composure though and smirked after realising that it was just her girlfriend and not some spooky demon about to attack her. "Did you have a nice trip down here? I really enjoyed the help", her tone was purely just mocking Eleanor, so the younger woman rolled her eyes whilst still dangling in mid-air.
"Mhm, yes I did. Thank you for the abandonment, my love".

"You're very welcome, now get down", Nat grabbed Eleanor's ankle and yanked her leg down. She dropped to the floor in a crouched position and swiftly stood to resume their journey to the engine room, Natasha only half a pace behind.
They walked for thirty seconds or so, on high alert listening for anyone nearby, luckily there didn't seem to be, but this didn't mean that they could assume that there wasn't. Their movements were cat-like, they moved with haste and yet you couldn't hear them. Not even any light padding across the metal flooring. It was silent.
They eventually reached yet another railing in the direction that they needed to go, so hopped over once more as they saw a pirate who was standing below them had moved. Eleanor landed first in a simple crouched position again, one foot further back than the other one, and the pads of her fingertips touching the floor for balance.
"Natasha, El, what's your status?", they heard the hushed voice of the Captain in their earpieces but chose to ignore it as they needed to be quiet. Eleanor stood as Natasha landed beside her. her legs in more of a sideways lunge style, one hand firmly on the floor and one arm raised with her first closed. Eleanor scoffed slightly in amusement at what she thought were dramatics again and turned around to run toward their destination, the engine room was now only a few steps away.
"Natasha, Eleanor, status", his voice came through again as they were approaching one of the hijackers.
"Hang on!", Nat shouted as she jumped onto the wall and propelled herself onto the unknowing hijacker, electrocuting him on the neck with the electric gloves she liked to have in her arsenal.
When he dropped, she rolled forward and jumped up as Eleanor rushed past her to another oncoming hijacker. He went to punch her but she grabbed his wrist and twisted, then dragged him down by his newly broken wrist and kneed him in the chest, throwing him to the floor afterwards.
Natasha was also busy fighting off more of the hijackers that were attracted to the area from the noise. She had demobilised one at the same time as Eleanor and was preoccupied again when another one turned their attention to her.
Nat expertly kicked the gun from his hand, sending him stumbling slightly from the momentum, so Eleanor took the opportunity to grab his arm and yank it towards her, throwing his balance off further and exposing his midsection, so she threw a kick at his ribs, hearing a prominent snap, then pushed him away from her with the arm she still had a hold of.
As she turned around she saw Nat being grabbed from behind, but she reached behind him and took ahold of his neck and shoulders, before jumping into the air and flipping him over her, twisting herself in the air in the process to land on her back so that she could jump up and land on her feet.
The two Agents looked around briefly at the pirates on the floor around them and nodded at their success. "Engine room secure", Nat spoke into the communication device on her wrist.
Eleanor smiled and got ready to move on to their next task, but one of the pirates was getting ready to stand, so she moved forward to re-knock him out, but Natasha had already grabbed a large metal wrench and turned to hit him around the head with it, immediately sending him back to the floor.
"That's one way to do it", Eleanor gulped as Nat strutted past.
She turned around to once again wink at Eleanor before continuing her walk, so Eleanor jogged to catch up. They needed to get to the computer room quickly so that the Captain would have less of a chance of finding out about the secret mission, so now was not the time to get flustered at being winked at.
They needed to move from the more mechanical portion of the ship into the area with offices, control rooms and the like. It wouldn't take long if they continued at the pace they were going, and the majority of the hijackers had been demobilised or killed, so they didn't need to worry about any ambushes.
"So how much do you think is gonna be on there?", Eleanor made conversation as they neared the room, referencing the SHIELD information that is supposedly on this ship that isn't anywhere else.
"Hopefully not a lot", Nat sighed lightly, just like Eleanor, she didn't want to be spending too much time in that room.
Eleanor hummed in agreement, "If there's only a small amount we might be able to make the-", before she could say the words "rendezvous point" however, the two heard Rumlow on comms requesting their presence at the said rendezvous point. Eleanor shook her head and put a finger on her lips when Nat turned to look at her, and they continued walking to the computer room acting as though nothing else was happening.
The team would definitely think that they were being tardy on that mission, but there was still a chance that they wouldn't find out about them saving SHIELD intel.
When they entered the desired computer room, they saw that there was a whole row of monitors, so they briskly walked over and each accessed one next to the other.
Eleanor pulled two USB sticks out of her pocket and handed one to Nat. "Thank you", was the response she got alongside a hip bump before they both plugged them into their respective computers.

Journeys in the Fairworld: The Gatekeeper
Lindsey Fluger was only slightly past eighteen. There was nothing particularly special about her, save that she happened to be the right person at the right time. When Lindsey is asked to join an expedition to another world she makes the mistake of saying yes, plunging herself into a sea of perilous adventure and dark intrigue. Journeys in the Fairworld is a fantasy anthology series set in The Fairworld, a magical realm existing in parallel with our own world which is governed by a group elfin beings known only as “The Good Folk”. These mysterious entities work in secret to keep the peace between the myriad of peoples and nations which dwell in The Fairworld. Complex relationships and bitter rivalries emerge against a backdrop of constrained resources and conflicting values to produce a world of high adventure and tangled mysteries. This novel is technically already completed, and I am currently in the final stages of proofing or editing. As such, there may be a few typos and errors here and there. The final version should be about 130,000 words long, which I will be releasing in stages as I continue editing. I'd love to hear your feedback and comments! {INITIALIZING...} Avner woke up one day with Shin’s memories. He soon remembers that he’s one of the 4 main character routes in the cliche villain-survival story . Not knowing why the death of his girlfriend– the author– caused him to awaken in Avner’s body, he sets off to find the truth. A light novel styled story: sci-fi fantasy involving demons, angels, vampires and Gods. Oh, I even added the all too cliche truck-kun okay? And elves. I can’t forget em’ elves.
8 126Isekai trash story
You know why you clicked on a story with this title #anime is trash and so am I The main character dies of a heart attack and awakens in another world, alone and in a cave with the body of a newborn baby. However he also has increased mind based stats due to his memories, so expect a somewhat op start, but no where near all powerful for the world. There is no real plot, the main character is just trying to figure out what he can before something that already knows what it is doing manages to kill him first. I am not a writer full time and hiatuses could be short or very long depending on irl work and stuff. All content warnings are displayed because I may or may not decide to add them in later, the harem/sexual content will be much further in the story than what is there atm.
