Mother daughter pov-

This is gonna be a sad one I'm sorry but I'm currently in my sad era so y'all will just have to cope give me like 2 weeks and they will become happy again.... Anyways....

Pov- you are Ryan Reynolds and Scarletts daughter. Scarlett and him divorced when you were 5 then she had rose when you were 12 and now Cosmo when your 16.

Your pov-

I am an independent girl. I've had to have been. Mom and dad are both busy people. Mom keeps popping babies out so I've been pushed out. It's natural I'm getting older I understand. She never wanted me to be spoilt or anything so I always got the subway to school or a taxi.

I'm very close with dad as me and him get along well whereas me and mom fight all the time. She forgets I'm not her assistant and that I do have a life. Dad understands. His wife Blake is so lovely and they haven't had any children so the three of us often go on holiday and it's amazing. Dad is living in New York at the moment about 30 minutes away from mom.

Scarlett- " y/n honey can you come here"

I go downstairs.

Scarlett- " sweetie your looking tired. Maybe put some makeup on or something before going out today. Anyways Colin and I are taking Rose and Cosmo out for the weekend. So you can go to your dads or stay here I don't mind"

She's fucking forgot are you kidding me.

Scarlett- " is that ok..."

You- " yeh whatever"

Scarlett- " what's with the attitude?"

You- " sorry. I'll phone dad real quick and ask if he's around"

I look at my phone and see a message from dad saying he wants to take me out to lunch today. I love when we go out for lunch.

Time skip-

Ryan- " hey sweetie you ok?"

You- " yeh hey Blake"

Blake -" hey I was thinking after lunch me and you go shopping?"

You- " wait really"

Blake has never taken me shopping before. It's like they know about mom being an ass.

Blake- " yeh we haven't been before so let me treat you"

You- " ok thank you so much"

Ryan- " so pickle (his nickname for you) Blake and I have something to tell you"

You- " what is it?"

Ryan- " we are moving out to LA for a while as we both have a next busy few years with shooting etc"

I literally think I'm about to throw up

You- " I'll be back in a second"

I run to the bathroom and throw up. God I felt sick. Everyone is slowly leaving me.

Blake- " y/n honey are you ok?.... Y/n?"

She knocks on the door and I unlock it, all puffy eyed and shaking

Blake- " come here sweetie... I'm sorry...there is a way that you could maybe move out there with us but we didn't say anything as all your friends and your school is in New York"

You- " I just don't want you guys to leave."

She hugs me and we sit on the bathroom floor together and I dry my eyes with some toilet roll.

Blake- " I'm so sorry. You will still have mom at home with Colin and your brother and sister"

You- " half brother and sister"

Blake- " and we are not leaving until after the weekend because it's your birthday in 2 days and we have something very special planned."

You- " at least you'll be here for that.... Mom won't"

Blake- " what do you mean?"

You- " her Colin and the two little brats are going away for the weekend. She's forgotten about my birthday. She didn't even realise"

Blake- " did you tell her?"

You- " no. She's just replaced me. I was her everything until rose and Cosmo came along and now she's forgotten about me"

Blake just squeezes me tight and holds me there for a bit.

Blake's pov-

I cannot believe Scarlett forgot. She's such an organised woman and y/n's 17th birthday is quite an important thing. Y/n is nuzzled in next to me on the floor of this bathroom when I text Ryan what's happened.

Scarlett's pov-

I'm currently packing my suitcase for our little getaway weekend when I hear my phone buzzing.

Ryan- " how the fuck could you do this to y/n Scarlett"

Scarlett- " what the fuck are you on about"

Ryan- " HER FUCKING BIRTHDAY SCARLETT. ITS THIS SATURDAY AND WHERE ARE YOU AWAY WITH YOUR NEW FAMILY. YOU DIDNT EVEN INVITE Y/N. YOU KNOW ME AND BLAKE ARE MOVING AWAY AND SHE WOULD BE UPSET BUT YET AGAIN YOU HAVE CHOSEN ROSE AND COSMO OVER Y/N. I can't believe you Scarlett. I might just take her out to LA with us. "

How the fuck did I forget. Y/n's birthday I even brought her gifts a month ago. I'm an awful mother. How could I do this to her. With Ryan moving away and now me forgetting her birthday.

Scarlett: (starts to break down) "I've fucked up so bad. Please don't take her with you I'm sorry I will make it up to her."

Ryan-" I'm so mad at you right now Scarlett but I'm never going to take her away from you. I'll speak to you soon"

Your pov-

I told Blake I needed to get some air by myself and I left out the back entrance and called for a cab. I had money on me i needed a break. Get out of the city or country for a while. Italy. I know it's far but there's a small Italian village where me mom and dad used to go when I was younger and it's my favourite place. I get in the cab and head to the airport. I turn off all my location and put my phone on flight mode.

Ryan- " Blake where is y/n"

Blake- " oh she's gone out the back for some air"

Ryan- " no she didn't I just came from out back and she wasn't there. Shit."

Blake- " shit. Where is she?"

Ryan- " I have no idea"

Scarletts pov-

I was wallowing in self pity. Debating whether to call y/n or wait until she's home. Then I feel my phone buzz I have a message from Ryan.

She's gone. Her location is off and she's disappeared. Where the hell could she be.

Scarlett- " Colin!!!!! Y/n has gone missing can you look after the kids. I know where she's heading"

Despite y/n and I not being close I know where she's going. She has the money too. She heading towards Italy. I text Ryan that I'm heading to the airport and he should go back to mine and wait there. I get in my car and get to the airport.

Your pov-

I have my passport on me at all times anyway due to calls from my agent if I have a last minute photoshoot across the country so that's not an issue.

I walk up to the desk

You- " hi can I get a single flight ticket out to Naples airport please"

Receptionist- " no return today?"

You- " private jet on the way back haha"

Receptionist- " ok miss Johansson your ticket for Naples 3 o clock flight has been booked would you like to follow me into our members and vip lounge"

You- " thank you"

I'm sitting waiting for my flight I have 45 minutes until I can board. My leg is shaking and I have no baggage or anything except my handbag with a few bits in it. I can buy clothes when I'm out there. I just need a break. I put my headphones in a listen to some music trying not to cry or think about anything.

Scarletts pov-

I park at the car park and run into the airport which is attracting a lot of attention as one I'm running through the airport and two I'm Scarlett Johansson. I get up to the desk.

Scarlett- " hi my daughter who is 16 might have just paid for a ticket to Naples airport. I need to know whether or not she is on the flight"

Receptionist- " I'm sorry I cannot disclose any personal information with you"

Scarlett- " I am her mother and I made a very big mistake. One that would cause her to try and run away. She's just a kid and cannot go to Italy by herself. Please just tell me if she's getting on that flight"

Receptionist- " I'm sorry I cannot help you"

I see the members lounge door and see y/n sitting in there with her leg bouncing, headphones in with her head in her hands. My baby.

Scarlett- " Y/N..... Y/N......"

Your pov-

I hear my name being called and I look up and wipe my eyes with my sleeve and see my MOM!!!! Standing outside the members lounge shouting and waving her arms.

Scarlett- " PLEASE COME OUT SO WE CAN TALK ABOUT THIS. DONT RUN AWAY. IM SORRY. IM SO SO SORRY"

I get up and walk towards the door and look at my mom in the eye. She's crying and people are crowding round. I can already see the headlines y/n Johansson, bitch daughter!

You- " mom I need a break please just stop this"

She's so good at this victim card game. But I'm a pushover so I walk towards her and grab her hand and go to a bathroom and lock the door.

You- " will you stop fucking crying for two godamn seconds. You don't get to cry. You fucked up. Over the last 4 years you have replaced me, broken me down until I just couldn't be sad about it anymore. I don't fit into your new life with Colin, if you want me to leave just fucking say it. I'm not who you want me to be and I will not change for you."

Scarlett- " honey you do fit in to our family. You and me are part of the start of this family. I want you here to stay with me. I promise you things will change, you have always just been so grown up that I just left you to be independent I should've realised that you just wanted me back and I'm sorry. I'm an awful person and you can move with your dad because I have failed as a mother because your birthday is so important to me. You are most important to me."

You- " don't feed me lies like that mom. If I was most important to you, you.... you wouldn't have gone and replaced me with rose. She's your daughter, she was planned. How old were you. You were like 19/20 when you had me I was a mistake. Of course it's obvious you would prefer her. I stopped your career I held you back."

Scarlett- " y/n you weren't planned but the day you were born was the best day of my life. I wouldn't lie to you about that. Rose is not you, you are your own beautiful person and I love you so much. Please forgive me, just come home. Dad and Blake are at home with Colin and the kids."

You- " I cannot face them all right now."

Scarlett- " would you like to fly out to Italy just us two for the weekend. There's a flight in about 8 hours. So you can have time to pack etc"

You- " fuck it why not. But Dad and Blake. I won't get to say goodbye."

Scarlett- " on the way back we can stop off in LA and you can go see them. Unless you want to spend you birthday here."

You- " no let's go away just me and you"
