Y/n laid on the couch as her head poked up from the blanket, hair frizzy, and a drool marking on the cheek she groaned and wiped it off and proceeded to roll over

"Y/N, it has been 3 days you need to get up and shower atleast."

"I lack motivation.."

"Come on, y/n! Just because your boyfriend dumped you doesn't mean you get to mope around and be a sad sack, get up!!" Miko grabbed her legs and pulled her off the couch as she flopped onto the floor and groaned and rolled around some more

Ratchet looked over and frowned "Miko, please, don't disturb y/n. She is very moody and I don't feel like dealing with her yelling today."

"She needs a kick in the butt! She needs to get outside and get that air!"

Y/N looked up and glared with a hiss before rolling over onto her face and worming her way back to the couch and she climbed up and plopped herself there with a quiet whine

Optimus walked in and frowned at his charge before his holoform activated and walked over to them as Miko folded her arms and cocked her hip with a sigh

"Y/n, you must get up. Agent Fowler will eventually come to get you if you miss too many days of school." Optimus said

"Let em come!" She growled "cant you see I'm self-loathing because my best friend doesn't seem to care." She said eyeing miko

Miko frowned "I do care, dude that's why I'm trying to get you out of here!"

"A good friend would support my decision to mourn and mope. Now leave me alone!" She said throwing the pillow over her head and holding it.

"Go to school, Miko I will take y/n from here, there is no sense in you getting into trouble as well." Optimus said

She rolled her eyes "good luck then."

Ratchet activated the groundbridge and allowed her through so she would make it on time before closing it as Optimus walked over to y/n on the couch

"Y/n."

She laid there with a quiet groan

"Y/N I do not condone this behavior, especially coming from you.."

"I don't expect you to understand, Optimus so I appreciate the concern but rather you not.."

"I understand enough but it is still not good enough for agent Fowler."

"Yeah well he can go blow off.. I don't care what he thinks."

"Y/N You need to get up."

"I don't want to.."

Optimus stood there and stared down at the teenager and frowned "y/n, on behalf of agent Fowler let this be a warning.. if you miss too much school he will leave us no choice but to avoid contact, you will be taken into government custody. You must get up.."

She just laid there as he softly sighed "I did not wish to come to this , y/n but you leave me no choice.." he pulled the pillow away from her and pulled her to sit up as she looked up at him, her eyes were glassy, tears were running down her face as she looked at him a moment before looking away as her face darkened

"Y/N You must be stronger than this, I know you can be stronger than this."

She somewhat glared at him "yeah well, life might as well kick me again because I'm already down, let it take it's best shot."

"I'm disappointed in you, y/n.."

"you are mourning over a lost cause. He didn't care about you anyway. Miko and Rafael told me. If you hadn't noticed he doesn't have a sister, that's his real girlfriend."

"Thanks, Ratchet.." she murmured as she laid down and covered her face

"Ratchet." Optimus frowned at him

"She said to kick her while she's down I suppose it was for the best. It was supposed to encourage her to forget him not cry more."

"You've once again managed to ruin me with a single sentence. You're so supportive, Ratchet."

He frowned at the sarcastic teen

"I've been in a one sided relationship for the last 2 months." She sobbed "2 months of my life I'll never get back! Loving somebody that never loved me to begin with.." she mumbled looking away hating that they seen her so weak

Optimus sighed ever so softly.

Eventually y/n got up and used the human shower at base, putting on backup clothing but she roamed the base and found a hiding place in storage.

Optimus found her a few hours later, "y/n.."

She looked up after being tiredly slumped against an energon cube, she rubbed her eyes a bit "hey.." she mumbled

Optimus looked over the tired teen "You should take this opportunity to catch up on homework, jack brought you back some." He explained as he crouched and extended his servo

"Maybe..." she murmured and climbed on, he walked out to the mainroom and set her on the cat walk, a few papers stacked on the coffee table. She plopped on the couch and looked over the papers, sighing before scribbling down some answers, she didnt know if they were right or not but she didnt really care. She was so tired and ready for a nap, she struggled to stay awake.

Optimus took notice of his charge struggling the urge to sleep. He knew she hadnt been sleeping well, when he would return to the berthroom after a long day, she would be laying on the human bed in his room flopping around into different positions for long periods of time, he didn't get to see when she would fall asleep because he would shut down. But last night she didnt sleep at all, she had stumbled out to the couch in the middle of the night and resumed there until earlier.

He walked over and scooped up his human before walking off to the berthroom, laying her in the bed as she was snoozing away when he placing the blanket over her.

Optimus wished he had warned her.. he didnt think siblings kissed on the lips when he seen them through the kitchen window but he didnt say anything, and that was a week into their relationship. To let this go on for 2 months was outrageous and it made Prime angry at the human male for hurting her so much. If only he could teach him a lesson..

Y/n murmured softly in her sleep making Optimus glance down. He was no stranger to her sleep talking. It was mostly mumble and incoherent noises and grunts.

Optimus watched over her. He wished he told y/n he was cheating.. he wished he could make all her pain go away.

He loved y/n.. but he couldnt possibly tell her in her current state. He was in love after her and the boy started going out, he was sparked by a hint of jealousy and that's when he figured out his feelings.

"I love you.." he murmured aloud.

Y/n continued her incoherent murmuring as she turned over and slightly grabbed the blankets, pulling them closer. She made a soft grunt before managing "I... love.."

Optimus tilted his helm a bit watching her mouth move but no words were being spoken, she was vocalizing soft noises for a couple moments before finishing "you.. O...P.." the rest became incoherent and unimportant to optimus as he stared at her.

Was she simply repeating him? Or is it his imagination that added the ending OP? Or doesnt she not even mean it for real? Rather like a charge and guardian sort of relationship..

He wouldnt know. Just for now atleast.

He walked out as y/n smiled a bit "'timus..." she mumbled
