So where I left off was only the beginning of my story with the autobots and phew.. being hunted and chased by decepticons has become a part time job man oh man.. My first decepticon that wasn't a drone was Knockout then I met Breakdown at a truck ralley with Miko and jee was it messy.. Bulkhead got the scrap kicked out of him and just in the nick of time did Bumblebee and Smokescreen show up. Oh, yeah. Smokescreen... A new guy we recently met he's a little too.. Miko.

Miko. Miko ah, miko.. as unpredictable as ever. I still hate it. Other than that everyone else has really remained the same. I should really be studying for a big test I have tomorrow but honestly I've been recollecting on the past few months for the last 2 hours that I just kinda don't care anymore.

Oh, yeah, Ratchet had taken a liking to me, he said I was oddly unique and he's been doing some testing of his own on me, it has given us some quality time together and he even became my guardian. I'd rather take Ratchet over smokescreen at any time but I have 2 guardians.. not just Ratchet but whenever Wheeljack is in town he's the one responsible for me, we hunt decepticons and energon! Being with Wheeljack gets my blood pumping and he's planning on coming back tomorrow so after school I'm going straight to base!

Y/N sighed as she placed the notebook down and laid in bed with a content sigh. We're gonna cause mass choas. she smirked at the thought and chuckled

The next day came as she walked out of her 3rd period and whined at the test she got back

"Whatd you get?" Jack asked as they left

"B-"

"Huh.. I thought it was pretty easy, easy A easy."

"Would you stop saying easy??" She whined as she looked at Jack and frowned

"Sorry, y/n." He smiled softly and rubbed his neck

She rolled her eyes at him "well what'd you get?"

"I got an A."

She glared but walked away to history.

When the day was over she ran out to see Bumblebee and Raf. Jack had to work and Miko had detention she smiled a little before walking over as he climbed in and y/n climbed into the driver seat even though she wasn't driving she liked sitting driver side and Bumblebee didn't really care, she almost bounced before she remembered they were inside Bumblebee and just grinned

The radio buzzed and chirped

"Bee asked why you're bouncing and why you seem so excited."

"Oh jeez, sorry Bee I thought I was actually controlling the excitement and today is the day Wheeljack is coming back!" Y/N blushed a little

He whirred once more as Raf chuckled but clamped his hands over his mouth

"What? What'd he say?" Y/n glanced at the steering wheel

"Nothing.."

"Really? I don't think I have to remind you that I'll eventually find out when you think of it?"

He sighed "Bee said.. that you seem really excitable when Wheeljack comes to town, maybe something is going on between you two..?"

Her eyes somewhat widen but her face darkened "Do I really get that excited? I mean we have a blast, we go on awesome adventures... I don't see why I don't have the right to be without you guys suspecting something is up." She somewhat slumped in the seat and folded her arms

"Sorry, y/n You two just spend a lot of time together when he's around."

"I also spend a lot of time with Ratchet but you don't say anything about that now do you?"

"Ratchet says it's strictly medical research."

"I'll 'strictly Medical research' his aft when we get to the base." She grumbled

Bumblebee shook and vibrated, assuming he was laughing as a colorful variety of whirrs spilled from the radio

Raf sheepishly grinned but y/n didn't ask

When they arrived y/n jumped out and ran over to Ratchet "is he here? Is he here??"

"Wheeljack? No." Ratchet shook his helm "but you know the drill, medbay first."

She softly growled but walked over and sat in the medbay as he walked over and activated his holoform and began to hook her up to a machine

"Hey, what exactly are you researching anyway?" Raf asked

"I've come to a theory.. y/n can read minds, no?"

"Well yeah but-"

"In theory she could send her thoughts into someone else's mind.. I'm seeing exactly how her brain works."

"It could take years" they said in unison before ratchet glanced at her and nodded "yes well.. progress is progress."

"How much have you got?" He asked

"It has been a few months and i've only scratched the surface of the process." Ratchet explained

2 hours went by as Y/N slumped in the seat before she jerked up when she heard a ship land and almost ripped off the wires attached before Ratchet halted her and unhooked everything and he plucked her from the seat as he deactivated his holoform and walked over to the platform as it whirred

Wheeljack jumped down and smirked "Hey, sunshine.. doc." He looked at Ratchet only to see him scowl

He went to reach for y/n as Ratchet pulled back and cupped his servo "ah ah ah. You must promise her safety and..."

Y/N looked over at Wheeljack, ignoring Ratchet as his optics dimmed before glancing at her

Blah blah blah am I right? He smirked a little

She smiled a little before looking at Ratchet

"I mean it, Wheeljack! She's more of my responsibility than yours So help me primus if you-"

"Yeah, yeah yeah. I know, I promise she's in good servos." He said before swiping y/n from him

Ratchet growled at him for the action but nodded before looking at her

Be safe, I mean it.

"Don't worry 'doc bot' we'll be fine, I swear!" She smiled

He frowned but nodded

"Alright let's get you outta here, being cooped up with Ratchet must be driving you mad." Wheeljack smirked before climbing up on the platform and going up

The two took off in the jackhammer and went up to the Canadian mountains a few hours away given how fast the ship was.

They sat there on the mountain as she sighed contently as she laid on the dashboard staring at the stars that came out over time as Wheeljack sat in the seat contently

"Doesn't it get kinda lonely when you're out by yourself?"

He shrugged softly "nah, I just think about everyone at base like you, Miko, Bulk.." he said as his optics dimmed "it reminds me I still got someone out there." He said as he adjusted the seat and laid back

She sat up and looked up at him "yeah?"

"Yeah.."

She smiled a little before she glanced away and laid there before frowning, the question bugged her

"Wheeljack?" He lazily hummed in reply "What am I to you?"

"You're my charge. Just like I'm your guardian.."

"Nothing more, right?"

His optic ridge cocked up a moment "Uh friendwise? We're friends.. unless you meant more intimately?"

She smiled a little "nah, friends sounds about right.. I'm not on board of being 'charge'"

His optics casted to the side Huh... human earth femmes are just as confusing as cybertronian femmes.

She glanced over "It kinda sounds like if you were a babysitter."

"I'm not your 'babysitter', we're Guardian and charge. Completely different, I'm not here to tell you what to do, y/n.. I'm here to make sure you're safe, treat you as an equal. Not like I'm above you.. metaphorically..." he smirked "because I am above you in height.."

She softly chuckled "even though you are much more advanced than I am.."

He shrugged "I don't care about that, y/n, you're my human charge."

My human

She glanced over at him and smirked "your human, huh?"

He rolled his optics "you know what I mean. You're my human, I'm your cybertronian guardian as of now, later it'll be Ratchet."

"Noo I heard you." She teased

"So what? You are my human. I have to protect you."

Frag, this femme is catching on if only i- no. No.

She looked up at him and frowned "are you ok, wheeljack? You're turning blue."

He glanced away "Yeah, m fine, my systems are fragged.." he said as his cooling fans kicked on

Does he like me? Y/N cocked her head at him

"I'm calling your bluff."

His optic ridge raised "nothing slips past you does it?"

Smartie human he mocked as he rolled his optics but his face plates remained blue

She's gonna catch on soon.. I just hope she doesn't realize it

She smirked a little "so just out of curiosity how close would you consider me? More than Miko?"

He frowned as he glanced away

well... I do hangout with y/n more and we do have a better bond..

"I guess it'd be you, why? You're not gonna ask me something dark are you?" He frowned

She smirked "Oh no, no, no, nothing like that.. more like how much you like me? You like me more than Miko or just-"

"Why are you comparing yourself to Miko?" He frowned and looked at her

"Uh- well I'm not, I'm asking in general like out of everyone else.."

He didn't lighten "you shouldn't be comparing yourself with anyone else, why do you care some much of what I think? As long as you're happy you shouldn't care."

He dimmed his optics and laid back

She sighed at him and flopped backwards

Ah, slag that was close.. jeez, what's her deal with miko? I know she doesn't like her but why compare? I guess all femmes are the same no matter the species..

She glanced up at him

They laid there for awhile as Y/n's mind raced to find answers but Wheeljack was silent, he wasn't thinking of anything. Until she looked up to see he was in recharge and seen his dream her face turned red when she seen how close they were in his dream as he wiped off something from her face, "Why are you so dirty?" He grumbled

She just grinned as he sighed "guess I can't stay mad at a cute face like that.."

"You know you love me!" She smirked

He glanced away and frowned

-reality- Wheeljack's body shifted in the seat.

Her eyes widen as she climbed over and jumped down on him before climbing up to his chassis and looking up at him to get a closer look in the dream

-In dream - He folded his arms and muttered to himself "So what if I did?"

Y/n paused as her grin went away and frowned at him "wait, seriously?"

"Uh- maybe?"

Her face darkened as she glared at him "Wheeljack we're just friends! How could you say that?! I don't want anymore to do with you!" She growled

"Y/N, wait!" He ran after her but she just drifted away

-reality-

"Oh, wheeljack..." y/n frowned at him as her hand reached over and caressed his face plates as they somewhat scrunched. He growled softly but still as y/n looked at him "the fear of rejection, huh? I know your weakness now.. and you're not alone.." she said and sat there caressing his face before just laying on his chassis

She laid there for a good 10 minutes before he woke up as she smiled up at him

"Hey, Jackie, morning sleepy head."

"It's morning?"

"No, it's just something we say, just.. nevermind. You did take good half an hour nap though.. I never thought I could learn your weaknesses through a dream and I'm amused.."

His optics somewhat brightened "ah, slag I forgot you can read minds.. it wasn't about that fight with breakdown was it?"

"Fight? No.. but it was very interesting. You mean don't remember it?"

"No, I don't remember recharges especially ones so short. What was it?"

"Lets just say I was in it."

"You were taken by decepitcons?"

"Mmm no, not quite."

"Frag femme just tell me, what was it??" He frowned a little

She smirked and folded her arms as he laid there confused

"I didn't realize you had the hots for lil ol' me, a human.." she smirked a little

His face plates turned a dark blue again as he frowned

"I love when you do that.. I've been around the autobots long enough to know that isn't your systems glitching either." She chuckled

"What was it about?"

"In summary, your fear of rejection.. I only liked you as a friend and you lost it. And honestly my fear isn't that much different than yours."

"Oh yeah, what's yours? Can't be as bad as mine.."

"Trusting someone and then entrusting them with information no one else knows before betraying me, you could say abandonment issues ." She frowned "even I wouldn't be as cruel as dream me.."

"So, you know it all huh?"

"No, I just know you like me, not to what extent.."

He sighed as he sat up and held her against his chassis to keep from falling and allowed her on his shoulder

"A feeling I haven't had in a long time.. a very intimate one.. wait so this whole time you heard my thoughts?"

"Yeah. And you were right I was starting to catch on."

He glanced away "You only know the half of it.."

"I know you got really angry when I compared myself to Miko. Not just by your thoughts but how you tensed up.."

He growled "y/n, you are perfectly fine just how you are, you don't need to compare yourself to Miko, you're complete opposites, I like the fun and all, that's what I have Miko for but then there's you, fun and relaxation, it was times like earlier when we just hangout and talk for hours.. that's the partner I was looking for. Miko is nothing compared to you, you got it all, you got the nice bod, the cool head on, but a spunky personality.."

Her face darkened as she sat there and glanced at his head fins before finding her hand slowly stroking the one side she was on.

His optics dimmed before offlining

"Heh, you like this? I thought they were super sensitive.." y/n looked up at his head fin

"They are.. but I guess only you got the touch. It's very.. soothing."

She smiled a little and continued to stroke his head fins "so.. what does this mean now? What are we?"

"I think we could work out some arrangement.. we could make this relationship work." He smirked a little

She smiled and gently pecked his head fin "That sounds great.."

"What did you do just now?"

"Kissed your fin."

He purred to that but hummed "it felt tingly."

I guess there's other ways to please a giant robot.. Y/n smirked but leaned over infront of him and gently pecked his lip plates as he chuckled softly at the attempted affection.

She pressed her forehead into the side of his helm I love you, Wheeljack

"I love you too, Y/n.." he said aloud

She blinked "what?"

"You said 'I love you Wheeljack' so I said it back.." he said and he plucked her from his shoulder and brought her up to his face

She eyes somewhat widen before she smiled a little "whoa, I guess I can send my thoughts into others heads.. AWESOME!!" She fisted the air

He looked at her and smirked "heh, let's just keep that between us, huh? Then you can freak out ratchet whenever you want to when you get the hang of it, he might just blow a circuit when he hears you but doesn't see your lips move.." he chuckled

She grinned devilishly and that's why I love you, such a devil..

he cocked up an optic ridge "am I now? A good one or a bad one?"

"A good one.." she felt him pull her closer as his lip plates gently pressed into her cheek and some of her lip, she blushed and giggled "this will take some getting used to.."

"You know.. doc isn't the only one that has that fancy mobile holoform..." his said gently brushing his digit on her stomach as he smirked "it doesn't always gotta be like this."

Her eyes widen as she grinned "That is wicked.."

"Wanna see it?"

"Uh, duh!"

He smirked as he set her down on the dash and watched as he sat back and summoned his holoform. He appeared infront of her, his silver hair all ruffled, his silver lined clothing, the long scar on his face just like on his bot form, those glowing blue eyes as they looked over her as he swiftly turned doing a spin "well?"

She grinned and embraced him "this is great! Why didn't you tell me sooner??"

"Well I didn't really have a use for it."

She pulled away and looked at him and smirked "do you realize what this means??"

"Uh... no.."

"We can actually go out and do stuff! You know, like normal couples.."

"I think we've already established the fact we're not a normal pair.."

She chuckled "I guess you're right.."

His arm wrapped around her and pulled her close before kissing her cheek as she nuzzled into his chest and contently sighed "You know, this is gonna be hard to hide.. Rafael and Bumblebee were already suspicious something was going on when there wasn't."

"So? Who says it's their place to judge? I'll tell em myself if they say something.."

She smiled and chuckled "Oh jeez, I don't think ratchet will like the news.."

"Let em fritz.. I got you now, that's all I care about."

[Bonus]

"You're what?!"

Ratchet's bellow could be heard by Megatron himself

Wheeljack rolled his optics "You heard her and now you gotta let me come around more often.." his glossa stuck out at Ratchet childishly as y/n laughed

"Are you two sure...?" Arcee said doubtfully

"Oh yeah.." she looked up at Wheeljack and smirked as he looked down and looked at her contently

"Well congrats then!" Smokescreen said

"I refuse to approve of this!" Agent Fowler bellowed over the computer

They all looked over as Wheeljack shrugged "Well you just gotta deal with it, tiny, because I'm willing to go to ends of the earth to find her if you try to take her away."

Y/n blushed as she looked at the screen "he means well.."

"I don't care, you stay away from my daughter or I'll-!"

Wheeljack pressed a button and took him off screen "whoops.." he smirked

Her eyes widen but she chuckled "seems pretty ballsy of you to cut a call with him.. you ready for him to come after you?"

"Hey, if I didn't have the bearings I wouldn't of did it in the first place.. I dare to challenge authority, especially his, isn't it human custom for human femmes and young mechs to come together even for forbidden love?"

She smirked "You have a point.. a very fair one."

"I suggest you start running while you can, Fowler has an entire army on his side and it he says you're a threat they'll believe it, they'll hunt you down." Ratchet grunted

"I don't think he has the bearings to gun me down, all because of y/n.." he said holding her to his chassis as he plucked her from the catwalk before placing her on his shoulder

She hugged the side of his face "I'll be ready to fight him on that.. you're not going anywhere."
