(y/n) walked into the classroom a few minutes early as the teacher looked up from a few papers at his desk "Evening, (y/n)."
"Evening, Mr Parker.." She murmured as she walked by and sat at her seat, taking out her notebook and sat there sketching away as students slowly filed into the room as the bell rang, she glanced up at the table of teenagers. Mostly freshmen, a table of 3 annoying guys, her and another girl but she was popular and the same grade, it was Sierra, the cheer captain.
She looked up as the teacher stood there "Alright, Class" he said loudly, quieting most of the people down "Today we will be taking notes, we're going into a new unit so make sure to bring your notebooks everyday."
(Y/n) sat there and scribbled down the notes he had on the board as a young male walked in, his flaring red hair, the red shirt with a bolt on the front, he walked over to the teacher as the class silently watched him.
"Ah, take a seat right over there by (y/n) and I'll be back to help you later. We're beginning a new unit."
The boy nodded and walked over, sitting down next to (y/n) as she glanced at him but her brows furrowed a little to see his bright red eyes. She stared at the red pigment as he was looking away, not paying much attention. But then they gently transitioned over to her as she met eye contact but immediately looked down at her notebook, writing the notes. The class went on as (y/n) was so busy with the notes she didn't realize the new kid snatched her sketch pad until he started to muse about something, slightly interested she looked over but blinked as to how he got it away from her as he looked at her full body drawings, "your designs are very detailed.. Elegant." He murmured as she stared at him, he looked over and smirked a little "I like it.."
Her cheeks darkened but as he went to flip the page she snatched it from his finger tips as he looked over and softly chuckled "What?.. Something you don't want me to see?" He asked, quirking a brow

He almost seemed to be flirting but (y/n) silently stared at him before sliding it into her lap, leaning into her abdomen and arm protectively wrapped around it as he looked at her, a little interested as she continued to scribble down the notes.
~~Week later~~
Knockout had figured (y/n) out, he sat there and watched her draw more people while the teacher lectured on about the rays of light and reflections. He reached over and gently brushed his fingertips over the piece of paper and watched as she paused mid sketch and looked at his fingertips as her eyes traced up his arm
He smirked as he successfully caught her attention as he slightly leaned in with interest "you're not like the others are you, doll?"
She looked him blankly as he reached over to grab her sketch book but she immediately grabbed it, holding it in place as she looked at him so he let it go "You're all about detail.. You really don't need this class. You're an amazing artist." He mused
She glanced down at her sketch and frowned a little. "I could always use practice." She murmured
He grinned that he got her to speak to him but her cheeks dusted with blush
"You're very creative. You don't need improvement, keep up the good work, doll." He smirked to see her blush some more.
~few days later~
Knockout sat there and stared at (y/n) from across the room as some of the other students talked to him with some time at the end of class to chill, he mostly tuned them out.
"What are you staring at?" One of the boys asked, glancing back to see (y/n) sitting at the table alone as she drew away in her sketch pad.
"(Y/n).. He's taken a 'liking' to her." One of the freshmen said
"Dude, you're playing with something you shouldn't." Said another
"She's a total freak, Knockout. A creep even." A girl said
"Just because she doesn't speak means she's a creep or weirdo." Knockout said looking at them
"She can be really nice but.. The whole mute thing is a little awkward sometimes." Sierra said
"Have you even seen some of her drawings?? They're so messed up! It's like something out of a nightmare, she's a complete freak!"

Knockout watched as she had stopped her drawing, gripping the pencil, her face covered by her (h/c) hair that hung down
"She draws people when they aren't paying attention, shes even got drawings of you, dude. She's got a screw loose, she's crazy."
Knockout frowned at him, but looked back at (y/n) as her hand holding the pencil shook, with white knuckles, she tensed as the pencil snapped. Given the small room she probably heard them as she dropped the broken pencil on the table and stood up with her notebooks and sketch pad as she got up and walked to the door, dropping everything in her current possession into the trash as she shoved the door open which it whipped back with a slam because the air circulating the door as everyone jumped and gasped in surprise at the loud noise. Knockout stood up and walked over as he glanced down in the trash and collected her notebooks and sketch pad before walking out as he seen her far down the hall "Wait, (y/n)!" He called as she glanced back but started to sprint as he ran down the hall, he knew exactly where it led to and took a short cut as he walked down the hall, out of curiousity he flipped through the sketch pad, in the pages he didn't get to see were monsters, really cool ones at that with different color schemes and each body part specifically sketched out. She was pure genius and full of creativity. Then he flipped farther past some scarier monsters to see the sketches of people they were talking about, all colored and detailed. He paused when he found his, it was a drawing from a few days ago when he reached over and touched the papers to get her attention and it worked. He realized that she wasn't being odd, she simply loved drawing and drew things she's analyzed. When she her eyes traced his arm, she was scanning the details to his skin and muscle. Then he had his signature smirk on his face. Knockout stopped walking and stared at it, it was like looking in a mirror.. Sort of.
He looked up and closed it and quickly walked down the hall to see (y/n) standing there in the gym, her chest puffing out and going back in, obviously she had been running "(y/n)."
She looked back and frowned, fresh hot tears ran down her cheeks "Go away! You shouldn't even be around me, why did you follow me?"
"You dropped these.." He said walking towards her as she looked at them and frowned
"I don't want them.." She said looking away
"Yes you do." He said setting them down and grabbing her arm as she looked at him
"Just.. Leave me alone. Go back to class and be with your friends." She muttered as a few more hot tears ran down her face
"Now why would I want to go back to them after they made you cry?" He asked reaching up and cupping her cheek, wiping a few tears of her cheeks "You shouldn't listen to them.. What you do is art. It's part of you. You can't just trash it all away."
"I just did!" She hissed painfully
He frowned "Well I'm not gonna let you.. I've never met anyone as beautiful and smart as you."
Her face darkened as she looked at him and frowned "Stop.. You're lying." She muttered
"Why would I lie to your pretty little face..?" He said, his thumb started gently brushing her cheek as he thumbed off some wet spots and leaned closer
Her face turned red as she glanced away but he grasped her chin and made her look at him "I could of been your model if you wanted, all you had to do was ask." He smirked a little "as long as you do me a tiny favor..."
"...What?" She murmured
He stared at her as his thumb gently stroked her cheek "Don't ever stop being this adorable..." His eyes trailed her face but they stopped at her lips. Untouched. He leaned down and kissed her lips gently for a few moments before pulling away to see a lone tear run down her face.
She stared up at his red eyes as he looked at her (e/c) eyes.
"Okay." She murmured as she looked away
"Okay?" He smiled a little
She cracked a smile "Okay."
