《Transformers one-shots》Ironhidexreader ~ The Calm before the storm
Advertisement
A storm rolled in early Saturday morning as (Y/n) looked outside to see it calming, lightly raining and got ready before heading out. Trotting away from her home, she smiled a little. She broke into a sprint as she headed to the park but as she neared she slowed down and started casually walking. Not a single soul was in sight as she smiled and inhaled deeply before exhaling softly, she slightly extended her arms and looked up as it continued to lightly rain. She loved storms and rain. Though many think differently and stay inside most of the time. She was quite the opposite. At times like this, she was one with nature.
She lightly laughed to herself as she pivoted her step but froze and lowered her arms as a sense of someone watching her was near but as she looked around, all she seen were parked vehicles on the side of the street, 2 in particular stood out, a black and yellow camaro. Sam's camaro to be exact. But then a black GMC that she had never seen before. She wasn't sure why that one stood out but shrugged it off as she looked up once more and sighed, ridding her of the sensation as she she sighed again, but contently.
"I've be waiting for this for awhile.." She murmured to herself as she opened her eyes looking up, watching the rain pour down as some pelted her face.
She stepped back before bolting off through the park, jumping in the water puddles in the ground. She didn't notice but as she went to jump in a puddle she fell farther than expected as the rain had filled up a hole in the ground making it super muddy as she fell when she went to leap forward only to face plant the ground and groaned as she pushed herself up and moved back, kneeling down on her other leg as it had sunk pretty far she tried pulling herself free but it came to no avail as she just sat there, softly sighing
"Great.." She murmured, after a few minutes she tried again only to get a painful reaction as something was wrong with her ankle. She could have twisted it during the fall. She softly yelped and sat back as she smacked her hand on the ground with a groan of frustration
"It never fails.. Something always goes wrong." She murmured
"Need some help?" A deep rough voice asked
She looked over to see a tall man with tan skin, black hair and blue eyes, around his late 20's or early 30's and wore a black tee with a black jacket and had black pants and boots. He looked fit just by the way his body was built.
"Uhm, y-yeah, my uh, foots stuck. I think the mud is trying to suck off my shoe." She said
He slightly nodded before taking off his jacket and placing it over her shoulders "Here, kid, you're gonna catch a cold." He said before crouching down "Hold onto me."

She blinked a moment before obeying, grabbing onto the stranger while also clinging to his jacket to keep it on her shoulders as he reached down, a hand firmly holding her calve as the other reached down into the water that was sucking off her shoe, she felt him grasp her heel before pulling it out, she bit her lip to hold a cry of pain.
He finally got it out as she let go after he released her and started to place her leg down to place weight on it as she softly yelped in pain, immediately lifting it up as he looked at her
"Whats wrong?"
"My ankle." She said painfully balancing on her one foot
He frowned a little "You probably sprained it, don't put any weight on it." He said slinging an arm under hers to support her but slightly leaned down, scooping up her legs as her face heated uncomfortablely. He started walking out of the park as she didn't question it but kept an eye on him. He was a pretty buff man..
He walked over towards the GMC and opened the passenger door gently placing her in the seat before closing the door and walking around the front of the truck. She bit the inside of her cheek, she was helpless, she couldn't run. Would he kidnap her?
He jumped in before closing the door behind him but reached in the back seat, grabbing a rag as he wiped off his hands before setting it off to the side "Take off your shoe."
She did so but while removing it she asked "why are you helping me?"
"It's my job." He said reaching over, gently grasping her leg and looking over the wound as he silently nodded
"What, are you some sort of Doctor?" She asked curiously
"No, but I've had medical training. It's only sprained. I can patch it up but I don't have all the supplies, where do you live?" He asked placing her leg back and started the engine as it roared before purring
"Just a few blocks away." She said
"Alright, you point and I'll steer." He said throwing the gears into drive before pulling away from the curb, easing off down the street
"So what do you do exactly?" She asked after they passed a block
"I'm a weapon specialist, military." He shrugged in a lenient fashion before looking over "I'm Ironhide, by the way."
"(Y/n)." She said before pointing at a house as he eased up pulled over and parked the truck and looked back at her a moment
"(Y/n).." He repeated almost letting it roll off his tongue "Pretty name" he said before jumping out and closing the door behind him and coming around to get her as he bridal style carried her into the house and setting her on the couch before scrounging up materials from her home.
She sat there watching him go through the tools, placing out a wrap and cloth as he got the cloth a little wet as he gently cleaned some mud away from her ankle before starting to wrap it up tightly. She slightly winced but got over it after he finished. He was still wet, he looked like sweat was barreling down his body after working out when it was really just rain drops.

"You can um, dry off if you want, there's some clean towels in the cabinet over there." She said
"Thanks." He said before walking off, coming back with it around his neck, he sat down and pulled it over his hair, slightly 'scrubbing' his head, in the process, ruffling his hair as he let rest back around his shoulders as (y/n) slightly covered the smile on her face, she couldn't help but laugh as he looked over at her with a confused look, glancing behind him to see if there was something else that could have triggered a reaction like that "What?" He asked
She toned down and chuckled "just you."
"What- what did I do?" He slightly blinked
"Your hair just- poof." She smiled a little
"Oh." He said before running his fingers through his hair, combing it back. "Better?" He smirked a little in a friendly manner
He looked cuter with his Ruffled hair but she wasn't going to admit it as she nodded.
He glanced around a few moments, admiring the room "So do you live here alone?"
"Seems that way a lot but no, I have my parents and younger sister."
"Where do they go?" He asked
"Out of town a lot.. They travel without me but I've gotten used to it. I like having the house to myself. I can have whoever come over whenever I want but it's mostly just me." She said a little sadly, messing with the fabric of the couch
"...I could keep you company." He said looking over at her
She smiled a little "that would be nice, but I don't wanna keep you from your work or family."
"I don't have family and I work on-call most of the time." He shrugged
She smiled and nodded "Alright, then."
~~~~~
After learning Ironhide had no wife or girlfriend (y/n) wanted to make a move. It had been over a month that he came over and they talked, hung around most of the time.
The two sat there on the couch one night watching a movie as (y/n) had snuggled up to Ironhide, he wrapped a secure arm around her as she looked up at him, her cheeks heated a little as his focus was on the movie as he had pulled her closer. She blushed at how close she was to him, his lips were so close... If only she had enough nerve to tell him. But it seemed she wouldn't have to as Ironhidee softly sighed, shifting her into his lap as she blinked, he looked down at her
"I see the way you stare at me, you make it very clear of what you want and now I can't help myself but just think about you all day, (y/n), you're so beautiful." He said bluntly staring her straight in her eyes as she stared back seeing the odd twinkle in his eyes as he leaned down and gently pressed their lips together in a gentle kiss.
He pulled away as she stared at him
"I've also seen you check out my package.." He raised an eyebrow
'Package'? She blinked before her cheeks turned a dark red, he looked over her with a smirk to see she figured it out as she looked away
"Your curiousity isn't unnatural" He said as he softly chuckled at her reaction
Her cheeks darkened as she shoved her face into his chest to hide her embarrassment
"But.. I would be willing to make love to you all night if I knew you were ready for it." He said in a more serious tone
"I wanna try." She murmured glancing away
"Then I'll give you a 30 second head start to get to that bedroom..." He murmured teasingly into her ear
She looked up at him, blush staining her cheeks, she realized just what type of romantic guy he was.. He liked to play games. He smirked down at her "tick-tock.." He cocked an eyebrow
She got up but darted up to her room, she heard him chuckle when she got to the top of the stairs, it was a playful one but it sent a chill up her back.
As she got to her room she had no idea how this was supposed to go, does she just sit and wait? Maybe do a pose on the bed? Be sexy somehow? She froze when she heard the stairs creek, he was coming up.
she shoved her bookbag off the bed as her binder fell out and papers slid on the floor
"Damn.." She muttered and scrambled to pick it up only to feel something come up behind her and arms around her waist
"Oh how easy you make it... Very tempting." He purred in her ear
His seductive voice sent a chill up her spine as he picked her up, she softly squeaked as he sat back on her bed
"There are so many things I could do to you.." He murmured letting his warm breath gently graze down her neck making her hold her breath. His finger tips slowly slid under her shirt, She started melting into his touch
"You've teased me in many ways I doubt you understand.. But now I'll get to tease you.." He said shifting her in her lap, he slowly moved his hips, letting his groin grind against her rear as he heard her inhale sharply
"You want it don't you..." He murmured as she grabbed onto his pants, gripping them tightly
He listened as she softly whimpered, he knew she was about to crack so bucked up, grinding harder
"Tell me." He said
"Yes! I do!" She cried
He smirked "there it is.. The calm before the storm."
Bone And Amber: The Inside Story On The Return Of The Dinosaurs
A miracle has been achieved: non-avian, Mesozoic dinosaurs have been brought back to life - not by a technical university or a government programme, but by a venture capitalist concern, for reasons of profit. The social, economic, and political ripples of this development will do much more than enable the simple launch of a theme park for the rich: they will change the world. FAQ: Do I need to know anything about the Jurassic Park franchise to enjoy this? No. This story is not exactly a Jurassic Park fanfic - it is a story about the de-extinction of Mesozoic dinosaurs. While the story begins with some of the events depicted in the Jurassic Park universe, it is very much its own creature, and designed for readers with no prior knowledge of the franchise. It will begin to diverge quite quickly, as well: the dramatic focus will not be on people running around tropical islands trying to be eaten. The whole point of the exercise is to explore the profound consequences and ripples an event like the mass-cloning of extinct animals would generate.Do I need to know anything about dinosaurs to enjoy this? Also no! Sensing a theme yet? Although, if I’ve done my homework correctly, a newbie to the subject will be able to pick up something - not just about the animals themselves, but about their role as a vehicle to better understand the history of life on Earth, and the application of the scientific method to a sadly fragmentary puzzle.Without further ado, please enjoy!
A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!
