Y/N's POV

We got back to the compound a little while later and most of the others where still training. Me and Nat decided to go up to my room and watch a movie. We were halfway through Pocahontus when Wanda knocked on our door.

"Come in." I called out as I lay in Nat's arms. Wanda walked in and smiled at the two of us, cuddled up together.

"Not a word." Nat said half seriously.

"Of course not." Wanda grinned. "I was actually going to ask if we could help each other get ready for tonight?"

"Yeah sounds good. Babe?" I asked.

"Fine by me." She smiled back. 

We spent the next 2 hours organising outfits for each other. Once we had chosen the outfits we hid them away, so that we wouldn't see them until the party. Wanda grabbed a box of face masks and grinned at me, knowing Nat wouldn't do it unless I did. I grabbed one off the top and Nat followed suit after Wanda.

We lay in my room with our face masks on, chatting and laughing as we waited to take them off. Wanda was telling us about a prank Pietro had played on her when they were younger in Sokovia. As we laughed my timer went off and we peeled the face masks off. Next we put on some music and started to braid and style each others hair. It took a lot longer than it should have done because we were so distracted by the songs.

"Oh I just can't wait to be king!!!!!" I sang dancing on the bed.

"Oh I just can't wait to be king!!!" Wanda joined me.

"Oh I just can't wait to be kiiiing!"Nat finished, outshining us with her voice.

Me and Wanda looked at her in shock. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as we sat back down on the bed.

"Since when could you sing like that?" I asked.

"Since always I guess, why?" Nat replied.

"Why didn't you tell us? The amount of times we have needed a soprano for the high parts in our mini concerts, you would have been perfect!" Wanda exclaimed.

"Mini concerts?" Nat asked skeptically.

"Yeah sometimes if one of us is sad or everyone is away on a mission, me, Wanda and sometimes Peter sing along to Disney songs just for fun." I explained.

"Right." Nat said shaking her head at us. "You really are little kids." She laughed.

"Hey!" Me and Wanda said at the same time. "We are not little kids we jut know how to have fun."

"Sure, whatever makes you feel better." Nat smiled. We laughed and moved on to makeup, styling each other how we wanted. As Wanda was doing my nails I got a text on my phone. Nat looked at it and told me it was Maria. 

"What did she say?" I asked.

"She said. "Hey Y/n, I'm sorry but I cant make it tonight. Something came up but perhaps another time? xoxo, love you lots."

"Oh okay, uh can you reply and just say something like, 'Yeah that's fine, hope you are okay and if you are free you can come round later in the week? x'" I asked Nat.

"Yep no problem babe." She said as she typed the message into my phone and sent it. 

"Thanks." I said as I turned my attention back to my nails.

Once we were done we went into our own rooms and grabbed the outfits the others had picked for us.

Y/N's POV

I headed over to the bar, where I saw my two favourite red heads ordering drinks.

"I'll get the same as her." I said pointing at my girlfriend. "Put it on his tab." I pointed at Tony.

"Hey, you look amazing." Nat said as she kissed me.

"As do you, you are stunning." I replied. "You too Wanda, I mean wow." I smiled at her.

"You both look good and thank you y/n." Wanda grinned.

"Ladies, glad you could make it." Tony greeted us as he walked over.

"Hey Stank, how are you?" I asked, using his nickname that he hated.

"Good, but stop using that name please. There is somebody I want you to meet." He said walking us three over to where the other Avengers were seated. Wanda and Nat sat down on the sofa and as I was about to join them a little girl run up to me and hugged my leg tightly.

"Hello?" I said softly.

The girl said nothing but smiled shyly up at me. I looked at the others questioningly.

"This is my daughter, Morgan." Tony told us.

"Hey Morgan, how are you?" I asked her.

She just nodded before running over to Pepper who lifted her up and sat her in her lap.

"She likes you." Pepper said smiling. "She doesn't usually hug anybody."

I smiled and sat down next to Nat, waving at the little girl. She waved back and giggled at me.

Everyone else ooh'ed and ahh'd over us and I laughed at them.

After a few rounds of drinks everyone began to get a little tired and things settled down. Steve and Sam had joined us after they finished their game of pool and even Bucky and Clint had strolled over. We ordered a bunch of large pizzas even though it was like 11pm. Me and Nat were curled up on the sofa together whilst Vision put his arm around Wanda, pulling her in close. She smiled and I grinned at her, laughing a little. She rolled her eyes playfully but smiled back at me.

The door bell rang and Thor returned a few minutes later with a tall stack of pizzas. We all cheered and he placed them on the main table so that everyone could grab a few slices of what they wanted. Tony had also put in an order of cheeseburgers. I grabbed a little plate and took a few slices of cheese pizza and a cheeseburger. I walked over to Pepper and handed the plate of food to Morgan who was still sat on her lap.

"I thought you might like some food, before Thor eats it all." I smiled softly at her. She grinned and took a big bite of her cheeseburger making me giggle a little.

"What do we say?" Pepper asked Morgan, stroking her back lightly.

"Fankoo!" She grinned at me. I ruffled her hair and told her it was no problem.

"After this, I think it is your bedtime missy." Pepper told her daughter.

"Nooo." Morgan complained through a mouthful of cheese pizza.

"Yesssss." Pepper replied jokingly.

"Can y/n tuck me in?" Morgan asked her mum.

"I don't see why not, if that is okay with you?" Pepper asked me.

"Yeah that is fine, I would love to." I said happy that Morgan wanted me to tuck her in.

"Eat up then hunny." Pepper told Morgan. She grinned and stuffed the last bite of cheese pizza into her mouth before chewing happily.

"Food makes everything better doesn't it?" I asked Morgan.

"Yep!" She agreed enthusiastically. I laughed and took her hand as she led me upstairs to her room.

3rd person's POV

Nat walked over to Pepper and Tony after grabbing herself and Y/n some food before it was all taken. "Where is y/n?" She asked.

"Morgan wanted Y/N to tuck her in so she is upstairs at the minute." Pepper told her.

"She seems to have taken a real shine to your girlfriend." Tony observed.

"Yeah I thought so too." Nat agreed thoughtfully.

Y/N's POV

Morgan crawled into her bed after brushing her teeth and changing into her pjamas. 

"Can you read me a story?" She asked me.

"I don't see any books here." I told her.

She looked around and agreed, "Can you sing a song instead? Mummy always sings me a song." 

"Oh well I don't really sing but if you want me to then sure." I said a little surprised. "Let me go and get my guitar." I told Morgan who nodded and promised not to move.

I ran to my room, grabbed my guitar and my notebook before returning as quickly as possible.

"Choose a song." I told Morgan giving her my lyric book. She hummed and flicked through the book looking at the song titles before pointing at one.

"Ah good choice, its a little long though so ill just do a few parts okay?" I asked her.

"Yep!" She grinned at me.

"Okay here goes." I said as I sat the guitar on my lap.

Morgan clapped along

Nat's POV

I was walking to the bathroom when I heard this sound. This perfect angelic voice, one that I recognised, and I followed the sound to a doorway where I leant against the frame and listened as Y/N sang.

"I used to think maybe you loved me, now I know that it's true

And I don't want to spend my whole life just a-waiting for you

Now, I don't want you back for the weekend, not back for a day, no, no, no

I said, baby, I just want you back, and I want you to stay"

Morgan smiled at Y/n in pure joy and it warmed my heart.

"Now I'm walking on sunshine, whoa

"Now you sing it." y/n told Morgan. "Just repeat after me. I'm walking on sunshine, whoa."

"I'm wAlkInG on sUnShInE, WoAaaAh." Morgan sang wobbly.

"Yeah that was awesome." Y/n praised her. Morgan laughed and nestled further into her duvet covers. "Get some rest, I'll see you in the morning. Promise." She interlocked Morgans pinky finger with her own and pushed the hair out of her face. "Goodnight Morgan." She said sweetly before pressing a kiss to her forehead. 

"Good night Y/N." Morgan murmured as she felt sleep take over. 

Y/n sighed as she watched the girl smile contentedly. She picked up her guitar and turned around only to jump at the sight of me.

"That was beautiful." I told her smiling.

"It really was." Tony said from behind me. We both looked to see the rest of the team and Pepper in the corridor. 

"Were you all listening to me sing?" Y/n asked embarrassed.

"Yeah but don't worry it was perfect." Peter reassured her.

"Thanks Spidey." Y/n grinned a little.

"You are really good with kids." Wanda commented. 

"Have you got experience?" Steve asked.

"Something like that." Y/n told them. "Well I am tired so I am gunna go to bed, I'll see you all in the morning. Oh and no one eat the food the Nat saved for me, because I know she saved me some. I'm having that tomorrow!" She warned the team as she walked to her room.

"Hey Y/n." Tony and pepper called her aside quickly, whispering something to her before letting her go again.

"That's my cue. I'll see you in the morning."I told the team before following Y/n.

Y/n got into bed straight away after throwing on an old t-shirt and a pair of pants. I walked in and looked at her happily. "Take a picture, it'll last longer." She told me through her closed eyes.

"I might just do that." I said leaning over to give her a kiss. "Night baby." I said getting off the bed again.

"Wait." She said grabbing my wrist. "Will you stay with me?" She asked hopefully.

"I mean do you want me to?" I asked.

"More than anything." She smiled softly.

I grinned and got changed before cuddling her under the duvet and holding her close.

Spend time with family or friends, if you can.

Eat at least one meal today, I am so proud of you, you got this!

No matter how long you have been clean for, I am also so proud of you and it will get better, trust me.
