《Natasha x Y/N》Chapter 8

Nat's POV
Y/N had been avoiding me since yesterday. I guess it was because she came out to me, but I don't understand why she was so scared. None of us are going to view her any differently. I decided to go and find her. She was supposed to be training Peter so that's where I started looking.
I stood leant against the doorway that lead into the gym. The two of them were in the middle of fighting and I didn't want to disturb them. Peter had improved quite a lot since I last saw him fight. Y/N was obviously a good teacher.
Y/N's POV
I held my hand up to signal for a break. "You're doing loads better spidey." I told him.
"Thanks." He said brightly.
"We do have to work on you talking during fights though, if you wanna talk to me wait until we aren't training." I said laughing slightly.
"We aren't training right now." Peter observed.
"Yep, well done." I said sarcastically.
"So can I ask you a question?" And don't say, 'you just did.'" He said rolling his eyes.
"Hey, careful you're spending too much time with Stark, he is rubbing off on you." I joked. "Sure what's your question?" I asked, whilst taking a drink from my bottle.
"Well, it's about Nat." He began cautiously.
"Oh, okay." I sighed.
Nat's POV
When they stopped fighting I was about to go over but then Peter mentioned me. I felt like I was intruding but I also didn't want to leave, so I stayed where I was and listened. Deciding I would pretend to walk in just after they finished talking.
"Oh, okay." Y/N sighed. She seemed to have been expecting a question about me.
Y/N's POV
I looked at Peter, unsure what he was going to ask me.
"You like Nat right?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said, wondering where this was going.
"But like more than friends?" He said.
"Yes Peter." I narrowed my eyes.
"So why are you avoiding her?" He asked curiously. I sighed and sat down on the bench behind us, he did the same.
"It's scary. I told Nat I was gay, and she was okay with it." I began.
"That's good right?" Peter interrupted.
"Yeah that is, that is really good." I agreed. "But I then had a go at her and said she was the reason I was so miserable."
"Miserable?" He questioned.
"Yeah Peter. My time at HYDRA was not exactly a walk in the park. You know Bucky, and some of what he has been through. Well I was very similar. We received the same kind of torture and punishments but they went easier on Bucky because they needed him to go outside without drawing attention to himself with injuries or burns. They didn't care so much with me. They didn't hold back." I said quietly. "I began to believe that I deserved the pain and the punishment. So when I joined the avengers and everybody was nice to me, it was so strange. The only person I felt safe around was Nat, because she was so hostile towards me. I knew I liked her very early on and I hated that she couldn't stay in the same room as me."
"So is that what made you miserable?" Peter asked me.
"Look kid, I have been through some stuff okay. None of it very nice. I joined the avengers and everybody was good to me except the one person I actually wanted to like me. Then just as we were getting along I ruined it all by spilling my guys to her, I can't face her right now." I shook my head.

"I don't think you ruined anything. Besides, you might need to face Nat sooner than you think." He tilted his head towards a figure stood in the door way. "I'll make lunch." He said leaving me.
Nat's POV
I stood against the door frame, listening to what Peter was saying. I have to admit I was shocked when y/n said she liked me. I thought I was the reason she was so sad? I was thinking about this, not focused on the rest of their conversation when I saw someone walk towards me. I looked up and saw Peter. He just smiled as he walked past, saying lunch would be ready in 15minutes.
"Thanks, kid." I replied.
I walked over to where y/n was sat on the bench. "Soooo." I began.
"Look Nat I am really sorry. I don't want anything to change, we were just beginning to be friends and then I messed it up. I don't hate you and you aren't really the reason I am sad all the time, I just needed someone to blame and you hated me already so I just thought it wouldn't matter so much." She rambled quickly.
"Shhh." I said placing a finger her lips. "It's okay." I told her. She nodded and looked away.
"Did you hear our conversation?" She asked nervously.
"Some of it, yeah." I admitted.
"Which part?" She asked.
"The beginning bit, I kind of wasn't focusing on the end part." I told her.
"Oh. Right...so you heard me say-" She tailed off.
"Yeah, I heard you say that you liked me." I finished for her. She bit her lip and scrunched up her face.
"Look, I'm sorry about that." She said running a hand over her head. "I know we aren't even friends and then I just dropped that on you, that was unfair. You don't need to say anything I just hope we can ignore it and move on?" She looked at me.
"What if I don't want to ignore it?" I whispered.
"What do you mean?" She asked getting up.
"Who said I liked men?" I said questioningly, getting up too.
"Well I just thought that you and Rogers seemed pretty cosy, and there was that thing with Bruce." She said, confused.
"Yeah, there is a reason that didn't work out." I laughed."And Rogers is my friend, no more than that."
"I don't understand." She said slowly.
"I'm Bi, Y/N. I like girls too." I said, slowly taking her hand and interlocking our fingers. "So what if I don't want to ignore it?" I asked again. She blushed as she looked down at our hands. "I love it when you blush." I said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. That just made her blush harder. "You're not very good at the whole flirting thing are you?" I laughed.
"Not with people I actually like. I've flirted with tons of men to distract them on missions." She protested.
"Oh so you actually like me then?" I smirked at her as she blushed again.
"I- uhm, well. The thing is I err. Maybe?" she stammered.
"Good." I whispered. "That means I get to do this." I let go of y/n's hand and moved them to her waist, pulling her into me as we stood in the middle of the room. There was maybe an inch between us, which I quickly closed. I kissed her gently, my hands still on her waist and hers around me neck, keeping me close. I pulled away after a few seconds. "Still want to ignore it?" I teased her.

"Uhmm no. No. No I do not." She said as she pulled me in for another kiss.
"As nice as this is, Peter will have lunch ready by now." I told her. She nodded and let go of me.
"Let's go then." She said brightly, walking ahead and leaving me to catch up.
***
Y/N's POV
We walked into the kitchen and saw the Peter had prepared us all some pitas with Caesar salad and olives, mixed in with chicken and mayo. With additional salad and a relish to the side. It looked great.
"Hey Peter, good job on the food!" I said as I sat down on one of the four chairs. Peter sat opposite me and Wanda sat next to Peter, leaving the chair next to me free for Nat to sit on.
"This is really good, where did you learn to make stuff?" Wanda asked, quite impressed.
"Just kinda taught myself." Peter replied.
"You did a good job." Nat said as she sat next to me. Peter and Wanda both looked at me, not very subtly. "We talked." Nat said to the two who were still trying to catch my eye.
"And?" Wanda asked. Nat looked at me and took my hand under the table holding it. "Once for yes, twice for no." She whispered into my ear, so only I could hear. I nodded to show I understood. "Can I tell them?" She said so the others could hear. I squeezed her hand once before looking at Peter and Wanda. "And we kissed." She said casually.
"WOOOO!" Peter yelled, fists in the air.
"About time you two." Wanda grinned at me.
"Yeah, yeah. All right guys. I still need to tell the others." I reminded them.
"Do you?" Wanda asked smirking.
"What? Of course I do." I said confused.
"You know, I think Wanda is right." Nat said as she looked at me.
"Wait what is going on?" Peter asked, confused.
"Ohhh, I see." I said as understanding washed over me. "Yeah we could do something like that."
"Good, because it is movie night tonight." Wanda told us.
"Okay well, I think we have a plan." Nat stood up and gestured for me to do the same. "Koala?" She asked smiling.
"Koala." I agreed. I jumped up and put my arms around her neck as i held onto her front by wrapping my legs around her waist.
"Ohh Koala." Wanda said from behind us. I laughed and Nat walked us over to the lift where she set me down, incase there was anybody in there. Also because we all know what Tony is like with the security feed. She pressed the button for her my floor, as I shared it with Peter and Wanda who already knew.
We walked over to my room and she shut the door behind us as I walked over to my bed. "Sorry about the mess." I apologised as I began to clear my notepads and sketchbooks off of the covers.
"No problem, don't worry about it." She said as she began to pick up the clothes I had thrown onto the floor a few days ago. "I do gotta ask tho. Why did you paint your windows black?"
"I didn't. It's a fake tint. I got Tony to install it a few months ago, so when it is really sunny I turn the tint on and my room stays cooler. I leave the tint on because I like the privacy. Besides I turn it off at night so I can watch the stars." I told her.
"We really need to work on your sleep schedule." Nat said laughing.
"Yeah I guess, I'm okay though." I said lying down on the bed, now it was clear. "You want some more light in here?" I asked her.
"Yeah, please." She replied. I snapped my fingers twice and the tint cleared away, revealing the blue sky outside and letting the sun rays fall onto my carpet floor. She looked impressed.
"You listen to music then?" She said pointing to my headphone collection and my shelf of radios.
"Yeah I listen and I write some of my own." I said pointing to my guitar which stood in the corner of the room.
"Can I listen to a song you have written?" She asked.
"Uhmm I guess? Can you pass me that green leather book please?" I said pointing to one of the books we had cleared off of my bed. She passed it over and I flicked through the pages until I found a song I liked. I got up off the bed, grabbed my guitar and sat back down, facing Nat who also sat on my bed.
"Ready?" I asked her.
"Always." She said grinning.
I strummed my guitar and began to sing.
"Hey there Delilah
What's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away
But girl, tonight you look so pretty
Yes you do
Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true
Hey there Delilah
Don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice, it's my disguise
I'm by your side
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me
Hey there Delilah
I know times are getting hard
But just believe me, girl
Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar
We'll have it good
We'll have the life we knew we would
My word is good
Hey there Delilah
I've got so much left to say you
If every simple song I wrote to you
Would take your breath away
I'd write it all
Even more in love with me you'd fall
We'd have it all..."
I looked at Nat who sat there staring at me.
"I haven't finished it, but thats what I've got so far." I said, a little embarrassed.
"That was amazing, how did you come up with those lyrics?" She asked.
"Oh, uhmm well I kind of wrote this song when you were away on a mission, and I missed you." I said, not looking at her face.
"Aw, that's so sweet." She said smiling at me.
"Thanks." I said, resting my guitar on the side of my bed and closing the lyric book.
"I have to go train but I'll see you at the movie night later?" She asked, getting up from my bed.
"Of course, see you later." I replied.

As the world grows darker day by day, this unfortunate journey begins ------------ I suppose rectitude dictates that I should state any themes worthy of noting here. First of all, this story is not a sunshiny one in the slightest. Since it is listed under the psychological and mature tag and not the comedy tag, that shouldn't be a surprise. Next, morbidity is a factor and general apathy towards human life. All of these are common themes amongst other writers, so nothing new there. The story also contains consensual, and non-consensual sexual activity, although I have tried to be as tasteful as is possible for someone like myself. Finally, the pace is drawn-out, and the language is magniloquent at times. Not to mention, the chapters are quite lengthy. Don't expect to read this halfheartedly... Other than that, enjoy the story... There's nothing more important than that...

Super Sekken (An Action Shonen Story)
This is the author’s first story ever written. It may not be great, but do check it out, and I hope you enjoy! I’m currently working on its sequel. Hope. Courage. Self-value. Friends. These all were traits that former junior high soccer champion and first year Miyuki Sekken had none of until she first walked into the doors of her local High School. Despite being a sports athlete phenomenon in her school district, Miyuki dreaded its attention, and even quit her career in pursuit of living a simplistic daily routine. This daily routine would be inevitably interrupted when she chooses to 'branch out' by talking to people. Whether it be a chance of bad luck, fate, or karma, Sekken ends up speaking to someone who was unknowingly suffering from a curse: a curse that causes anyone who tries to get close to them to disappear. Miyuki Sekken would be the next victim, finding herself face-to-face against a once-thought mythical mafia. This gang is not just any gang either, but one who is run solely by the school students of Maguro High, who hold secrets to powers unheard of by the world. How will this first year survive? Will she conquer her anxiety and thwart the gang's vicious rule? Or will she end up losing more than she could have imagined? P.S. I am not a good drawer, so I use Picrews and photo editors to get the general idea for my characters' designs. Rights to the Picrews used go to their respective authors.
