《Natasha x Y/N》Chapter 4

Y/N's POV
I walked back into my room and flopped onto my bed. Training was over and I really needed a shower but I just could not stop thinking about what had happened already this morning. I was a complete mess around the Russian red-head.
I blushed during my boxing when Nat held my waist, I tensed because I hate people touching me but it was slightly less bad with her doing it. I was stupid at breakfast because Nat asked for the honey pot and I thought she was calling me honey! Why did I think that? We hated each other, we always argued, and we have never had a proper decent conversation. Then later at training when she pinned me to the ground all I could think about was how close our faces were, how green her eyes were and how she was practically laid on top of me.
I broke out of my thoughts as I saw a hand wave in front of my face. I jumped out of bed and punched the person in the face. "What was that for Y/N!?" Steve shouted as he held his face.
"Omg Steve! I'm so sorry, I was not concentrating. I was just thinking and I was away with my thoughts and I just saw this hand and I just sorta reacted. I'm so so sorry." I apologised repeatedly to the super soldier.
"Don't worry about it," He said pinching his nose, his eyes watering from the shock "I know you didn't mean it, although I am interested in what got you so distracted, that is not like you." He said looking at me, calmer after he got over the surprise of being punched in the nose.
"Oh just uh nothing really, yeah... not important." I lied badly.
"Mhmm sure. Well I came to tell you that Tony is holding a party at 8PM because Carol, is visiting us." He informed me kindly.
"Oh okay, thanks Steve, I guess I will see you there then." I smiled at him.
"Yeah I guess you will. Also the whole team will be there, it is compulsory." He smiled back.
"Uhh everyone?" I questioned.
"Yeah, everyone, so you and Nat had better try and get along for one evening at least." He laughed.
"Shouldn't be a problem." I laughed weakly, trying to stop the blush I could sense from the mention of her name.
"Anyway, I will leave you to it." He smiled again and shut the door on the way out.
I looked back at my clock. 15:47 PM. "Shit!" I exclaimed as I jumped into the shower for a quick 10 minute wash. I washed my hair this time. Jumping out I dried myself off quickly and got most of the water out of my hair. I pulled on a pair of black jeans, a navy blue tank top and my mothers necklace. I left my golden brown hair curling past my shoulders, tying it only half up, just so it kept its length but stayed out my face. I locked my door and sprinted down to the garage where Tony kept the cars. "JARVIS? Which car can I take?" I asked the AI

"Whichever one you would like Miss Y/L/N" He replied
"Thanks, but could you just call me 'Y/N'?"
"Of course...Y/N" He jested. Tony really had done wonders on this AI's personality.
I walked over to a black Chevrolet Corvette and requested manual control from F.R.I.D.A.Y, I drove the car out of the compound and over to Midtown High school. Stark wanted me to pick him up at 16:00 PM. I pulled up outside the main entrance, at 16:18 PM, and saw him talking to a pretty girl with long brown hair and a boy with short black hair. I knew they were MJ and Ned. Parker brought them to the tower a few times before. "Sorry to break up the party but Stark needs you kid." I yelled out of the window. A few heads turned our way as the name 'Stark' was mentioned. Parker said his good byes and just as he was about to get into the car, in the seat next me, a voice called out. "Damn Parker, ain't your girlfriend a bit old for you?" The kid laughed and high fives his mates. Peter ignored him. "Hey kid!" I yelled back. "1) Peter is 15 and I am 29, we are not dating. 2) Peter is in a committed relationship, which is more than you will ever have.. 3) I do not like men. 4) This car I am driving right now, is worth more than your whole house." I smiled sweetly and waved at him, in a way that I had used to complete a few missions in the past. In other words, seductively. He gulped and shuffled his feet. "Lost for words are we Flash?" Parker suddenly yelled. I laughed and yelled back out to MJ and Ned, "You two are invited to the compound tonight, Stark's orders." They thanked me as I drove away, leaving Flash dumbstruck.
"That was so cool miss-" Parker began but I cut him off.
"If you call me miss Y/L/N one more time I swear to god I will throw you off the tower. Call me Y/N, okay kid?" I laughed at his shocked face. "Don't worry, you're spider man, you'll be fine, besides Thor will catch you."
He nodded. "Thanks Y/N, for dealing with Flash, he can be so annoying sometimes."
"No problem. Now there is a party at 7PM because Carol is coming over. It is compulsory so I assume Stark wants you there too, he didn't actually invite your friends but I doubt he will mind, it will give you people you're age to talk to and it was funny seeing Flash's face. Now we have about 2 hours to get some training in, you ready?" I asked as I pulled up to the compound.
"Yeah, I just need to get changed into my suit." He said.
"Me too kid, me too. Now go and I will meet you in the gym in 15 minutes." I told him.
"Wait can I ask you a question?" Peter muttered.
"You just did." I laughed before seeing he was serious. "Of course, what do you want to know?"

"Well before, at school, you told Flash that you didn't...uh that you didn't like.. men?" He said.
"Yeah thats what I said." I replied wondering where this was going.
"So... so you like girls?" He said.
"Yeah Peter, I like girls. I am a lesbian, okay?" I clarified.
"Yeah, no thats fine. I just wondered because I always kinda thought you were straight. Do the others know?" He looked up at me.
"Well...no. I came out to my parents before they were killed and they didn't take it very well, since then I decided that I wasn't going to 'come out', people can just figure it out themselves." I explained.
"That makes sense. Thank you for telling me....Y/N" He smiled at me.
"No problem kid, now go get ready." I smiled as he left, he really was sweet.
He ran to his room to get changed, saying 'hi' to everyone as he passed. I went to my room, grabbed my suit and tied my hair up properly. I went back down to the gym and waited for Parker. As I waited a figure stepped out from the far end of the room.
Nat's POV
I saw how Y/N looks at me when she thinks I am not looking. I noticed how she grows quieter around me and suddenly looks at the ground. For someone who always has a comeback she could barely speak around me. I told Clint about this and he suggested that I try and see whether or not Y/N likes me. I thought about it and decided to mess with her again, we had to spend the next 48 hours together anyway so now was a good a time as any.
Y/N's POV
"I've been looking for you, where have you been?" I looked over to the voice. My heart stopped.
"Natasha?" I asked, trying to keep my voice calm, it was pointless, she was a professional spy and a trained assassin, she could tell me what I had for lunch just by looking at me. I tried anyway.
"I was hoping to talk to you." She said as she slowly walked over from where she had her back pressed against the wall.
"You were?" I didn't know what else to say, I thought we weren't talking to each other?
She walked up to me and stood less than a metre away. I looked at the ground, knowing I wouldn't be able to talk to her if I looked her in the face. "Where were you?" She asked softly.
"I..uh.. I went to - to get Peter from school. Why?" I said, hesitating only a little, still staring at the floor.
"I missed you." She whispered into the void between us. It seemed to echo off the walls, amplifying in volume every time, even though I barely heard her. My palms began to sweat, I swallowed thickly, and I could feel myself heating up. I licked my lips to stop them drying out and shifted slightly where I stood.
"Thank you?" I said, unsure of what response she wanted.
She smirked and took another step towards me. Now we were inches apart. Whilst Nat was small she was still slightly taller than me, which made me feel like Nat was dominating me even more. She stared at me for a few long moments before she tilted my chin so I was looking up at her. Her eyes flicked across my face and she seemed to be studying me. She leant forward and using her hand to tilt my head to the side, exposing my neck, whispered. "I look forward to seeing you at the party, we have to spend the next 48 hours together, remember?" She took my hand with her free one and rubbed circles on the back of it with her thumb.
My breath hitched as I felt her breath against my ear, lips nearly brushing the surface of my skin. Her hand stayed holding mine and she didn't move for a few moments, waiting to see what I would do. I froze. My face turned a light shade of red and my hand began to sweat. My heart was pounding so loud, I was sure she could hear it. She pulled away and let go of my chin and hand, smirking at the fact I was blushing. "Why are you sweating? Nervous?" She teased me, flirtatiously.
"N-n-no just uh too warm in here, thats uhm thats all." I lied badly again.
"It's 4 degrees in here Y/N..... I don't think it's the room that's too hot for you." She winked and walked out the gym, leaving my mind reeling with so many questions and thoughts and feelings, but with no time to process them.
"Hey, we ready?" I heard Peter ask.
"Right, yes of course. Get over here, we are gonna start with some simple hand to hand combat, okay?" I said trying to recover quickly as he walked over.
"Sure thing." He replied as he flipped into the boxing ring I had pointed at.
"Show off." I muttered as I climbed through the ropes."Now we are just gonna spar and then do some tackling and finally disarming of weapons such as knives, guns and shields."
He nodded and we worked for nearly the full two hours, with a few breaks as we went. I taught him a move and then we perfected it. Then we used the move in combat and finally he taught it back to me, as if I didn't know what the move was. Peter was a quick learner and happy to try anything. He got a little discouraged part way through so I changed tact and had him fight me instead. He liked to move around and be on the defensive so I played to his strengths and did all the attacking.
"Okay. We're done here." I said as he disarmed me from the training knife I was holding. "You have done really well kid, you should be proud. Same time tomorrow. Now we have a party to get ready for, don't be late." I said as I grabbed my bottle and walked out.
"I won't!" He called after me. I chuckled and walked up to my room.
