"So, what are we doing today?" I asked Adam coming up behind him on the couch and wrapping my arms around his neck.

I knew he smiled as he reached up with his hand and put it on my arm. He answered, "I was thinking about showing you more of the pack. It's either that or..." His arms reached up farther and dragged me up and over the couch. I landed underneath him and saw his devilish mouth smiling down at me. "Or we could stay here all day."

I pushed him away. "No, I would rather learn more about the pack. I've been wanting too for awhile now." I shimmied my way out from under him back into a standing position. I knew my face was flustered but I ignored it. I put my hands on my hips and looked firm. I really wanted to do it and he wasn't going to change my mind.

He rolled his eyes and sighed in defeat. "Fine, let's go. I know I offered it, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't mind doing the other suggestion I had."

I wouldn't mind either, that was for sure, but I would rather know more about the pack I was apart of.

We walked down the stairs and toward the pack house hand in hand. It took us a few minutes but after the peaceful, quiet walk, we made it.

"Well, everyone who does not own a home or live with their parents live here at the pack house. So this is mostly a place for teenagers who don't or can't live at home, people who haven't found their mates, and young couples who don't have a home yet. They all have their own apartment like homes so they are comfortable but many of us still gather to eat together in the great dinning hall. There are two of them, the great dinning hall is to hold many people and the smaller one is for gatherings for the alpha families and/or other guest from packs. The great dinning hall is also a place used for everyone to gather as a meeting place to hold pack meetings. We sometimes have meetings outside."

He took me through much of he house, which I hadn't seen yet. It was much bigger than I originally thought. There was also two levels underground mostly used for entertainment and extra apartments when there is no more available above ground.

"You have already seen our stable, so I won't take you through there but it is where we keep our horses and the chickens like to be there too so they stay on the opposite side. Farther away we have a barn full of other animals." It was cheaper to raise their own animals for a bunch of hungry werewolves, otherwise it would cost a fortune to buy all the food they eat, but they had a fortune. Saving money wherever possible helped with the pack. It was understandable.

"Anyways, you job as Luna is equal to me. You are also the ruler of the pack and also mother. The pack looks to you for comfort. As Alpha, I make decisions and settle arguments and also talk to other packs but I also talk to you about it. You help with everything in the pack. You are the life of the pack, the pack would fall without its Luna."

He was taking me up flights of stairs as he explained this. "The Betas are second in command. They stand in whenever we are gone. We also take counsel from them but we ultimately make the decisions. They do almost everything we do but it also has to go through us first."

"The third in command is the pack warrior trainer and takes over the pack should the Alpha and Beta die. This hardly ever happens. But he trains everyone to make our pack safe and strong."

We pas the last floor of apartments, half of the floor belonging to the third in command. "The top floor is ours, the Alpha and Luna, and the floor below us is the Betas. This is so until we move out. We can allow others, like our family to live there too."

We walked up to the top floor and I was amazed at the sight of it. When I was kept up here, I never really took it in, mainly because I didn't want to. Before I could explore and absorb it all, he door was banged open and revealed a heavily breathing guard He must have flew to be breathing that hard, especially since werewolves have great endurance.

"Alpha! Luna! Come quick! You have to see this. You won't believe what we found! It's a little boy! And that's not all."

I finally was able to write this chapter. I haven't had a device to write on since my brother took the laptop from me and would not tell me where it was. I've also started a job so I don't have as much time to write, but I'll try to do it as much as possible. I'm also taking the ACT this weekend. Yikes!

Anyways, I'm really excited about this story now. The idea popped into my head while I was writing this chapter. I had wanted this story to connect somehow with another one I am going to write and I finally did! Yay! What do you think is going to happen?
