A little nervous about this chapter, I've done something different, I'm sure you'll know what I mean when you get to it, but I hope you like what I have done!

A: "Your mum said you were asleep."

E: "..."

A: "I don't know, I just hoped you'd magically wake up when I visited."

E: "..."

A: "... you're such an idiot, Eli! You were two storeys up, what kind of imbecile thinks balancing on a rail two storeys up is a good idea!"

E: "..."

A: "Wow, you're a heavy sleeper."

E: "..."

A: "I was so worried when you fell, my chest felt like it was going to explode. The ambulance came to take you away after a random guy called them. They wouldn't let me come with you, I may or may not have screamed bad words at them. It's been awful without you at school. I know you hit your head pretty hard and you need to heal up but that all seems so irrelevant to the crushing amount of missing you I am feeling."

E: "..."

A: "It's a little weird telling you this while you're sleeping, but I know you'd just make fun of me if you were awake."

E; "..."

A: "I told you not to slide down the bloody banisters!"

E: "...language, Aeryn, you-"

She jumped at the sound of his hoarse voice, but quickly cut him off by pressing her lips softly, briefly, to his. His sleep ridden, previously half closed eyes, flew wide open in shock.

E: "...I should fall off banisters more often."

A: "...oh...shut up."
