E: "Oh, Sleeping Beauty has finally decided to wake up, I see. I've been sat out here for half an hour throwing these little stone things in your driveway at the window, you must be the heaviest sleeper in existence."

A: "I-what? What are you doing here so early, it's quarter to eight!"

E: "It's your birthday!"

A: "Yeah?"

E: "I decided I was going to be the first person to wish you a happy birthday! So, happy birthday!"

A: "You're insane. And I'm pretty sure that this is the point where you should be serenading me with a magical rendition of the happy birthday song."

E: "Nice try, not singing."

A: "Ah, it was worth a shot."

E: "Go and get ready for school, we can go together."

A: "I cycle to school though."

E: "I brought my bike, it'll be fun!"

A: "You were very thorough with your plans."

E: "Hurry up and change or you won't get your present."

A: "Okay!"

E: "..."

A: "Okay, I'm ready!"

E: "You didn't take very long."

A: "Not much I needed to do."

E: "Well, er, here's your present, Aeryn."

A: "Oh, nice wrapping."

E: "Shut up and open it."

A: "A necklace! It's a little hand!"

E: "Yeah, and its pinky is held up. I'm wearing the matching one, see, and they link together. It's one of those friendship promises, I thought it was appropriate."

A: "Can you fasten it on for me?"

E: "Sure...oh, surprise hug!"

A: "Thank you so much, this is the best present ever."

E: "Happy birthday, Aeryn."

A: "You're the best friend ever."
