A/n ~ checked some old notes & saw I had this written down cause of a old dream I had.... soooo I'm gonna try to write down what I can remember!
Have you been in a bad relationship before?
A relationship where everything was good... until shit randomly hit the fan? Nah... more like the fan hit you...
You could've swore everything was good.... then suddenly that person... just... how do I put it?
"Changes."
I always say... no one really changes when it comes to relationships.... they just show their true selves.
They showed this image of what you wanted... and once they got you in their hands..... they became this monster, so to speak.
They made you happy..... they made you smile... made you laugh.... made you feel so good....
Then just you.
Separated themselves.... didn't take you out.... didn't show you off.... made multiple excuses.... barely even touched you anymore....
Then you started thinking to yourself...
"Is it my fault??"
I groaned as I felt an arm wrap tighter around my waist, the comforting scent of raspberries and champagne throughout the room. I felt the soft pair of lips on my left shoulder, then up to my neck, my earlobe, then my cheek. I groaned again, the gentle raspy voice being in my ear once again. The lips pecking my cheek multiple times.
I flipped over onto my belly, pressing my face into the pillow but I kept getting kissed on... the same hand traveling lightly down my back to my ass. /smack,/ "Ayo! The fuck is that for?" I sat up to see my boyfriend of 4 years chuckling at me, his messy honey brown hair moving around. He kissed my lips before throwing the covers off of himself, I watched as his honey toned skin glowed with the sunlight.
He blew out the candle that was on my desk before facing me, he only wore black shorts, so all over his lean body was in my vision. I scoffed playfully, forcing myself out of bed. "Ugh! Bruh it's only 8am... why so early?" He chuckled at me before walking into the bathroom. I patted my bonnet covered head as I slowly followed behind, he was grabbing his skin care stuff from under the sink.
He asked me without even looking my way, "Forgot what?" I leaned against the bathroom door as he turned on the water. I gasped as I quickly went to turn the shower on then ran back to find an outfit. "Why didn't the damn calendar remind me?!" I could hear him chuckling as I ran around getting things ready. "I would cook but it takes 20 minutes to reach there, sorry bae!"
He shook his head,He left the bathroom so I could finish getting ready, thank gosh I had him.
It was around 9:25 when I strapped my heels on, the plum red pencil skirt fitting my soft curves and the white button up wasn't too big or tight on my bust. I walked down the stairs to see my boyfriend tying his shoes, "You going out?" He stood up with his little smile, his cute dimples popping out. I kissed him slowly, placing my hands on his chest while he wrapped his arms around me.
We both pulled back from the sweet kiss, "If I didn't have this interview I'd go with you." He chuckled while scratching his head, I playfully rolled my eyes before leaving. We both got in our cars driving the opposite way, me to get a job and him... to the studio?

"Woah this is nice!" I whispered after arriving to the New Edge bank, it was the most modern bank I seen in Taechon, I was living in Gwanju with my boyfriend Hoseok.
I had moved here right after high school, I went to school in Seoul where I met Hoseok, he was there visiting a friend around my age. He was the finest damn man I laid my eyes on, I didn't even realize something would happen between us. I was only 18 and he was 23, saying he was rapper/producer who worked with Agust D and RM.
Did I scream? Absolutely! He worked with my favorite artists who he helped me meet... the sweetest guys to ever be friends with. Back to me trying to get a job... at the age of 24...
Walking inside the bank felt like I entered a new world, the place looked like something only idols would go into. I went to a bank teller asking for the manager, "Yes I'm looking for Park Jimin! I'm here for an interview." The lady nodded and called for the man... who was actually the supervisor. He had walked out looking like he owned the building, he was a bit shorter than me... then again I was wearing heels.
"Miss Reed? Nice to meet you, please follow me." His voice sounded angelic... but almost seductive if he spoke longer. We reached his office that was almost larger than my living room, "Please sit! So your work has been recommended to me actually.." I blinked blankly. Someone recommended me to work here?
We kept talking and he eventually told me he was friends with Hoseok, mainly because he was married to Agust D himself.... aka Yoongi.
"Why go by Park still?" He did a smile as he looked at his ring, "Because I was the one who proposed... he acted so scared to do it himself." he rolled his eyes as we both laughed. When walking out of the office, he almost left skid marks as he stopped moving, he quickly backed me into his office and slammed the door. "Woah is everything alright Jimin?" He dryly laughed as he grabbed his phone, I tried to keep my eyes on him but his thumbs were clicking at a fast rate.
"Everything is okay! Just uhm... the floor was soaked! I think the bathroom has a leak... it'll be terrible if you fell." I nodded slowly only catching onto five words, did he talk fast when he got nervous? "Oh... I didn't even see anyone enter... or panic about it." He nodded, I noticed his hands being jittery and was slightly bouncing on his heels. I squinted but made sure to not look suspicious, "Do you... need to use the restroom?" His widen then nodded, his mullet shaking along.
"Very! Let me check if they cleaned the mess!" He turned his back to me to make a phone call, walking to the corner of his office speaking in a hushed tone. I could hear him sigh before ending the call, "Okay! It's safe to walk out... we have quick janitors around here... to ensure safety haha." I smiled as we exited the office, the floors didn't even look like they were wet to begin with.
I left the bank so I could head to a quick cafe, I desperately needed coffee... it's been weeks since I had one. I sent a message to Hoseok asking how he was before driving off to Green Eden barista... our favorite cafe.

The place thankfully wasn't crowded, the vines and flowers looked real, giving the place the 'garden of Eden' look. "Uhh... coffee! Need coffee." I groaned like a zombie as I reached my friend Zoe at the register, she smiled already clicking on the computer. "That'll be $8.25 Kolbie," we chuckled as I paid her, I turned to see a woman next to me holding a baby wrapped up in her beige sweater. The little boy looked at me with pretty almond shaped eyes, "Hey little handsome! Aren't you just precious?" He giggled and the mom smiled at us.
"How many months?" She looked at me with a bright expression, "8 months... ugh I wish he was smaller again! Best time, you'll miss it once you have children." I chuckled with her. Some days I did wis me and Hobi talked about children, at the time I wasn't ready when he was but he respected the fact I wanted to wait. I turned back to see....
"Hobi?" He tightly smiled at me, awkwardly with a baby bottle in his hand. I furrowed my brows, I remember texting him where I was headed. "I came to get coffee... do you know her?" The lady nodded, "Yeah he's my f.." he cut her off. I slowly nodded, my name got called so I turned to get my order.
"Well... Hobi's friend... it was nice meeting you, I'll see you later okay." I was about to kiss him but he hugged me? h
He led SunMi and her baby to a empty table, handing her the bottle. I walked out with a confused expression, if he was with her why didn't he just tell me that. Checking my phone to see if he did... but he never even read the message.
A few days later I didn't bother to ask who the woman was, I was just glad I got the job and immediately started working. The celebratory part was the best thing to receive after the first week of work.
"Ahh... ah... ah." my body shuttered as I came down from my climax, my back softly hitting the bed feeling drained. "Hmm... round 2 later?" I said with a giggle but stopped once I saw Hoseok checking his phone before getting up. "Hobi?" He didn't say anything as he scrambled to put on new boxers, going to the closet to throw on a t shirt and sweats. I sat up not even caring if my breasts were out, "Hobi? Are you gonna ignore me?" He waved his hand as he put his socks on then grabbed his slides.
"Hoseok... imma need you to talk or something." He grunted as he fluffed his hair, he didn't even let me speak, just grabbed his phone and basically ran out the door. "Wow... no kiss, no bye... nothing." I groaned, getting out of bed to go soak in the tub... guess I'll give myself aftercare.
3 hours had went by... the sky was getting dark and Hoseok hasn't sent me no text, not even a call. I tried texting him but I received nothing... my best plan was to text Yoongi.
My jaw almost dropped... but he and Jimin were married... so why was he here and Yoongi there? And 2 years?!
I sat up on the edge of the bed, I quickly went to text Jimin, maybe he could explain this! I sent him a message and paced around the room. While waiting I tried to call Hoseok but it went straight to voicemail, why was he ignoring me?
Also... where did he go during the day? He couldn't possible drive to Seoul then back to Gwanju every day... I was busy with college so I never had the chance to visit Yoongi but I see why it wouldn't happen.
3 more hours passed by... I had the tv on but it was watching me more I watched it. My phone had dinged, I saw the contact number and quickly opened the messaging app. It was Jimin... maybe he would have a answer for me.
I placed my phone on the bed... I felt my eye twitching... I was so close to screaming my head off. Like what the fuck is 'oh?'
"Arghh! I swear this shit is dumb... why can't I get a single answer?" My phone dinged again.. then again, I checked and saw Namjoon texting me. He rarely spoke mainly cause he was super busy, he sent me a location and told me we needed to speak.
I felt the urgency in his text so I threw on a hoodie over some grey leggings, I drove to the restaurant that looked very nice to just have a 'talk.' I got out to look around, I didn't spot the tall buff man anywhere until I heard my name being called "Kolbie! Hey... damn you got here before me." I crossed my arms and he froze a bit.
"I have questions Namjoon!" He nodded stiffly. "And I definitely have answers... the right ones." h
He led me into the restaurant, we got a table on the balcony. He had me sit where I could see everyone else and his back were to them, he made sure I kept a mask over my face.
"Why do we have to hide?" He looked around then back to me, "I had got a text from Yoongi hyung... he told me you asked about Hoseok's location." I nodded, "Yeah.. he randomly left me earlier and didn't tell me nothing." He rubbed his forehead before speaking in a hushed tone, "Well Yoongi is right... he had some family troubles so he has to be in Daegu for some months." I listened while I kept the menu up to my chest. "Then why aren't you in Seoul?"
He sighed, taking a sip of the complimentary wine, "Since it's mainly Yoongi's studio then I have no reason to be there if he isn't... so I came back to Gwanju for some mini vacation time." I hummed, my eyes kept peeking over at a couple not to far away. The woman was in my view, she looked too familiar, I heard Namjoon grunting and shaking his head. "What?" He scratched the side of his neck "Keep your focus on me for now... now ask all your questions." I definitely had some new ones entering my mind but I pushed them back.
"Okay... for these past 2 years... where did Hoseok go when he told me the studio?" He tilted his head with wide eyes, "Sometimes I forget you have a psych degree... jeez these questions gonna be tough." I glared stop him. "Just answer the damn question..." he nodded. "He didn't go to Seoul of course... he would go see someone.." I leaned back trying my best not to grip the menu any tighter, "Seeing someone huh? Ha okay!"
"Well... have you heard of a SunMi with a 8 month old boy?" He coughed as he tried to drink the water, he patted his chest while I kept my glare on him. "How do you know her? Wait actually describe her.." I rolled my eyes. "Pretty short, slim-ish, the body of postpartum still, mid length black hair... eyes a bit wider than Hoseok's... the baby had his almond shaped ones." Namjoon sat still for a second, his hand rubbing his chin.
"Random question uh... did she have the baby in a beige sweater?" My eyes widen, I nodded furiously. "Yeah! He was super chubby and cute... wrapped in the sweater, looked like something you could wear any season." He gulped down the water, slamming the glass down... thankfully it didn't shatter. "You spoke... please don't tell me you spoke to her?" I groaned, "I wouldn't know her name if I didn't... I had saw Hoseok walk in with a baby bottle... saying it was his 'friend.' Namjoon couldn't believe what I was saying, he almost look horrified as I explained the whole situation.
"He's such a dumbass... Kolbie you don't understand how..." he couldn't finish his sentence as a baby cries got loud, a sweet woman's voice tried to calm the child down. I looked over and there she was... SunMi and her sweater covered baby crying, poor thing face was turning red and right across from them was a man who tried to help. "Kolbie... please forgive me okay." I questioned him as he pulled out his phone, I saw him calling a number.
The man's phone across the balcony ringed, he picked up when the caller on Joon's phone did... My brows furrowed more. Namjoon turned his phone to me... the menu in my hands dropping, knocking the wine glass to the ground. The sound caught a few people attention... especially the little 'family' across from us, I felt the anger growing in me as I slowly stood up. "Sit down! It's not worth it Kolbie please..."
I walked over to the table and saw the duo widen their eyes, "Well hello... how's your little date?" SunMi chuckled as she jumped the baby. "Oh... uhm it's good. Why are you here?" I chuckled. "I could ask you the same.... Hoseok." He stood up and grabbed my arm, I removed my arm out his hold. "We can talk here... so this is where you ran off too?"
He gritted in my ear but I pushed myself away. "Nah I wanna know what you and your friend doing here? What happened to our time huh?!" SunMi stood up with the baby looking between us. "Why do you keep calling me his friend?" I looked over to her, "Because he said you're his friend... aren't you?" She shook her head then lifted her left hand. "Hehe I'm his fiancée! We've been together for 6 years, engaged for a year." I could hear Namjoon make a weird noise, while Hoseok bit his fist.
"6 years.... engaged... the.. the baby?" She nodded, "It's our son Ji-Hoon or JiJi!" I laughed sarcastically at Hoseok who wouldn't look at me. "You got a whole other woman and a baby! I thought I was ya girlfriend... what was I?" He looked at me, He went to SunMi and tried to lead her out. "Imagining! So for 4 years... you being at my house, with your clothes in it, eating together, showering together and this is what I receive!"
He ignored me as he lead her to his car, I pulled him back. "I know you fucking hear me!" He rolled his eyes. I spun a circle before looking back at him.
"Namjoon ain't my man! You are... well were since you been cheating on that bitch with me then cheated on me with her ass! How that work?!" He rubbed his forehead.
I looked at Namjoon but he turned away, "So I was just gonna be ya sex doll for the night? Then why you kept this shit going? 4 fucking years Hoseok! Not 4 hours or 4 days!" He put his hands on his hips.

8 179HUD: Wargame (Sci-Fi GameLit)
★★★★★UNFRIGGENBELIEVABLE!!!!!! "HUD: Wargame is a sci-fi GameLit worth reading." -TienSwitch ★★★★★Rock-solid FPS GameLit. "Nic - the main character - is an ambitious, hyper-competitive perfectionist, and the story fortunately handles him correctly in that it does not push these traits too far." -Akaso ★★★★★This is a good one! "This is one of those stories where you read the first few paragraphs and can just tell that the author has the chops to tell a story. It's engaging and the rules are well thought out and clearly explained. The action is punchy and exciting. Anyway, read it." -HonourRae In the future, everything is a game. Even war. 18-year-old Nic Sigfried wants the high score. Virtually piloting a real-life robot, he'll face off against his peers with the help of his AI guidance system, RTIFIS. The prize? New worlds across the galaxy that are ripe for human conquest and terraforming. It sounds glamorous on paper, but this job might be more dangerous than he thought... HUD: Wargame is the first of a five-part sci-fi series featuring GameLit elements. HUD: Wargame contains some (simulated) violence and very sparing PG-13 profanity. Updates Monday-Thursday-Saturday.
