Chapter 8
I basically run away from her place. I know we're not together and I know that she has the chance to date someone else, and that a relationship with me would be difficult, but I really thought we had something.
As much as I know I shouldn't feel hurt, I can't shake the feeling.
I soon hear my phone ringing, and there's no question, it's her. I'm just not ready to talk yet, maybe now I know how she feels about Bex and TJ.
I walk into the house, and Ian and Nash are chillin' playing a video game and watching the Green Day replay from I Heart Radio on YouTube.
Ian is still pretty upset about what he did, while Nash thinks it's pretty hysterical.
I on the other hand am with Ian on this one. I think it's highly unprofessional and it never should've happened.
"Hey, guys. I'm going to bed, I'll see you tomorrow." I announce, as I trudge up the stairs.
I sit down on my bed, and take out my song book. Sounds kinda girly, huh? Whatever, it's a good way to get my ideas down. I have lines that I think would be good for songs written in here, I have quotes, and even full songs.
I know exactly what I wanna write tonight, and the lyrics just flow so easy;

I begin, but am interrupted by Jamie.
"Hey, Ry, what's wrong? I could tell just by the way you walked in here something was wrong."
"Just girl troubles I guess." I say, running my hand through my hair.
"Girl troubles, huh? What's up?" He asks, plopping down on my bed. "So, what happened with Miss Hanna?"
"Well, since we got home early, I was gonna surprise her tonight, and I was actually going to tell her how I feel! You know how hard that is for me?! I mean, I've never had trouble talking to a girl! But she's - she's different, Jamie."
"I know. I can just tell by the way you look at her. So tell me, what happened to ruin your perfect surprise?"
"I walked into her house, and she - she was on the couch with another guy." I say, sounding hurt.
"Hmm, I see. So do you know who this guy was? Recognize him at all?" Jamie asks calmly.
"No, Jamie, I don't recognize him!" I snap. Shoot, he's only trying to be a good brother. "Sorry, I didn't mean to snap like that."
"It's fine. Is there anything else you wanna talk about?"
"No thanks, Jamie."
"Okay, just know, I'm always here for you. And everything will work out in the end, don't worry." He says, and leaves the room. If only he's right.
I sit on my bed thinking of the sight of Hanna with another guy, and immediately go back to writing.
