《Why Dont You Love Me?》Chapter 9

"Megan!" Jamie yelled across the limo. It's been about an hour since we left the house and we had hit downtown traffic.

"Megan!" I heard again. I couldnt take my eyes off of Ryan's beautiful face. His chest rose up and down slowly, and his eyes were fluttering. He was probably dreaming intensely about something. He was asleep so staring at him wasnt too bad. Except for the fact Jamie, Nash and Ian were still awake.

"Megan?" Nash's voice asked. "Megan, if you stare any harder, you'll burn holes."

"Huh?" I finally snapped out of my day dream and looked at them. My cheeks flushed a bit. "Oh! Sorry.. I uhm.. I.."

"It's okay!" Nash laughed. "We just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong."

"Oh! Hah! Nothing's wrong. I'm chill. Like ice cream. On a hot summer's day."

"But.. Doesnt that mean you'd melt..?" Jamie asked with a hint of confusion.

"ANYWAYS." I said with a nervous laugh.I looked around at the three faces. Ian had a smirk on his face, Jamie looked confused and Nash well.. Nash was trying to figure something out.

"Why are you smirking?" I asked Ian. Ian slowly smiled and looked at me.

"You like Ryan." He said accusingly. My mouth dropped open as my cheeks flushed even more than they already were.

"I do not." I said with a roll of my eyes.

"Dont even try to lie, Megan!" Ian laughed. "It's obvious!!"

I smiled a bit to myself before looking up at Ian.

"Look," He said. "If you like him, that's great! But can I ask you something?"

"Anything!" I replied.

"Do you like him for him? Or do you like him because he's in Hot Chelle Rae?"

"I like him for him. Whether he's in a band or not, I like him. At first, it was just some silly crush on a boy who didnt even know my name and I was just a face in the crowd. Another fan. But now that i've gotten to know him. It's different. Truely and completely different. I've gotten to know the real Ryan Follese'. He's everything I thought he would be as well. He's charming, nice, funny and sweet. He's everything I ever wanted in a guy. And not only that, he cares. He's proven to me countless times that love does exsist, and that I am pretty. Sure, I'm only 19 and he's 25. But what is age other than a number and a difference between maturity?"

A smile grew upon all of the boys faces as they exchanged looks. Nash nodded once then turned to look at me.

"Okay, one more question." Nash said.

"What?"

"Where are the girls like you and where can I find them and why does Ryan always get the good ones?! First Morgan. Now Megan. And they all start with M's! Maybe I should change my name to Rash Foverstreet.."

I couldnt help but to crack up laughing at Nash's statement. Rash Foverstreet.. Wow. I giggled and laughed some more.

"What?" He said with a shrug. "I'm serious!"

I smiled as I patted his knee. "You're insane, Nash." I smiled. He smiled back and chuckled.

"Wouldnt that just be combining yours and Ryan's name like a couple?" Jamie asked with a smirk. Ian erupted into laughter before poking Nash and mocking.

"He got youuu!"

"Shut up. And no! Fine, my new name will be Chord. I will be blonde, on Glee, and cute. Just without the trout mouth." Nash gained an innocent smile over his face as he talked about his younger brother. Chord Overstreet; the second hottest man alive next to Ryan.

I looked out of the window as the limo came to a stop. The building was tall, and kind of old looking.

"This doesn't look like a regular radio station." Ian said. I took a deep breath in before exhaling. Jamie woke Ryan up a few minutes later. He groaned a bit before rubbing his eys and looking out of the window.

"Where are we?" He asked groggily.

"Uhh.. Apparently a radio station?" Jamie replied. Ryan's eyebrows creased together a bit and we all stared out of the window. Radio station my ass. I opened the door and stepped out. My heel clicked against the cement as I stepped forward to allow the rest of the gang to get out of the car. A small boy around my age walked out of the building and over to us.

"Hey guys!" He said with a smile.

"Hey Cam!" They all said in unison. Cam, as they called him, looked over at me and raised an eyebrow.

"Another girl? Whose is she this time?" Cam's eyebrow raised a bit. I tried to keep the hurt off my face but I couldnt. I couldnt stop the single tear from streaming down my cheek.

"Cameron." Ryan said almost sternly. "That was really uncalled for and rude. She's not just another girl. She's our friend. And her name is Megan and she's here with us." Ryan wrapped his arm around me in a comforting way. I leaned against him a bit and looked at Cameron.

Cameron's cheeks turned a bit red as he turned to face me. "Sorry."

I smiled a bit at him then nodded. My arm wrapped around Ryan's waist as he led us into the building. I heard Ian snicker behind me, but I didnt say anything. Instead, I just smiled to myself and walked beside Ryan. We walked up what felt like three flights of stairs but in these heels, it felt like five.

Cameron led us down a long, narrow hallway. It was filled with photos of older celebrities holding awards and albums, which I'm guessing was their own. The hallway was dark, and kind of creepy. It kind of started to make second guess that this was actually a radio station and not a crack house for the crackheads.

Cameron stopped at one of the doors then turned to face us. "Here we are!!"

He opened the door and to our surprise, laughter and music came out of the room. Nash walked in then followed Ian, Ryan and I, then Jamie and Cameron. The room was big, bright and completely different from the hall we just walked down. An older women, blonde with big blue eyes walked over to us first.

"You must be Hot Chelle Rae!" She said happily. "I'm Marie! Nice to meet you! Sorry if the place scared you, we're renovating."

Marie led the boys to the small radio room. Cameron and myself sat down on one of the couch in the lobby area. I leaned back into the sofa, crossed my legs and pulled my phone out. Cameron didnt really say much, he was kind of awkward, truth be told. I took a deep breath in and got onto twitter. I scrolled down my time line, and held my breath as I read all my friend's tweets. They all seemed to have forgotten about me. Which isn't surprising, but it still hurt to know people I have grown up with probably dont even care I'm gone. I sighed quietly until I got to my friend Aubrey's tweet to Liz and I thought my eyes we're going to bulge out of my head.

"You okay?" Cameron's voice broke through my thoughts.

"Huh? Oh! Uhm, I'm okay." I nodded a bit before looking at him.

"You look like youre in shock." He said with a chuckle. I laughed a bit before smiling. He smiled back and scooted a bit closer to me.

"I'm really sorry for what I said earlier. I know it was rude, and completely jerky for me to say, and I just want to apologize."

"It's okay." I replied back with a nod.

"No, its not."

"Yes," I laughed. "It is! Trust me, people have said meaner things to me. It's okay, Cameron. Really."

Cameron smiled before hugging me quickly then letting go.

"So! How'd you meet the boys?" He asked after a few minutes.

"I uhh.. Met Ryan and Jamie's dad at the airport and he kind of talked me into staying with him at his house."

"Mr. Follese'?" Cameron asked confused. I just nodded and pursed my lips a bit.

"You must be one lucky girl, Megan." He smiled. I let out a soft giggle and nodded.

"I kind of am. I kind of am not." I shrugged. "How'd you meet them?"

"Grew up with Jamie.. and Ryan. Mostly Jamie since he's my age, just a year older."

I smiled at him. His light brown eyes smiled back as the corners of his mouth went up. He had soft, dark brown hair and deep caramel colored eyes. He was on the short but skinny side and was very sweet and welcoming. I couldnt help but to let him in, just like I let everyone else in. I'm starting to trust way too easily again. I noticed it last night. To me, this isnt good. I dont want to trust anyone or let anyone in for that matter. All I'm doing is setting myself up for hurt. I took a deep breath in then looked down at my knees.

I looked up at the time and no sooner than I did my stomach let out a huge gurgle.

"Hungry?" Cameron asked.

"Yeah, a little bit."

"They should be done soon! I heard you and RK are going out on a date."

"It's not a date," I replied with a giggle. I shook my head a bit then pursed my lips and nodding sternly.

"Oh, then what is it?"

"Just two friends, going out, eating and hopefully having fun." I said. Cameron laughed and nodding.

"Alright, whatever you say. Just know, RK hasn't been out on a date in 3 years. So treat him good and dont hurt him or else you and I will have some problems, okay?"

I smiled hugely then giggled and nodded. "I will."
