"Hunter I want ice cream!" Cath screamed.

"Tell the big baby to stop screaming." Jude huffed and crossed his arms.

Hunter looked down at 8 year old Cath and 13 year old Jude, "Sorry kiddos, it's too late for - "

"I'm gonna be late if we don't leave now. Where's mom and dad?" Jude stared back up at Hunter.

"We're here sweetie. We'll take him to the school so that he can get into costume." Hunter's mom, June, looked between Hunter and I.

"You kids have a few hours to kill." John winked and clapped Hunter on the back.

"Geez dad, can you stop please? It's been how many years now?" Hunter groaned.

"Not enough, son." John laughed as he took Cath's hand and left their house.

"Ignore John. We'll see you two soon. Your family will be there too, right Em?"

"Yes ma'am. Mom, Paul, Skylar, dad, Jade, little Hannah." I smiled.

"Oh gosh no." Hunter mumbled.

I whipped my head towards him, "And why that now?"

"Huh?" Hunter looked up at me embarrassed.

"I'm watching you." I squinted my eyes and did the gesture with my fingers too.

"We're just going to buy Jude a gift and then we'll be at the school." I mentioned to June as she left incase she needed one of us.

"You ready?" Hunter looked down at me and took my hand in his.

"Always." I smiled back.

"Look at Jude!" My mom gushed. "The acting bug has definitely bitten him."

"Runs in the family." Hunter's dad joked.

"No one runs in the family, John." June laughed and smiled up at her husband, earning a scowl from him.

"And we sure don't act." Hunter joked which earned him a glare from his father as well.

"Well he sure was brilliant." Jade said as she stepped away from the phone showing the picture of Jude.

"How long till the 'man of the hour' is back?" Cath joked, which Hannah agreed with by high fiving her. The couple months age gap had brought the two very close.

"Hannah that's not very nice." My dad looked down at his youngest.

"Cath said it. Not me, daddy." She smiled innocently up at him and I could see the frustration disappear.

"Wrapped around her finer." Jade shook her head.

My mom laughed heartily, "Exact same as with this one." She gestured with a thumb towards me.

"And she has these two over here wrapped around her finger too." Hunter's mom pointed to Hunter and his dad.

I raised to hands in defense, "What can I say? I'm charming."

"No, you're a good babysitter." John countered.

"Hey!" I frowned.

"Don't listen to my dad, you're irresistible." Hunter joked and pulled me closer to him.

"That you are." I looked down to my opposite side and saw Jude trying to wrap an arm around my waist.

"Easy tiger." Hunter looked down at his brother and shoved Jude's hand off of me.

"Sorry bud but I've only got eyes for one Maddox." I ruffled his still curly hair and smiled at Hunter. Everyone laughed.

"Well now that he has arrived, we can finally go get everyone that ice cream we promised." John announced.

In an instant, Cath and Hannah were sprinting towards the car and Jude rolled his eyes but I could see the child like gleam in them.

"Sorry Skylar and Paul couldn't make it." I handed him a small present along with a slightly bigger one. "There's just a little something from them to apologize and something from Hunter and I too. You were a star up there, Jude."

"Thanks Emilia." Jude gave me a quick hug before running off to where Cath and Hannah had gone.

"Well we'll see you all tomorrow morning. Emilia and I wanted to go for a quick supper." Hunter announced.

We got a round of goodbyes and enjoys before we left. Even a wink from my dad and Hunter's. I smiled back at my family and waved.

"Dinner was lovely, thank you Hunter." I said as I walked towards his car. "You spoil me too much."

"Anything for my beautiful girl. You've been working so hard recently and I haven't been able to take you out as often as I would like. So I thought this might be a good excuse." He smiled as he swung our hands.

"I love you, Hunter." I stopped and turned towards him to give him a quick kiss.

"I love you too." He kissed me back and when he pulled back, he saw something over my shoulder that made his eyes shine with mischief.

"What are you thinking, Mr Maddox?"

He spun me around and pointed to a box just outside the restaurant, "I'm thinking that we go into that photo booth and take the most cliché couple photos ever."

"I'm thinking that that is a brilliant idea." I pulled Hunter towards the booth and sat down excitedly.

"So what should we do?" I asked as Hunter fed the machine a note.

Hunter looked down at the panel where all the buttons were, "We've got five pictures and I know just what to do. Just roll with it okay?"

"Okay?" I laughed as Hunter pressed the button.

A short count down began and before I even knew what to do, Hunter was leaning by the edge of his seat and pulling something out. I watched him carefully as he pulled out what seemed to be paper. A flash went off.

Hunter turned to me, smiled and then faced the camera holding the sign towards it. So I was facing the screen as well to read what was on these boards. The flash went off as my eyes widened and my hands were covering my mouth.

"Marry me, Em?" Hunter was looking at me when I faced him again. And in his hands was a gorgeous velvet box, holding a dainty silver engagement ring.

I couldn't even speak so I nodded my head. More tears filled my eyes as Hunter slipped on the ring. It fitted perfectly.

I grabbed Hunter's face and kissed him, "I know I've said it before but I can't tell you how much I love you, Hunt."

"I love you too, sweetheart." He whispered as he leaned my head against his.

We stayed like that for a few moments before Hunter pulled back slightly, "I do believe we should check these photos out."

I had completely forgotten we were still in a photo booth. I jumped up, almost knocking my head and run out the booth to where you collected your pictures.

There was a strip of the most precious photos I had ever seen.

The first one showed me looking ridiculously confused at Hunter who leaned over, the edges of paper just sticking out. The next was of Hunter holding the board saying "Will you marry me, Emilia?" in big black letters and underneath it, it read: "Yes, I got your parents' approval already." My hands were covering my mouth and you could see a few tears, that made me laugh and then I looked at the third picture. It was of Hunter slipping the ring onto my finger and I was staring at it in absolute aw. The fourth was of me holding Hunt's face in my hands as I kissed him, my ring clearly on show. And the last was of us simply staring into each other's eyes, our foreheads resting against each other.

"My gosh, Hunt." I breathed out. My eyes kept flickering between my stunning ring, the photos and the adorable sign board Hunter still held.

"I hate that I'm being so cliché but you've just made me the happiest man alive." Hunter smiled.

"I can't even tell you how much I love you, Hunt. You make everything so much better."

As we walked hand in hand, both of us giddy from the type of happiness we couldn't explain, I knew that life could only get better. And if I faced any troubles. At least I knew I had Hunter."

I could see from the corner of my eyes that Hunter wanted to say something, "Just say it."

He laughed and then looked down at me, "I didn't want to be more cliché but I'm just gonna say it because it's true but Emilia Maddox sounds so much fucking better than Emilia Anderson."

I laughed and we went home. Hand in hand.
