《The Bad Boy Is A Virgin》Chapter 17: Don't Ever Touch Me Again

"Hunt?"
I opened the door of my room and saw him sleeping so I closed the door and sat on his back, straddling him. He turned around but I did not move. He rubbed his eyes with his arm and looked at me.
He had an extremely husky morning voice, "Good morning, sweetheart."
"Jake invited us to lunch with a couple other of my friends if you wanna come?"
"Of course I'm coming. You think I'm leaving you alone with him?" His laugh was even more intoxicating and his hands were holding onto the back of my thighs.
"We won't be alone - "
"He will try to get you alone. Been there, done that."
"Didn't get the t-shirt?" I joked.
Hunter laughed sarcastically, "Where is it and what time do we have to be there?"
"Well it's at Jake's house and any time around 1. Expect... Never mind."
Hunter sat up and I remained in his lap, "What is it, sweetheart?"
"Jake said I could come earlier. Alone."
"See?" He raised an eyebrow, "He's trying to get you alone. But I'll also come early then. Tell him I didn't know where to go and we only have 1 car."
"My mom has a car." I stared at him.
"And she needs to use it too..." He was really sarcastic this morning.
"If you insist." I answered crossing my arms.
Unfortunately, I forgot to put a bra on under my pajama shirt so Hunter was enjoying this.
"Okay, entertainment is over." I uncrossed my arms and got off the bed. "Just letting you know. It's 11 and we have to be there in an hour."
"Thank goodness you don't wake me up in the mornings."

Hunter was ready earlier than I expected him to be.

"Mel?" Hunter was getting comfortable with using my mom's name.
"Yes, dear?" Mom came out the kitchen wiping her hands on a cloth.
"I just wanted to let you know that Em and I are going for lunch at Jake's house."
"Oh! Thank you for telling me." She then leaned closer and whispered something to Hunter which made him smile, I couldn't hear from where I am.
"Hi! Yes. Hello, I am still here." I waved.
"Stop being so dramatic, Em. Now, you two go and have fun."
"Bye mom!" I kissed her cheek, grabbed my bag then Hunter and I left.
-
"Hi Emilia. Thanks for - " Jake stopped short when he saw Hunter, "You brought him?"
"Yes. She brought me. How are you?" Hunter spoke.
Jake looked taken aback by Hunter's bluntness, "Good. Please come in."
"How are your parents?" I asked trying to ease the tension.
"Oh... Umm..." Jake was distracted.
I wasn't sure why until I realized that Hunter's hand was going lower from where it was resting on my back. So I hit Hunter's hand and he left it on the small of my back.
"Would you like to sit?" Jake was staring at Hunter while he spoke.
I took a seat on the couch and Hunter sat next to me before Jake could. Hunter then hooked his arm around my shoulder and I absent mindlessly played with his hand.
"So you two know each other for a while?" Hunter asked Jake.
"Yeah. Practically grew up with Em." Jake was bragging, "It's convenient having a cousin with good looking friends."
Hunter laughed but I could tell it was forced, "I know what you mean. I also find it very convenient to having a good looking roommate."

Jake smiled. The two were trying to brag but failing.
"You know I could - " I tried talking to stop the awkwardness that followed us through the door.
"So, Hunter?" Jake spoke but before he could say the next sentence, Hunter interrupted him and looked at me.
"You were saying something, sweetheart?"
I was shocked at Hunter's politeness, he always interrupted, "Oh no, that's okay. You two can finish talking, I'm just going to get something to drink."
"Me too." Jake got up following me.
"I could also help." Hunter offered while getting up.
I stopped him before he stood, warning him with my eyes that I was fine, "That's okay. Want anything?"
"I'll just have a beer, if there is."
Once I was alone in the kitchen Jake turned to me.
"He seems like fun to live with."
I laughed, "He's a handful sometimes but he's good company."
Jake watched me, "Have you two done anything we didn't?"
I turned and looked at him, "Are you jealous? Because we were over long ago."
"I know," he put his hand to his forehead, "It's just that, I believe in second chances. And I believe that I deserve one."
He looked stupid and cowardly but I knew how arrogant and harsh he could be.
"Jake. You know I couldn't - "
"Wouldn't." He interrupted but I carried on as if he didn't.
"I don't want to be with someone who doesn't think rationally sober or drunk."
"You're blaming me for hooking up with Ashley?"
"Well it does take two to tango."
"But I was drunk."
"That's sure an original excuse." I argued.
"Come on, Em." He took both my hands in his and looked at me hopefully, "I know I've said awful things to you and I 'cheated' on you."
"Don't inverted comma me. You did cheat. More than once so you couldn't have been drunk each time and with Ashley? Out of all the girls - "
"Enough!" Jake hit his hands on the counter, I could see the flames behind his eyes. It kept me quiet. "I loved you and I never meant to hurt you but now you bring this... This... Guy into my house uninvited?" He pointed towards the lounge where I assumed Hunter was still sitting.
I swallowed before speaking softly, "I promised myself that if I was ever cheated on I would leave that person. I only remained friend with you because of Sky but I realized I don't need to do that."
Before I knew what was happening Jake had his hands on my ass and he was kissing me. I tried pushing him away but he didn't move so I kneed him in the crown jewels. He moved back but came after me again. This time Hunter came behind him and pulled him off me. I raised my fist and hit Jake's jaw.
"I took boxing for a reason, asshole. Don't ever touch me again."
I turned and Hunter stared at me in amazement through his anger. We left Jake in the kitchen and left his house.
"Remind me to never get on your bad side." He laughed.
"Just don't kiss me if I don't want to be kissed and you won't have to. Asshole thinks it's okay to cheat on me. I'm calling the others to come to my house so you can still meet them."
"You are amazing, sweetheart." He kissed my forehead and then drove to my house.
