《Trouble In Paradise?》Chapter Ten

Then someone tapped me on the shoulder, the presence being very close behind me.
I spun around, ready to kick someone where the sun doesn't shine, if you know what I mean.
I sighed with relief when I realised that it was just Jordan, being an idiot. I got out of my Kung fu stance to look at him with my eyebrows raised.
"Way to be creepy," I joked.
He shrugged. "This party is full of people, it's easy to sneak up on someone."
I narrowed my eyes and then I noticed Blake standing behind him, grinning.
"So where's the other two? Wait, let me take a wild guess, drinking and breaking girls hearts," I snorted.
The boys shrugged and nodded. "Pretty much," they said at the same time.
"Well, I'm off to my room to contemplate what I'm doing with my life, see you later," I said, turning around but they both crushed me when they stood right next to me, their muscles and height making me look puny.
I raised an eyebrow. "What are you? My bodyguards?"
"Yes, and this party is pretty shit. Can we hang in your room?" Blake asked, wearing a pouty face.
I scrunched my nose up in confusion but I didn't question them. "Alright, as long as you don't kidnap and kill me."
They grinned as they followed me upstairs, while I was left questioning as to why.
Then, a thought hit me. All this time, I've been questioning as to why Blake and Jordan actually socialised with me. Why would two of the hottest boys in school, want to hang out with me?
But what if, they actually wanted to be friends?
It was possible, I mean why else would they try to talk and hang out with me? Isn't that something you do when you want to become closer, or become friends, with each other?
I shook those thoughts out of my head, but I held a small smile on my lips. I really haven't had anyone that actually tried to be friends with me. Every time I wanted friends, I would chase them until when we finally became 'friends', they would just ditch me.
Maybe I could be friends with Blake and Jordan. I do, despite what they did when they first met me, think they're pretty cool and actually like them. In a friend way, of course.
When we got to my room, I quickly ushered them in before closing the door, blocking little of the loud music and cheering from the party goers around us.
"Welcome to my evil lair, beware the closet, that's where I keep the bodies," I welcomed them in a dramatic voice.
Jordan rolled his eyes. "What a warm welcome."
"It's what I do."
They walked around my plain room. There wasn't much in it, mostly just my white books shelves full of books and my black and white double bed. They wandered around, looking at the books and little amount of photos that I had in my room. The photos were mostly of scenery and nature. There was a TV plus a game console with a few different games that I like to play when I'm bored.

"What a boring room," Blake snorted.
"I tried my hardest to disappoint you," I replied, scoffing.
I sat down on my bed and watched them wander around. Never would I have thought that I would be in this situation. Two attractive guys exploring my room while my asshole cousin was having a party downstairs.
Funny how things turn out.
"So.. what do you want to do?"
"How about spin the bottle?" Jordan asked suggestively, wiggling his eyebrows.
"And what happens if you spin it and it lands on Blake?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. He gulped, shaking his head.
"Never mind," he said, a pure look of horror and disgust on his face that almost made me laugh out loud.
Then, Blake turned around from where he had been looking at my bookshelf and my desk that's full of mostly junk.
He was holding a box, a box that was decorated with red, blue, yellow and green spots.
"How about we play Twister?"
>
"This was a bad idea."
We were currently playing Twister on the floor of my room while a raging party was going on downstairs.
Jordan was bent over like a dog, his hands and legs on different colours. Blake was reaching over the whole mat, his leg having to stay on one side of the mat while his hand had to go to the other side.
I was in a crouching position, my hands having to reach over to the spots far in front of me.
It was very, very uncomfortable and tiring to be in these positions for so long. We had been playing for half an hour and no one had won yet, we just kept on spinning and changing our positions, nearly falling over every time.
"My muscles hurt," Blake whined.
"Aren't you meant to be the popular guys with abs and strong muscles?" I snorted.
"We should save our strength for more important things," Jordan complained, trying to move but groaning in the end.
"You agreed to this game."
"Well, I regret my decision."
I rolled my eyes and spun the spinner for Blake. It landed on right hand green, which meant Blake would have to reach under Jordan to get to it, all the way on the other side of the mat.
He sighed in exasperation and slumped on the ground. "I give up."
I rolled my eyes again and gave Jordan a challenging look. "It's on."
"Oh yeah," he agreed, giving me an equally challenging look.
We played for about ten more minutes, and my muscles were aching and burning under the pressure of holding myself up in these positions for so long.
Blake groaned. "This game has gone on for too long, it's a tie," he said, pushing us over and knocking us both to the ground. We glared at Blake but sighed with relief when we could actually lie down and rest.
That was my workout for the day.

The party was still raging downstairs, the music still as loud as it had been all night.
"Wanna play Call of Duty?" I asked, bored out of my mind now that we had stopped playing Twister.
They shrugged. "Sure, but you'll get destroyed," Blake commented.
I grinned evilly. "I will be the destroyer. You will be the destroyed. Let's play."
I set up the game and put the disk in. I handed them controllers and the game started, the sounds of yelling and shooting just being able to be heard while the music was playing downstairs.
After about five minutes, the game ended with the End of Round Kill Cam showing me shooting Jordan right in the head.
I pumped my fists in the air. "Victory is mine!"
They slumped on the floor. "How did you beat me?" Blake whined.
"Pure talent and strategy, my friend," I grinned triumphantly, very tempted to get up and do my own victory dance.
"Unfair."
"Not really, you're just sore losers," I scoffed. "I should have made bets with you, might've actually won something."
We continued to play for another hour or so, them occasionally killing me and almost winning. As the night went on, they did get better and come close to beating me a few times. Luckily, I was too far in front most of the time.
The party had died down by now, most people having left. The music even stopped eventually. The cheering and yelling stopped, and soon enough everyone was gone when I went downstairs to look.
Christen wasn't in the house. I had checked his room and around for him, but he must have left with a girl or his friends. I internally groaned. He better be back by morning. If my mother came home to this mess, she would literally flip out on both of us even if I had nothing to do with it.
After Blake and Jordan helped me kick out anyone who had either passed out or was too drunk to walk, the house was empty except for us three.
I sighed, looking around at the mess. There was rubbish and broken bottles everywhere. There were mysterious liquids on the floor, that I really didn't want to investigate, and crumbs of food scattered around the tables and chairs.
Basically, it was a huge mess and it smelt worse than Christen did on a daily basis, and let me tell you, that's definitely saying something. That boy wouldn't know what deodorant was if it hit him in the face and said he smelt.
"Do you need helping cleaning up?" Jordan asked, looking around with a face that looked like he was about to gag, throw up or do both.
I wrinkled my nose, the smell getting to me too. "I should probably let Christen clean up his own mess. Thanks for the offer though," I told him. He nodded in understanding.
They headed towards the door and I followed, opening it up for them. They stepped outside. "Thanks for letting us hang with you, it was actually fun," Blake said.
I dropped my jaw in mock horror. "Are you saying I'm not fun? I'm offended," I mocked him.
He grinned. "Seriously though, we should do it again," Jordan said, smiling.
I nodded. "Yeah, we should."
I genuinely had fun with the boys tonight. They made me laugh, smile and groan occasionally. I actually hope that they consider me their friends, since I kind of consider them as my friends.
"See you later, S," Blake said, winking and walking to the car. Jordan just rolled his eyes and waved as I saw their car reverse and drive down the street. I shut the door, the bad smell engulfing me immediately.
I looked around at the mess again, groaning.
This was going to be one hell of a cleanup for Christen to do in the morning.
>
Monday morning.
What the hell.
Honestly, why is Monday even a thing. No one likes Mondays, Monday should just leave honestly.
In fact, why can't we just have a longer weekend?
Anyone who wants a five day weekend say I.
I spent five minutes hating short weekends before I actually got out of bed and got ready for school.
When I went downstairs to make a fruit smoothie, I saw Christen sitting on the couch looking like he was contemplating life.
"What's wrong cuz," I snorted, mocking him.
He didn't say anything, he was just sitting there, thinking.
I rolled my eyes, making my banana smoothie quickly before grabbing my keys and phone.
I walked past him. "Have fun cleaning up buddy," I said, sticking my tongue out at him before walking out the door. It's his fault that the place is a mess, he can deal with the mess himself.
If he hasn't cleaned it all up by the time I get home, I'll probably be the nice one and help him clean up.
The school day was pretty boring, nothing having happened. I was just about to go to the library to spend my lunchtime reading, since Kaitlyn now spent her lunchtimes with Veronica, when two large, muscular bodies appeared next to me.
"What do you two want," I said, stopping to turn to Blake and Jordan.
"You're sitting with us at lunch today," they grinned, grabbing me, not too tight, and hauling me to the lunch room.
"No! I didn't agree to this!" I said, trying to wiggle out of their grasps but ultimately failing.
They pulled me towards the lunchroom. They just about yanked the doors open, creating a huge noise that directed everyone's attention to us.
They yanked me in the direction of the table that they were sitting at.
That they were sitting at.
Blake. Jordan. Ethan. Xavier.
Oh god.
