"Oh, quit the complaining it won't take long," he pushed the door opened. We entered his lab, and he let go of my wrist. "If you run, I'll make one of them grab you," he gestured to a pile of differently shaped Hollows. I scrunched up my nose in disgust. "Those are your Fraccions?" I asked, looking away from the pile, "They look like a mess."
"Excuse you," Szayel turned to me, "Those little things are useful," he approached me with a needle. A needle. My reflexes kicked in and I took a step back involuntarily. He noticed this, "Oh, you're afraid of needles?" he scoffed, "It won't hurt."
"I know it won't hurt, but I am not letting you inject stuff inside me," I took another step back away from him. He took two steps towards me, "Don't make me strap you onto a chair." I eyed the syringe, "What is that anyway?"
"Why should I explain it when you could experience it yourself?" he asked, smirking with pride.
"You talk big for someone who died under a minute," I fired at him.
He froze for a moment, "It wasn't under a minute." His tone changed and his arm shook, "You have no idea how long and agonizing it was." His amber eyes burned into my very soul.
I gulped, taking a few steps toward him, "F-Fine," I rolled up my sleeve, "Since I said that, you can stab me with that," I offered my arm to him, "What I said was dirty and personal, it shouldn't have been mentioned, go ahead," even though I despise someone, I knew there was a limit on where to strike them.
"Actually," he pushed my arm down, taking a step closer to me, "It has to be injected..." he tilted my head to the side and stabbed the needle into my neck, "Here." I gasped, nearly choked on air. His hands were quick, a minute later he was holding an empty syringe and looking at me.

I rubbed my neck, "You struck it there on purpose," feeling the mark throbbed in pain, "Jeez, I know you don't like Nnoitra but don't take it out on me."
He stood in front of me, hands behind his back, "Can you see me?" he asked. I blinked at him, "With you this close, any dumbass can see you," I replied.
He took a few steps back, "How about now?"
"That's not far, I can still see you."
He went further back. Then I noticed. He didn't become a blur. I blinked and cringed back. "What was that thing?" I squinted my eyes, finding it hard to believe my vision was recovered, somehow. Even though he was quite a distance, I could see the proud smirk on his features, "It works," he approached me, "But it'll wear off in a few hours."
"I hope it does," I muttered, "I liked wearing glasses. They're pretty fashionable." Szayel laughed. But not the scary type. More like the warm type. He looked over to me, "Even I find it fashionable," he fiddled with the glasses he had on. I smiled, shaking my head.
He went over to me and ran his hand through my hair, "What are you doing?" I asked him. "Fixing," he parted my hair to the side, styling it so it was similar to his. He took a few steps back, "That looks better," he turned his back to me, his hand shooing me away, "Run-off now, I don't need you at the moment."
"What was that experiment for?" I stood at his side, "As far as I'm concerned, I don't think you want to be an eye doctor," I muttered. He looked over to me, "Curious one, aren't you?" he walked over to his desk, "If I can cure someone's vision for a moment," he fiddled with some equipment on the table, "I can certainly do the opposite."

"Oh," I nodded, it made sense for someone like him wanting to blind some poor soul. "I'm gonna leave now," I turned on my heels and went to the door. I walked up the stairs of the dimly-lit hallway. I reached the end and pushed the door open, only to find myself back in his lab, "Right, what's all this then?"
He looked over to me, "Oh," he went over to what looked like a control panel, "I was fiddling with the halls a few moments ago." He turned to me, "Now you can go." I blinked at him, wanting to ask how the hell did the halls work. But I dismissed that thought and went back into the hallways. And I found my way out.
I stirred in my sleep, feeling a presence standing next to me. I slowly opened my eyes, my vision adjusting to the light of the room. I sat up in my groggy state. "Who's there?" my words slurred out as I reached for my glasses. I placed them on. But no difference. I cringed back, taking them off. I rubbed my eyes for a moment and placed it back on.
All was a blur as if the glasses weren't working anymore.
"Can you see?" I heard a familiar voice. "No, I can't anymore, you freak," I mumbled, blinking trying to look in general. "Ah," Szayel said, "I'm afraid those are the side effects." I grabbed what looked like to be his collar and pulled him down until I see his face clearly.
Which was inches away from my face, "Side effects?" I said, through my clenched teeth, "There were side effects?"
"It's only natural," he swatted my hand away, "I'm sure it'll wear off in a few hours," he paused, "Or perhaps in a few days." I tried to grab his collar again but I grabbed thin air instead. I saw blurred pink and my hand went to grab it. Szayel cried out in pain. I pulled him to me, "Doesn't it defeat the whole purpose, if the side effect is this?!" I slapped the side of his head.
I heard a thud, oh I underestimated my own strength.
