《Scars Of Regret | COMPLETED✔️》CHAPTER 7

______________
My head hurt again. But I had taken two Tylenol, before leaving for my job. Maybe I should really give this therapy a chance. These nightmares were getting too scary to feel all again.
I didn't know what happened suddenly. It was all good after I did laundry last night but my heartbeat was uneven. I knew I wasn't going to sleep soon so I took sleeping pills, but the nightmare was not what I usually had.
It was something else.
I was freaking shivering in sweat when I woke up in the middle of night. Then after that I couldn't sleep.
I told dad about my cafe job this morning. He reacted in a good way, said that it could help me to move on. That I wouldn't be sitting in my room thinking about my guilt anymore.
It was a beautiful morning today. I got a shower and dressed in dark teal jeans and a simple Grey t-shirt. It was not like I didn't like colors other than black, blue and Grey but it was just these colors were really comfortable to feel.
I did my hair half clipped and half loose. I didn't eat breakfast but i did eat some banana bread, before leaving the house or i would have feel nauseous again.
It was my first day of job and I didn't wanna be late. I got the bus this time thankfully after my athletic run. It was not crowded with people.
I sighed as I took a seat.
The cafe actually named after F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I saw it when I left that day. It was written in italic bold.
Central Perk
Good for me, I would get the vibe of the show all time. After ten minutes, the bus stopped and I got off. The cafe was just few steps from the stop.
The weather was clear but who knows it would start snowing next second. It was New York we were talking about.
My sneakers were so used they weren't even making a sound. It felt like I was bare foot.
I walked through people with fast footsteps, my light pink sling bag hanged crossed my shoulder, in which I have nothing, except my wallet and my phone.

I entered in the cafe with a sigh. Finn was behind the counter, making some coffee. He was in normal blue washed jeans and a white t-shirt.
Cool!
But there was a girl beside him today. She looked like a worker too. She was dealing with the cash counter. Her short Bob haircut was perfect with her small round face.
The cafe was so warm with the smell of cocoa and cupcakes.
I was hungry now.
I made my way to them as Finn looked up smiling at me.
"Hey, on time Aria," He said checking his watch on his wrist smiling before gave me an apron from back room. It was a simple black one.
"So you're Aria," The girl with short bob said turning to me as she dealt with her last customer.
I nodded my head with a little 'yes'.
I was not used to new people. It was just their judgemental stares which made me freak out. As if they were implying the crime of the past.
"I'm Lara, Finn told me about you joining today," She pointed at Finn with her chin. I looked at Finn to see him standing with a smile on his face, arms crossed on his chest. "You can start on coffee. It's usually more people on Monday from offices and work."
I did as she said. Finn was on machine 2, a little far from me but he did pass me smile here and there.
Lara was so sweet. The way she was dealing with customers was so cute. We talked during breaks. She told me she had to leave school because of some issues on which I didn't force her to reveal.
Everyone, somewhere in this ground is suffering from something. It was not just us, I thought.
By the Time it was mid day, we ran out of coffee beans but the day was still ahead. Customers were still here in line demanding their favorite coffee.
It was actually pretty crowded with customer here. There were not so many cafes around here maybe. Maybe girls came here cause of Finn too. He was no doubt Handsome.
I chuckled at my thought...
Finn told me that I would find the sack in the backroom. The cafe was small so I wouldn't have any trouble finding it.

He was busy making something else and lara was on cash counter busy.
I sighed as I turned around and went in the backroom. So far I was loving working here. At least I felt good after a long time.
°°°°°°
It was just yesterday I arrived and I was already hating this place. Dad didn't look a bit happy to see me. He just informed me about my senior year tomorrow when i went home. Mom seemed ecstatic on my arrival after so long. She engulfed me in a tight hug and wept on my shoulder, said how much she missed me.
No doubt i missed her too.
Everything was exactly the same in this gigantic mansion. The long beautiful lobby leading into this colossal lounge on my left. The mushroom colored walls with beautiful Chandler hanging in between, with this beautiful staircase on my right with the wall.
I never liked this all..
After visiting Beth's grave, my whole mind couldn't comprehend. I was in no mood to talk about anything, so I didn't do much and just went in my room.
I was glad that they listened and didn't try to modify anything about it.
My room with Dark Grey wall with light shade on the other three. My guitar still staring back at me from the corner of bed, rested with wall.
I didn't know if I would be playing anytime soon .
I didn't want to be at home for more than two hours today. So I just came out for a stroll and stumbled upon this cafe named,
Central Perk
It wasn't here a year ago. Maybe they opened while I was gone?
Well a year was a long time to start.I couldn't find any other cafe around here. So maybe this was it.
The bell chimed pleasantly above the door, as I entered. The vibe was mellow and safe and distinct sound of music can be heard.
I made my way to the front where a guy little taller and older than me and a short girl with short Bob were functioning behind the counter.
Was I here before?
There was some familiar feeling, I couldn't put my finger on.
I sneezed loudly and scrunched my nose because of cold I had since this morning.
I hate cold...
"Excuse me, can I have a cup of hot coffee please," My voice sounded sore rather than deep.
The girl looked up and grinned like a Cheshire cat when I scrunched my nose again. "Sure, anything else sir?" I shook my head slightly.
The guy was actively engaged with the bills on the cash counter. As my eyes drifted, I couldn't catch what was perturbing me.
The girl returned with my coffee with a sheepish grin. I took it from her ineptly and paid for it.
I exited the cafe and muffled my coat tighter around my body and held coffee with other hand. But that strange affection was still in here.
What the hell was going on?
°°°°°°
I returned to the front of the cafe. There was ample space by now, as the counter was free. Finn must've gone somewhere so it was just me and Lara who___was somehow couldn't stop staring at the door.
Was she starstruck or something?
I cleared my throat to gain her attention to which she came out of her zone.
There was this small smile on her face. Her cheeks were freaking flushed crimson.
She was blushing!!
"You okay?" She blinked twice to me.
"Yeah it was just this handsome boy, with dark black hair, doe eyes." She explained delightfully. "Oh my God Aria he was so handsome, he was wearing earring too and I even saw some tats on his right hand."
What did she just say?
"Poor guy had cold, and he couldn't stop scrunching his nose, soo..cute," My breathing ceased.
It couldn't be right?
Antidepressants were really messing with my head.
I mean it could be someone else with same appearance. It was not like only he had piercings and tats on his right hand'....
I gulped heavily in fear. I didn't know if I should be happy or scared. It had been a year I saw him.
Was it really Ethan?

No Strings Attached [Rewritten]
Warning Just so you know, you better be paying attention to the chapter title or else it's going to be like travelling across multiverses. Explanation Due to a single comment made by a wonderful person, or some douchebag in real life, I have decided to create two seperate stories. A rewritten version, and the original version. The rewritten version will somewhat follow the original storyline of the original version, but will have extra content, extra side stories of course rewritten personalities. The original one will be like a rough draft of where I want the story to go. Like for instance, the original story is like the first Link from 'Legend of Zelda', choppy but fun to read. The rewritten story is the Link from any game during and after Windwaker, smooth and somewhat follows the main premise. Overall both are going to be probably terribly done but hey, I'm creating a furture and past story so what should you expect. - Styx Whatever just put up the revised description. - Ariel Edited Summary Jay W. Blu, a dashing and charming rich boy who's been spoiled his whole life. He is very cocky, has a case of egomania and isn't exactly what you call a 'Relatable Main character', unless you somehow fit one of these descriptions and then relate all you want. He had everything you would probably want if you weren't pessimistic, realistic, or chronically depressed. But as most reincarnation/summoning stories go, he get's himself killed at whatever age he was and is sent to another world. Normally, he would be summoned as something you would call a hero, but since that's to cliche by my standards he is something else. Instead of being the hero of the people that he was told about by a friend, he instead summoned as the anti-hero aka, 'The Hero of Demons'. Now he must traverse the lands slaying opposing heroes as he tries to keep his mind straight, although it's to late. There will be weird people along the journey like a fangirling war general, a hive mind and a manly magical girl? Oh well, Jay is too pure to see love anyways.
