"A cripple?!" Atlas freaked out as the other Gods also gasped. George got offended. Even though he no longer was a cripple, their reaction hurt him

"He's not a cripple anymore," XD said as the Gods stared at him, "I taught him to fly and use his powers! I did it because he was kind to me. He feared me, but he had something else in mind."

: Feared you in what way?

: I was imprisoned by you, for fuck's sake! He thought I was evil!

: So he knew the protocols? No wonder

: I know! He freed me, I saved him, and then I taught him to fly and use his powers!

: So he was a cripple?

: Yes! Stop calling him a cripple! God!

: You swearing just makes me want to imprison you. I thought you learned your lesson

: I DID! I was in that statue for 700 fucking years! I changed!

: In what way?

: I found love

: Really? Who? Me or Nyx?

: A guy

: You're very handsome, but Atlas and I are not interested in you for your humor!

: Not you! And especially not Atlas!

: How rude!

: I fell in love with the angel that freed me

The Gods gasped. "THAT'S AGAINST THE RULES!" Nyx yelled as Atlas growled, "XD, falling in love with a mortal is against out rules! You have broken the line!"

"Please! I beg of you! He's here listening to you," XD said as they all looked around for the angel

"George, can you come out? Just come straight to me," XD said softly as the Gods noticed an angel from behind the pots

The angel quickly flew towards XD's shoulder. He curled as XD quickly grabbed the angel and cupped his hands

"Give me the angel now!" Atlas hissed as he looked down at XD's hands. XD growled and flapped his wings aggressively

"NO! LISTEN TO ME! HE MEANS THE WORLD TO ME! IF YOU GET NEAR ME OR HIM, I'LL BE THE ONE TO PUNISH YOU ALL!"

"As if you can!" Atlas laughed. XD growled and his letters X and D glowed. He raised his hand and shot a beam of lime green light as Atlas screamed

The Gods gasped in horror as they noticed Atlas was imprisoned in a statue. "HOW?!" Nereus yelled as XD laughed, "Like you all said, I am the God of Gods! I am your leader! I make the damn rules! George will stay here for a bit and you will make sure he gets the love he needs!"

Nyx and Echo nodded, but Nereus said nothing. XD slightly opened his hands, revealing a tiny frightened angel hugging XD's index finger

"I mean, he does look pretty cute," Echo gushed as she wanted to touch George, but XD growled to keep her away

"He is cute, and I see you have changed," Nyx smiled as she and Echo bowed to XD, "You have truly become the God of Gods."

"It's all thanks to my little Gogy," XD said proudly as George used his blue wings to barricade himself for XD being straight forward

XD broke the statue and Atlas came out, gasping. "HOW?! THE ONLY WAY THAT CAN WORK IS IF WE'RE ALL DOING IT TOGETHER?!"

XD smiled, "A little help from a mortal angel." Atlas eyed at George as he whimpered and turned away, grabbing handfuls of XD's robe and buried his face in fear

"Fine, XD! He'll stay here, but only for a bit!" Atlas said as he stormed out of XD's room. "You hungry?" Nyx asks as XD's stomach growled loudly, giving her the answer

Echo and Nyx prepared food as XD sat on his throne. He loved the smell of the food, and George was with him as he bit into a biscuit

"Was XD scary?" Echo asked George as the angel nodded, "At first, but now, I feel safer when I'm around him."

: That is wonderful!

: I bet he tried looking for you!

: He did

: I just wanted to know who saw me! Usually, we're never spotted, and I freaked out!

: Sure! You were always clumsy

: I WAS IN A CAVE!! What makes me think a human or angel will spot me!?

: Curiosity

: Yeah

They all laughed as they noticed Nereus coming inside. "Mind if I join?" he asks as XD nods and the God walked up to a seat

Nereus noticed George as he smiled, "You know, this angel is quite the charm." George blushed at the comment, making XD slightly jealous

They ate and talked as George finally felt a little more comfortable being with the other Gods. XD went to his room as George flew past XD

"I'm sorry you had to meet Atlas. He can be a fucking jerk sometimes," XD said as he took off his robe to change, making George turn red and he looked away

Once changed, XD sighed in relief as he finally touched his bed. "Sleep with me," XD said as George flew towards XD

He landed on his chest and XD placed his hand over the brunette. "Sleep well, my little angel," XD said as George kissed XD's bare hand

It was the first time he has seen XD's hands without his fingerless gloves. "Good night, and I hope I get to meet Atlas in the good way," George said as he snuggled on XD's chest

XD sighed, "I don't think you will." He heard the angel snore peacefully and chuckled. He pulled his covers and his wings over to protect George during the night
