George woke up from some sort of warm dome. His mind was kind of fuzzy from yesterday, and that's when it hit him

He noticed a giant masked face, the golden rings orbiting around the head, and the mask that looked like he was laughing, forming an X and D

He started to panic as he noticed he was trapped in a cage of giant wings. He noticed a small light from the tip of the white feathers and squirmed out

He tempted to run, but the God moved his leg towards George. His boot covering the angel's escape, he woke up and stretched his white wings

"Why are you running away from me?" he asks softly as the God slowly sits criss-crossed. He looked down at the angel as George just whimpered

The God sniffed. Is he going to cry? George thought as a tear flowed down from the mask. XD lifted his mask and wiped his tears

"I didn't hurt you. I saved you. Why am I scary to you?" XD whimpered and his voice slightly cracked as he spoke through his breaths

George felt bad as he noticed the God took off his mask and tucked his head down. "I just didn't believe you'd be capable enough to save me from a pack of coyotes," George stopped stuttering

: Couldn't you just escape easily?

: No

: You have wings. Couldn't you have just flown?

: It's...complicated

: Are you a cripple?

George jumped at what he heard. He hated that nickname. Memories of Sapnap and his bullies appeared as George snapped, "DON'T EVER CALL ME THAT!"

XD flinched at the angel's tone. He must have been through a lot, XD thought, realizing George went through something to the point he hates being called a cripple, meaning he is one

"If you want, I can teach you how to fly. As a thanks for freeing me, I'll get you back on the skies," XD smiled as he brushed his tears away

"I'd like that," George said as he stayed still. XD blushed a little, also thankful he wears a mask to cover his face and noticeable expressions

"Really?! Yes! I'll never let you down! But promise me you will obey with what I do and say, ok?" XD assured as George nodded, not facing the giant

"Let's do this! Oh! And don't be upset by my actions," XD said as he picked up the brunette angel, who trashed in his closed hand as XD giggled, "You're tickling me!"

George hated the fact that XD just caged him inside his hand. He stumbled as XD moved with every step

He heard the sound of wings opening. "What are you doing?" George asked as XD smiled, "I will fly!"

He flapped and flew up. George screamed in horror as XD flew through the clouds, cupping both hands, making George's cage bigger

George felt himself slightly floating, for now they were on the air. He finally heard that XD landed somewhere, because he opened his hands and let George out

"THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" George screamed at the God. XD just smiled, but inside, he was hurt for what this angel is doing

"Easy, Gogy! I just want to help you fly! I also heard you have powers. What kind?"

: Water

: Cool! Did you know that angels with the power of water can also get them from clouds, fog, plants, sweat, out of thin air, ice, and freeze water? Meaning they're powerful than any other angel?

: What? No

: I can teach you!

: How?! I mean, you're a God, but how can you mimic my power

: Gogy, I'm the God of Gods. I can do anything and mimic anyone when I want to

With that, XD swished his hand to the side, getting water on the tips of his fingers. He made one drop small and splashed some water on George

The angel shook his body and wings as he noticed the God laughing. George smiled and joined in the laughter with XD

He's laughing with me! XD thought as he stroke the angel's head. He flinched, but he actually wanted the touch again

"It feels soothing," George said as the angel purred at the gentle touch from the God. He felt happier, safer, and at peace with a giant God than at his home

"XD," George hugged the finger as XD blushed, "Y-Yeah?" The angel hugged his finger tighter as he smiled, "Thank you for saving me back there. I'm sorry I snapped at you, but I have been living a horrible life. The only friend I had was Quackity, but now, is it ok for me to consider you as my friend?"

XD awed at his vulnerability, "Sure thing, Georgie. I'll be your friend, and I promise you will fly up in no time."

George smiled as he felt XD's free hand stroking softly at his back, touching his blue wings as he gasped, "They're injured! Poor you!"

He snapped his fingers, healing the angel's blue wings as George smiled, "I forgot about that! I'm glad we're friends!"

XD just chuckled nervously. Just friends, I guess
