"How may I help you?" The lady asked. "We are looking to adopt an older brother for our son. We have two girls and he wants another boy in the house besides his dad." I said. "How old?" She asked. "11 or 12." I said. "Right this way." We followed her into a room filled with boys. From 5 to 17. "11 and 12 year olds, step over here!" She called. About 10 boys ran over. They stood in a line and I looked at them. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked, pointing to a random boy in the middle. He walked over to me and chandler. "What's your name?" I asked. "Oliver." He said. "How are you with 8 year old twin girls and a 10 year old boy?" I asked. "I would love to have siblings. I've always wanted a little brother. It might take me a few weeks to tell the twins apart. Unless they are the twins that don't look identical." He said. "They're identical. Sorry. How old are you?" Chandler asked. "I'm about to be 12." He said. I smiled. "What are your hobbies and interests?" I asked. "I like video games." He said. I chuckled. "So does this one." I smiled, patting chandlers chest. "How long have you been here, oliver?" I asked. "Since I was 5. My house burnt down. I was next door." He said. "Oh I'm sorry honey." I said. "Its okay." He smiled. I looked at Chandler and smiled. I nodded slightly and he smiled. "Go pack your bags oliver. Your coming with us." I smiled. He smiled big and ran over to the lady. He said something with a big smile and she looked at us. They both walked over to us. "Your want oliver?" She asked with a warm smile. We nodded and smiled. "Follow me." She said. We followed her to a room and oliver ran in. He grabbed a small back and stuffed it full of his stuff. He put it on his back and walker over to us. Chandler grabbed the bag and I grabbed Olivers hand. "You have to sign something for us before you leave." The lady said to us. We nodded and followed her. She pulled out some papers and me and chandler signed then chandler swiped his debit card. "Here's the certificate. Enjoy your new home oliver. We will miss you." She smiled. "I'll miss you too Jackie." He smiled. We all walked out and got in chandlers car. Oliver buckled up and chandler drove home. "Do you mind sharing a room? Parker is really excited to have a brother." I said. "I don't mind. I'm excited to have a brother too. And sisters." He smiled, slightly bouncing in his seat. I giggled and Chandler pulled into the driveway. I got out and saw parker looking through his window. He saw oliver and he smiled big. "Stay inside parker!" I yelled. He nodded and continued to watch us. Chandler grabbed Olivers bag and we all walked inside. "Parker!" I yelled, already hearing his running steps. He stopped in front of us and smiled big. "Hi! I'm Parker!" He said excitedly. "I'm oliver! We're brothers now!" Oliver shouted, equally excited. "Awesome!" Parker yelled and they hugged. "Parker, do you wanna come with us to get Oliver some new clothes and his bed?" I asked. Parker nodded excitedly and went to put his shoes on. "You don't have to buy me new stuff. I don't wanna intrude." Oliver said softly. "Oh honey its no problem at all. We are responsible for you now. We are gonna get you stuff so you'll feel welcomed. Cause, like it or not, your our son now." I smiled. He smiled back. "I love that I'm your son now." He smiled. Then parker came running down. He ran right up to Chandler and jumped on his back. Chandler stood up from picking up the girls toys and put them in the toy bin. "Girls!" I shouted. I heard footsteps then the girls came running over to me. I picked Jessi up and chandler picked Anna up. We all walked out then I looked at chandler. "How are we gonna do this? There's 6 of us and only 5 seats." I said. "Wait! I have an idea." I said, grabbing my phone. "Summie!" I said as she answered. "I'm on my way already. I'll be there in like 1 second. I'm pulling in." She said then hung up. I saw her car pull up then park. Sadie jumped out and ran over to parker. They hugged tightly. Their friendship is like summer and josh's friendship as kids. Cousins being best friends. Sadie jumped on parkers back and I looked at summer. "You wanna go shopping with us? We don't have enough room in just one car." I said. "Sure. I'll take parker and.." She looked slightly confused by Olivers presence. "Summer, this is oliver. We just adopted him. Oliver, this is my cousin, Summer and her daughter, Sadie." I said. "Hi!" Sadie shouted from parkers back. "Hey oliver. Nice to meet you." Summer smiled. "So I'll take parker and oliver in my car and you can take the girls. I'll just follow you." She smiled. Parker ran to summers car and got in, sadie sitting next to him in the middle. Oliver slowly walked over to the car and got in next to sadie. "See you at the store." I said. The girls got in the back seat while chandler got in the drivers side. "I love you Parker!" I shouted. "I love you too mom!" He said. "I love you cousin ashy!" Sadie shouted. "I love you too sadie!" I said. I looked at oliver and he smiled at me. I smiled back and waved. I got in the passenger seat and buckled up. Chandler backed out and summer followed us until we got to the mall of Georgia. We parked and got out. Oliver, parker and sadie got out laughing. Jessi and Anna ran over to parker. Anna jumped on his back and they walked off. Jessi looked kind of sad. I snuck up behind her and picked her up quickly. "I'm the mommy monster! And I've got me a good one." I smiled. She shrieked then started giggling. I started 'eating' her ear and she laughed louder. I set her back down, only for chandler to pick her up and put her on his shoulders. She held on to him and I smiled. Chandler grabbed my hand but I placed it back to holding Jessi's leg, so she wouldn't fall. He pouted at me and I smiled. "Her safety is more important." I said. He nodded and kissed my cheek. We walked into the mall and I saw anna jump down from parkers back. "Mommy! Can we go to build a bear?" She asked me. "I don't know honey. Ask daddy." I said. "Daddy?" She asked. "We'll see baby." He said to her. She nodded and ran back up to Parker. Jessi said something to chandler and he got a look of shock on his face. "Of course she loves you Jessi. She's your sister." He said. "It doesn't feel like it. She's always leaving me behind." Jessi said sadly. I saw Anna's head go down to look at the floor. She was that far in front of us, so she probably heard. "She makes me feel like I'm not part of the family." Jessi said, tears filling her eyes. "Like she's the better twin." She cried. Then anna ran off. "Anna!" I yelled. I ran after her but she disappeared. "Anna!" I yelled. I looked all around but I couldn't find her. I felt tears stinging my eyes. "Anna!" I cried. I fell to my knees as chandler and summer ran over with the kids. "Where is she?!" Chandler asked. "I don't know! She ran off and I wasn't fast enough. I don't know where she went." I cried. I looked up and saw jessi staring at something. She grabbed my hand and quickly pulled me over to an empty part of the store. I saw a creepy looking guys, talking to anna. She was crying. Jessi let go of my hand and ran over. She grabbed Anna's hand and tried to walk away, but the man grabbed them. I bolted over and pushed him off. "Get your filthy hands off my daughters!" I shouted. Anna and jessi hid behind my legs. He glared at me and stormed off. Chandler ran over and saw us. "Anna don't run off without one of us. That man could've killed you." I said to her. "That would be better. Because I make my best friend feel like crap." She said then ran over to parker. "Fuck." I muttered. "I'm taking the girls home. You get Oliver's stuff, then ride home with Summer." I said, picking jessi up. I walked over to Parker and kissed his head as anna grabbed my hand. "I'll see you guys at home." I said to them. They nodded and I kissed Olivers head too. Sadie reached up and kissed my cheek. I walked back out to the car and the girls got in the back seat. I got in the front and drove back home. Once I parked the car, the girls immediately got out and ran to the door. I sighed and got out as well. I opened the door and they ran up to their room. I locked the doors and windows then went up to my room and laid down.
