George stayed still as Clay crawled towards his cat. He cried and looked to see Dave as he grabbed George in a fist
George screamed as Dave laughed. He felt something cut his cheek as he looked to see another tiny human with a bow
"NO! SAPNAP, RUN!" George begged as Dave tightened his grip. George gasped as he whimpered
: NO! LET HIM GO!
: I want you to see how this ends!
: NO! PLEASE!
: Plus, wouldn't the principal be upset once he finds out about you fighting with me? With a weapon? On school grounds?
: We're not on school grounds!
: Check again
Clay turned to see their high school and his eyes widened. Both of them were barely on the school grounds. He gasped as he heard Patches and George whimper
George bit Dave's finger and his grip loosened as George rushed towards Clay. Clay picked him up and nuzzled him as Dave grunted, "Oh now you've done it!"
George lifted his arm and a vine whipped Dave's cheek clean. Blood oozed as Dave growled at the mushroom boy
George summoned more plant vines as they all whipped Dave's body, arms, and legs. He fell on his knees and used his arms to shield his face as George signaled for the vines to stop
All the vines circled around Dave as George turned to the cat. "PATCHES!" he yelled as he jumped down to heal her
Patches was breathing softly and slowly. "George?" she asked softly as George placed his hands on her wound and began to heal
George began to feel tears as he noticed he wasn't able to heal her wound. The cut is long and kind of open
He sniffed as he tried again. He begged for her to stay with him as Clay and Dave continued their fight from earlier

George noticed the village guards surrounding him and Patches as his friends met with George in the middle with Patches
: I can't! I'm not strong enough!
: I know you can! You are the mushroom boy!
: That's just a title! A name!
: It's more than just a name!
: George, even though you weren't allowed to get out much, you have helped us all. You taught me to become a nurse
: You gave me the idea and curiosity when you showed me a lemon seed
: I have spoken to others a lot more despite my insecurity
: I, no, believe in you, George
George smiled and closed his eyes. His eyes opened and began to glow as he began to mumble something
Clay and Dave stopped as they shielded their eyes from the light coming from George. The mushroom boy screamed as he looked up
He floated along with Patches as her cut began to magically sew. He used his hands as he swirled in the air and trees began to shake with him
He stared at Dave as he continued to swirl his hands in the air. The tiny humans bowed as Sapnap felt tears stream down, "He has unlocked it! HIS POWER!"
Clay also knelt down as Dave was lifted in the air. He grabbed onto the stop sign pole, but his grip was loosened as he was at George's level
The mushroom boy's eyes stared at Dave's as he shivered. "YOU HAVE BEEN ACCUSING CLAY FOR YOUR OWN MISTAKES! NOW YOU WILL JOIN US FOR YOU TO FEEL THE SAME WAY!"
Dave screamed as he felt himself transforming. He closed his eyes as a wall of vines covered them and the bright light faded
Once done, Patches woke up as she rubbed against Clay's leg. He picked her up and noticed Dave was gone, or so he thought

The wall of vines dispersed as George laid on his side. Sapnap ran and felt his body was hot and cold, but it was hot on his golden eye side and cold on his blue eye side
He woke up and groaned, "What happened?" Sapnap shrugged as Clay scrunched down, "Look!"
George noticed a new figure, but he was tiny. He turned him over and gasped to see who it was. He has a hog mask, his hair was longer than when he was human, and wore clothing from the softest rose petals
He shook his head and looked to see Clay was gigantic. He noticed George was still smaller than him, but he was close to his size
"Take care of him," George ordered as Sapnap and Punz held his arms and took him away. He trashed around to escape, but it was no use
: I didn't know you could do that
: Me either
: After all, you are The Mushroom Boy
: I still see it as a title
: Not just any title, my love
George hugged Clay's index finger and was being lifted. "I have something better," Clay smiled as he removed George's mushroom hat and kissed his lips
George kissed back as the village guards and George's friends cheered. Clay chuckled and noticed George was beet red and slept on his palm

A seven year old girl has gone missing in northern Michigan, and they are sure it involves something that happened to Gary when he was a boy, thirty years ago, not to mention that there have been sightings of same identical dead man on a Lake Erie beach now for several decades. Some might call what Gary and his co-workers are about to get involved in to protect humanity from a world whose borders with other realities are fraying at the edges, incredible and perhaps even insane. Some might call it a mission.
