《Little Mushroom Boy》Frantic Escape

George backed away as Patches stayed in front of the tiny human. The blonde smiled as he moved closer to them
"GEORGE, RUN!" Patches yowled as George held on his hat and ran away. The human wanted to run after him, but Patches already scratched his cheek as she hissed
George ran deeper as he heard a whimper. "NO!" he whispered as he was tempted to run back, but was held by someone else
The figure dragged him into an area with lights as he noticed who it was. The male hugged the mushroom boy and tears streamed from his eyes
: Sapnap?!
: WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU?!
: I was with a cat! She needs my help!
: A DOMESTIC CAT! I know you were with a human!
: But -
: No buts! He and these as well!
He used his stick spear to point at the other group. Punz bowed his head with shame as he looked away to break the eye contact with George
"They're going to prison for making contact with humans, and you as well," Sapnap replied as George tensed
He squirmed out of Sapnap's grip and ran out of the village, only to be stopped by other guards as they used their spears to keep George inside
"We're sorry, mushroom boy, but we can't let you leave," they said as they forced George to go into his mushroom house
He ran to his bed as he looked at the window and noticed more guards around his house. He looked to see Sapnap taking Punz, Niki, Tubbo, Skeppy, Ponk, and Sykkuno into the dungeons as he cried
George looked around and used his powers to bring vines as he heard the guards grunting in surprise and confusion
He concentrated and covered their mouths as George glided out of his window and the guards tried to scream, but vines muffled them

George stared at them with his blue and gold eyes as he ran out of the village. "WHAT?!" Sapnap called as he followed George
"CLAY IS IN TROUBLE, AND SO ARE YOUR HUMANS!" George yelled as the caged members gasped. Punz nodded as he turned to talk with the group
George could hear birds and Sapnap following him close as he used leaves and made a stairway towards a tree
He rushed and swung on the branches as the guards struggled to catch the mushroom boy. He swung and jumped off as they worried he'd loose his grip
Once he made it close to Clay's house, George went into the window and shut it with the plants from Clay's desk as he locked it
He heard a whimper and ran to see Patches on the floor twitching as she looked to see the mushroom boy walk up to her
"Here," he said as he closed his eyes and began to heal her wounds. She hissed in pain and relaxed as George smiled
: Thank you. Tommy did quite a lot
: I see
: I gave him a good bleeding
: Really?
: I scratched his cheek and arms, but he held me by my neck fur and threw me at the street. A monster was about to run me over
: A monster?
: It's how I call it
Patches stood up as she was now feeling better. "Do you know where Clay's at?" he asked as Patches shook her head. She had an idea and picked George up from the back of his coat
"Hop on," she said as she threw him in the air and he landed on her back. He grabbed her by the neck fur and the cat sprinted out
She yelped as both fell onto the ground. George looked to see ropes coiled on her front and hind legs as the village guards kept her down

"PATCHES!" George screamed, but was stopped by Sapnap as he adjusted his acorn helmet and stopped the mushroom boy from getting near the cat
: George! Enough!
: No! YOU LISTEN TO ME!
: IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!
: REALLY?! TO KEEP ME LOCKED IN MY HOUSE?! IS FOR MY OWN GOOD!
: George...
: Please! Let me help him! Clay's in trouble! Please let her go!
Sapnap turned to see the cat struggling as she hissed at Sapnap. George shushed her calmly as she stood silent and stayed down
Sapnap looked at George dead in the eye. He could see both colored eyes were glowing lightly. He sighed and gave the signal for the guards to release the giant cat
Patches shook herself and ran towards George as he climbed onto her back. He extended his hand as Sapnap stared in confusion
"Come with me. I might need an army for this," he said as he looked to see Punz and the others with their birds or bugs and all smiled
Sapnap whistled and a cardinal appeared. He climbed on and George whispered to Patches, "Where is Clay?"
The cat sniffed and whispered, "This way." George signaled as everyone followed the mushroom boy and the cat
Patches ran into the city as George noticed there was barely any human outside. So that's a good thing. The cat ran and finally slowed down
George heard groans of pain and an evil laugh. "CLAY!" George and Patches said at the same time as both found the alley where the noise was coming from
Patches hissed as the pink haired male turned and smiled, "Look who's here!" George whimpered as Clay looked and shook his head slowly
Patches waited as George slid down from her back and looked at the human. He walked towards him as Patches hissed and jumped at his face, but he sliced her side as she yowled in pain

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.

A Wish
This is a story where there are no heroes and no villains. This is a tale about revenge, despair, and hope. This is a story where the truth is constantly hidden deep beneath the surface, and nothing is ever as it initially appears. The world is a stage. Every character has their part to play before their exit. They are actors, dancing on a stage set for them while searching for the truth behind the façade. Only time will tell whether they will be able to escape their predestined fate, to search for their happy end, or whether the promised end is nothing more than, a wish. Author's Note: Update will be very unpredictable as I travel quite a bit for my work.
