《Little Mushroom Boy》Friendship In Their Way
Advertisement
The mushroom boy woke up as he realized he is inside Clay's pocket. He remembered hearing the human say his friends were coming over
He stirred as he noticed a giant hand wrapping his body gently and took him out. George hissed as his eyes adjusted to the light in the room
: They're gone
: How long was I asleep? *yawn*
: Hours
: WHAT?!
: Relax! They didn't see you, though you did mumble a lot, whimpered, and sneezed. It was adorable
George blushed at the comment and placed his mushroom hat on. Clay's finger lifted his chin to look at him as George blushed seeing the human's eyes
"Like what you see?" Clay smiled as the tiny boy groaned and covered his face, making Clay laugh and jump onto his bed
George looked to see the moon as he sighed. He noticed Clay went to sleep as he slowly made his way towards the giant teen
He used one of Clay's plants to help him carry him towards the human as the plant vine placed the mushroom boy onto his chest
It rose a dropped at a nice slow pace as George layed down, later feeling pressure and noticed Clay's hand on top of him
He loved this new thing, even though he broke many rules of staying hidden and making contact with a human, he was happy to choose a handsome one who's kind
The next morning, George woke up with the human gone. The tiny boy whimpered as he felt pressure on his head and noticed Clay petting his brown hair
George swatted his finger and placed his hat back on, "No touchie!" "Whatever, Gogy," Clay laughed as George blushed at his new nickname
He noticed Clay sit in front of the monitor and began going into some website where George noticed more humans as Clay grunted and leaned back on his chair

George climbed on the leg of the table and gasped as he made it to the top. Clay wheezed as he said, "I could've helped you!"
: And have you drop me to death? No!
: Come on! I like to see you flustered!
: *flustered* Me?! Pfff! No! I don't...you see...
: You were saying?
: Shut up!
George sat with his legs crossed as he crossed his arms, making Clay wheeze more as he loved how angry George looked like
The mushroom boy took off his hat and sat on it like a stool as Clay wheezed harder. George heard the voice of an adult, "Clay? Will you answer this problem?"
George saw Clay rolling on the floor as the mushroom boy panicked. Good thing it was on mute, but Clay needed to answer and fast, also sound bored
George sighed as he summoned the vine from Clay's plant. He noticed Clay's cat Patches meowing and jumping at the vine as George jumped onto the cat's back
He made Patches climb onto the table and mumbled, "I'm sorry, Clay." He swung the vine as he closed his eyes. To Patches' surprise, it was a bull's eye on the butt
Clay rubbed his ass as George laughed and rolled off from the cat's back. Clay heard the teacher call his name as he unmuted his mic, noticing George instantly went silent as he tried to stifle his laugh
The human kept his eyes locked to George as he answered, "It's x=7.8, Ms." "Very good, Clay! Also, you have one more week before you can come back to school!" his teacher said as Clay muted his mic and his eyes were still locked to George's blue and hazel eye
George giggled nervously as he noticed Clay went slower as he smoothed his ass and growled as he ran to grab him

The mushroom boy laughed as he got on Patches and she ran towards the living room as Clay followed his cat
: PATCHES! STAY!
: No! RUN!
To George's advantage, Patches listened to him and ran outside into the backyard as Clay ran in circles with the cat
They made the human fall as he fell onto the grass and was breathing hard from the chase. The little mushroom boy slid off from Patches and walked towards the human as he stared into the dazzling emerald eyes
George touched the cheek as he giggled and rubbed it in circular formation as Clay enjoyed the brunette soothing him
Clay's breaths were getting normal as he scooped up the tiny brunette and went back inside as he finished his classes
"CLAY! We're home!" his father called as Clay ordered for George to hide and went downstairs to greet them
During supper, his parents noticed Clay ate most of the food, but left small portions as he went upstairs with the plate
: Clay?
: Yes?
: Why are you going to your room with that small portion? You can just finish here with us
: I...umm...wanted to play with Grayson and Darryl! We are going to play!
: But that doesn't explain the small amount of food! Are you hiding something, Clay?
Clay panicked as he began to sweat nervously. He couldn't have his parents finding out about George, because his parents used to be explorers and still earn money if they send a rare item to their old friends
If George was seen, he could be worth millions for being a tiny human with nature powers, wearing a big fucking mushroom hat that isn't poisonous, can hide even with the hat, has rare eye colors which looks like he has a disease, but was born naturally with them, and finally, lives in a village like him with nature clothes, birds and insects as their horses, and they all protect the most important one of all

Cybernetic Dragon
Idea Seven, or Inter Dimensional Explorer Automaton Unit-7, has had a bit of an accident. Hijacking the egg of a dragon rather than its intended target of a bird egg, it isn't fully in control of its host brain. Rather the two, dragon and cybernetic AI interface, must work together to survive in a hostile world of magic, dungeons, beasts and adventurers. The AI must deal with being a machine from a world of science trying to carry out its mission of exploration, while the dragon, Rex, must deal with being a cyborg living with symbiotic nanotech that sets him apart from other dragons. What adventures await them? Author Note: I tagged this story GameLit because it contains concepts like levels, classes, and dungeon/beast cores. But, it isn't tagged LitRPG because no one has status screens, other than occasionally Idea Seven who likes to organize data into blue boxes. It isn't a natural function of the world to display level ups or skill ups with an announcer voice. I mention this to set expectations, because otherwise I feel like LitRPG fans might be disappointed by my lack of LitRPG elements while others might be turned off thinking I have a lot of LitRPG elements. I think that if you approach the story with an open mind you will appreciate the gradual way in which the main character learns and expands his understanding of how the world works, but the game mechanics aren't meant to take center stage to the actual story.

Magic-Farming
A thought experiment gone out of control, inspired by kosnik4's popular story, Magic-Smithing. What would life be like for someone else who was transported to the world inside Magic-Smithing? Someone who wasn't as prone to encounter incresasingly dangerous people, whose life was a little less chaotic? What if this person was content with a simple life of farming? Tending to the plants, sowing seeds, and reaping a great harvest at the end of the year. Of course, he's also a data scientist, so he can't help but squeeze out the maximum possible efficiency of his time and the potential of his attributes. Who doesn't make excel spreadsheets in their spare time? This is a slightly more "Slice of Life" esque version of kosnik4's story. Hopefully lighthearted, funny, and as enjoyable to read as it is thinking of increasingly ridiculous skill progressions. Thanks to kosnik4 and Magic-Smithing for providing fertile grounds for creativity to thrive. NOTE: THIS IS A FAN FICTION, AND ALL INTELLECTUAL RIGHTS BELONG TO KOSNIK4. I'm a patron of his story, and love reading about what happens next in his story. I've tried my best to be as accurate to his canon science as possible, though it's not 100% feasible. Afterall, the story isn't even done yet! My plan for the releases is to release a single chapter a day until 3/7, and then release 4 chapters a week on M, W, F, & Sat. P.S. If anyone can figure out what the EXACT formula for Level XP is, I'd love to hear it. I'm starting to doubt my math and excel capabilities. I have an equation that is fairly accurate and stays close to his values, but not exactly the same.

Nobody's Way
Foreign Thorn: Book 1 For eight centuries, the people of Isla have wanted for nothing. The Creator, Maere, uses Her power not only to keep them healthy and fed, but also to map the direction of each person's future Path - their vocation, role in society, and even the partner they'll spend their life with. In a world where infighting once threatened the very survival of humankind, the old texts say that Maere personally stepped in to help guide Her creations to harmony. All is not well among the people of the northern lands, however, as Jian discovers when she receives her own long-awaited Path. The Creator has chosen to favour some towns, but not others, leading to anarchy and unrest in the east, and fierce distrust between the neighbours who enjoy Her protection and those who don't. After many nights of disturbing premonitions, visions of a face uncannily familiar to her, and a voice beckoning her to "Homeland," Jian decides she needs to find answers for herself. She hires Madrigal, a surly young traveller hailing from an "unblessed" village, to take her to the southern lands. The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him. When the two leave the safety of the familiar and meet Quinn, a mysterious boy who seems to know more about Jian than she does about herself, it becomes clear that there are forces besides the old magics, forces completely unknown to the people of Isla, in play. Madrigal and Jian aren't sure if Quinn can be trusted, but they're certain he knows more than he's letting on...
