As soon as we got out the plane, my driver was waiting for us. I've mentioned for him before we landed that he should be ready to take us to the hospital and indeed, just as we got in the car he started driving, Kris stayed with Brandon along with Tony and Daniel. While the girls went with me, When we reached the hospital. I asked Avah if she could walk and she nodded her head yes.

Avah was leaning on Carolina and Sarah was behind them while I rushed in front of them to get a doctor or a nurse. I went to the receptionist but she was busy chewing gum and talking on her phone.

"Excuse me" I said, she raised her hand asking me to wait. I sighed and leaned on the counter waiting for her to finish, I turned to check on Avah. She was leaning on Carolina who was barely holding both their weights.

"Exc-" the receptionist cut me off, with an obviously fake smile.

"Wait, I'll be with you in a minute" she rolled her eyes and went back to talking on the phone. My leg was shaking in anxiety she was putting me through, and I am not a very patient person.

"Can you just lis-" and of course she cut me off again in a very rude manner.

"Sir! I told you to wait" she raised her voice, without being able to stop myself I hit the counter hard scaring the receptionist and everyone in the waiting room.

"I've been waiting for you to finish that fucking phone call for fifteen minutes straight! There is a woman who could be having an internal bleeding right in this moment!" I yelled but she was still just staring at me with the phone glued to her ear. She sighed and leaned closer to speak to me while covering the phone's microphone.

"I'm sorry, but I'm just going my job. You have to wait like everybody else. Okay?" She finished with pop of her gum that's been giving me a headache this whole time. In a moment of being blinded by rage I found myself grabbing the receptionist by the collar and pulled her out of her seat.

"No you're sitting there chewing on that rusty fucking gum acting like you're doing your job! Get. Me. A doctor" I whispered, I felt arms grab me and pull me away from the woman. The security had pushed me on my stomach and cuffed my wrists, I should really work on my anger.

I turned to look for the girls and I saw Avah throwing up on the floor while Carolina and Sarah were holding her hair and trying to stop her from falling. She was paler than before and she looked like it was hard for her to stand.

"See" I said to the receptionist who had a scared look on her face, two nurses rushes to the almost passed out Avah and helped her lay on a bed, I sighed in relief when I saw them take her inside a room.

"I-I I'm gonna report you!" The woman said making me snort and laugh, she looked at me like I was crazy. I can't stand people like her, she's obviously wrong for declining service to an injured woman and when I stood up for it she threatens to sue me.

"Oh no, if something bad happens to her because of your recklessness. I'm the one who's gonna sue you" the security guard shushed me and pushed my head down. I laid there and asked Carolina to call my lawyer, they pulled me up on my feet and made me sit on a chair until the cops came.

"Carolina, you should stay with her. I'll call Kris" I reassured her, a cop walked in the room and asked what was going on. The woman explained her side of the story and I explained mine, she, of course told him I attacked her for no reason because I'm unstable.

"Look sir w-"

"Ma'am" Carolina corrected him, he gave her a confused look.

"Excuse me?" He asked offended, she sighed pointing to me.

"She's a ma'am" she said with a loud sigh, he started looking in my pockets to check for a wallet. He grabbed it and pulled out my ID and my business card. His face paled and he started looking between me and the ID, I smiled innocently and waited for him to uncuff me.

"Ms Martin we're sorry for the inconvenience, I believe there's been a mistake" He said helping me up on my feet, I rubbed my wrists and rolled my eyes.

"That's alright officer, I do need some help with something else though" I turned to Carolina and gave her a side hug.

"Make sure they take care of her, let me know what the doctors say" she nodded and I walked out with the officer on my tail.

"The woman we've brought here is a victim of abuse, my brother has already taken the guy to the police station, make sure..." I looked around and grabbed the cop by the back of his neck, he was still young maybe just graduated.

"...make sure he gets a welcoming hug" I patted the spot where I had my hand. He quickly nodded, I've given him the information he needed and he went on his way.

After smoking a cigarette outside, I went back inside to find Carolina and Sarah. They were talking to a man in a lab coat, must be Avah's doctor.

"I'm sorry but her vocal cords are too damaged and she won't be able to speak..." Was the first thing I heard when I stood next to them. The girl had been going through this for so long and no one said or did anything , and look where that had gotten her.

"Can we see her please?" Sarah begged the doctor, he nodded and they both followed him. I didn't know if I should go check on her or not, a hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me with them.

"She'll be glad to see you, don't worry" Sarah said with a sad smile, what is that supposed to mean. Is it because I saved her? I mean that's what anyone would do, I nodded and went with her.

The short haired woman was laying on the hospital bed, looking extremely tired. I stood in the corner while Sarah went to check on her and Carolina fixed her pillow.

From what Carolina said, the only major injury was her broken rib. It was making it hard for her to breath or move, she said that the doctors have taken pictures of the bruises incase she wanted to file a report against the abuser.

The girl opened her eyes slowly, she smiled at Sarah and leaned on her head on her bestfriend's shoulder. When she noticed me standing in the corner, her eyes widened a bit and the heart monitor started to beat faster.

Did I scare her? Was I making her feel uncomfortable? I should probably leave, I looked away from her face and left the room. I shouldn't be making things worse for her, Carolina or Sarah will keep me updated.
