The Ancient Core: A Progression Fantasy
The title of [The Ancient One] is bestowed upon an unassuming, forgotten Core. Hidden deep underground, it lies in wait, biding its time as it learns the rules of its surroundings. Roaming beasts and unknown threats surely threaten the little rock as it sticks to the darkness, its one true refuge. This is a slow-burning Dungeon-Core fiction with a LitRPG-System. You can expect an extreme amount of kingdom-building, an more in-depth Mana-System, and a Evolution-System. Chapters are between the length of 2-4k words, though the first 50 will likely be closer to 4k. Anything after will have the average be 2.5k. I personally like explaining how things work a lot, so do have that in mind if you decide to read this fiction. The rest of the class agree to this, but Shinji isn't convinced as he sense the conspiracies from the kingdom's words. Decided not to get involved with their affairs, Shinji went out and journeyed in a different world where his actions unknowingly change the course of events happening around him. Warning: Contains some extreme violence, a bit of slice of life, Graphic sexual content (18+). Story is abandoned. There will be no more updates on it. Jarod is kind of a loser, as it goes with these stories. A tear in his reality pulls him into another world, where he gains the ability to devour spirits, the locus of magic within the world. This is far from my first foray into fiction, but it is my first time posting anything to royal road, and first time writing LitRPG. This is an exercise in putting things out there, and just writing. We figured out some of the secrets of the universe: other dimensions, Aether, things we thought of as magic. The Last war was supposedly fought. Our world is entangled with another via a dimensional bonding, but life goes on. We even barely lost a couple of cities. All said and done. Things are going mostly okay. We have the special ecenomic zones, You can fight monsters for resources. There are genetic celebrities on another world. A thriving economy based on ExoRig exploration and "mining" Another world that is dimensionally entangled. Okay things are complicated. This is one man's journey to figure some of this out.
