Pumbaa, Timon, and Y/N were sound asleep when Timon heard someone calling his name.
"Timon. Timon. Timon!" Simba called, which are Timon groan as he woke up, then Simba said, "I got to go."
"Go? Go where?" Timon asked.
"You know, go-bad," Simba specified.
"Oh, go. Why didn't you say so? Come on, let's go. When you got to go, you got to go," Timon said urgently as they headed out.
The next day, Simba was jumping on limbs of huge tree while the two meerkats and warthog watched.
"Young lion, get down from there," Timon commanded.
"Whoo-hoo! All right!" Simba cheered as he jumped to another branch then commented, "Man, you guys look like ants down there."
"Simba. Please come down," Y/N lightly pleaded.
"I'm counting to three," Timon warned.
"Yahoo!" Simba shouted while jumping, but the branch broke.
'Uh-oh," Pumbaa said.
"Pumbaa! Evasive action!" Y/N instructed.
As Simba free fell, Timon started counting.
"One, two-" Timon started, Pumbaa landed on him to catch Simba, then Timon groaned before Y/N helped him up, "Three."
Later that night, they were asleep when Simba nudged Y/N.
"Y/N?" he called.
She woke up and stretched before looking at the lion cub.
"Hey, bud. You need to go again?" she asked sleepily.
"No. I'm thirsty," Simba answered.
"Okay. Come on," Y/N said as they got up then she told him, "You know this means you'll be up again about two hours from now."
The next morning, Simba was swimming when he was heading for a waterfall.
"Hang on, Simba! I'll save you!" Timon panicked as he swam after him.
"Yahoo!" Simba cheered as he went over the falls.
Pumbaa then caught him with Y/N on his back.

"Whoa!" Timon shouted as he free fell.
"Timon!" Y/N shouted.
She then jumped down and caught him before grabbing a large limb.
"You okay?" she asked.
"Yeah. Thanks," Timon thanked with a relieved smile.
"You're welcome," Y/N returned it.
That night, the same routine took place.
"Timon? Y/N?" Simba called.
"We're going to get old walking across this thing," Timon commented groggily.
The next day, Simba flung Timon around on his paws, making Y/N laugh.
And then that night...
"Timon?" Simba asked.
"Aah! What have you got against the concept of a good night's sleep, huh?" Timon demanded as he got up and looked at him with tired eyes.
"Actually, I, uh...I had a bad dream," Simba told him.
"Oh, well..." Timon started then nudged Y/N as he whispered, "Y/N, wake up."
"What's going on?" Y/N asked when she got up.
"The kid had a bad dream," he answered.
"I got this. Just wake up, Pumbaa," she assured.
Y/N went over to Simba and gave him a comforting hug, which made him return it.
"Hey. You wanna talk about it?" Y/N asked comfortingly.
"Not really. It just involved my past," Simba answered.
"Ah. Don't worry. I got the solution," she said.
Then Timon elbowed Pumbaa in the side, waking him up.
"Uhh! It wasn't me," Pumbaa blurted out.
"Junior had a bad dream," Timon informed.
"Ohh," Pumbaa replied, feeling bad.
"I was thinking he could sleep with us," Y/N suggested.
"Yeah. That's a great idea," Pumbaa agreed.
"Nuestra Pumbaa, su Pumbaa," Timon did the same.
"All right!" Simba cheered as he got Y/N on his back then went to the guys.
Simba was then on Pumbaa's stomach while Timon and Y/N were leaned up against Simba.
"Good night," Simba started.
"Sleep tight," Timon added.
"You three are out of sight," Y/N went on.
"Dream of bedbugs tonight," Pumbaa finished.
He then went dead asleep, making Simba laugh lightly. He, Timon, and Y/N soon followed suit when Simba wrapped his arm around them. They were a bit confused, but soon fell asleep. They even snuggled up to each other as the night went on.

The Lies They Told Me: Short stories from my life
Like many of my peers, I've discovered that life is not quite what I expected it to be. As I age, I've begun to find that many of the sayings and truths that my parents, authority figures, and friends have passed on to me were outright lies. Every person I know has been subject to the same interactions, which got me thinking, why not write a compilation of stores about my life experiences to date. I hope that this book will help all of us come to terms with the realities that we face today or deal with some of our deepest feelings about the past. Maybe these people lied to us and maybe they honestly believed the myriad of things they told us, but either way I think we can have a good laugh looking back and remembering the first times that we realized these things weren't true. I also hope that you can look back at the lies, or life lessons, that you've learned and can be inspried to own your stories and share them with others in a genuine way. Wiithout further ado, I hope that you enjoy the many short stories of my life that made me who I am today. These stories range from funny to down right surrel, so good luck on your journey!

8 239Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
