《Lion King 1 1/2 (Timon X Y/N)》Chapter 11: Sleeping in the "New Home"

They made it there and used the next few days, setting everything up
"This is it, buddy boy. Home, sweet home. And Y/N and I don't gotta share it with anybody," Timon declared as he put up his hammock.
"Don't you two get, you know, lonely out here?" Pumbaa wondered.
"'Lonely'? Try commitment-free. The elbow-to-elbow life reminds us a little too much of home," Timon said, laying in his hammock.
"Yeah. Even though I can tolerate it better than him, we're both equally glad to be out here," Y/N added as Pumbaa handed Timon a drink.
"You got that right, Y/N. This place has everything: cool refreshments, cozy little hammock, a lovely water feature, and it's all ours," Timon stated.
"Oh. Well, it's really coming together, guys, so, uh, so, I guess I'll just be going," Pumbaa said before leaving, a little down.
As Pumbaa left sadly, the two meerkats noticed then looked at each other, having a silent conversation before nodding, agreeing on the matter.
"Wait a minute, now. Wa-wa-wait. There's no law that says you have to go. I mean, if you want-" Timon told him, which made Pumbaa rush back.
"Great! I already made up three beds!" Pumbaa said.
Pumbaa brought them in to see two small grass beds and one large one.
"One each for you two, and one for me," Pumbaa directed.
Timon yawned and stretched as he went to one of the small ones. He then stood on one and groaned tiredly.
"Ohh! Gee, all this construction work has me bushed. Think I'll turn in early," Timon replied, went to the bigger bed, then said as he stretched, "Ahh! Yeah."
Y/N looked at Pumbaa, who smiled and urged her to the big bed, making her blush. But she obeyed as Pumbaa quickly reconstructed the two beds into one, though it wasn't much bigger than the one he originally made for himself. He then got comfortable in it before sighing in content.

"Good night!" Pumbaa said.
"Sleep tight," Timon added.
"You're both out of sight," Y/N smiled before closing her eyes.
"Dream of bedbugs tonight," Pumbaa finished.
They soon fell asleep, but not without Timon seeing Y/N, sleeping peacefully. He smiled at the sight.
"Home, sweet home indeed," Timon said to himself before eventually falling asleep.

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.
