《She's Mother {Rengoku x Demon! Reader}》The Meeting Pt.1 (12)

You groaned, stretching in your small cave. Today was the day. You'd be putting your life on the line for your children. You hoped you'd be able to do something to aid the demon slayers, but even if you couldn't, you could only believe that they wouldn't kill you.
You picked yourself up, dressing yourself in an old pair of pants, a shirt, and haori. The clothes brought a great feeling of nostalgia, but as you looked at your haori you couldn't help the feeling of Deja Vu.
You walked out, seeing a small puddle of water in front of you, and looking down at yourself. Your haori, while worn and faded, was still beautiful. It had a sunset color scheme with clouds placed sporadically.
You smiled, nostalgia flooding you once again. It was a bittersweet feeling, but you still had so much you still needed to do, for yourself and your children. You walked to the town, hoping Akaza would be somewhere near.
You were walking in the town, hoping Akaza would show up soon. You were suddenly grabbed from an alley. You held back a scream, going to deliver a left hook to the assailant.
Your fist was caught, and as you looked at the aggressor you only found Akaza looking back at you. "You jerk! Why'd you scare me like that!" You cried as you hugged the man.
He hugged you back, humming softly. "It's time to go Akaza. I know this may be difficult for you, but I've got your back. So don't worry. I won't let them hurt you." He nuzzled deeper into your shoulder, circling his arms tighter.
You pat his back lightly, signaling him to let you go. He did so reluctantly but stepped back nonetheless. "It's time to go," you gave him a weak smile, "I'll be by your side the whole time." He lightly smiled back at you, grabbing your hand and walking deeper into the alley.
You were mere minutes away from the Ubuyashiki estate, the wisteria making the two of you itchy. You fought the urge to itch, hoping that keeping a hold of Akaza's hand would help.
It did, but you both wanted to stop and itch until the sensation went away. But you continued walking, soon walking through the gates of the Ubuyashiki estate. You saw all nine of the Hashira looking at you. You walked closer, bowing lowly toward them.
Akaza grumbled but bowed towards the Hashira as well. "It is nice to meet you all, I hope we may work together in the future," you spoke softly, turning towards where Ubuyashiki sat. "Hello Lord Ubuyashiki, I hope we are able to work all of this out," you walked to be in front of him and knelt, bowing low towards the leader of the Demon Slayers.
"Lord Ubuyashiki, I hope we can come to a mutually beneficial agreement. It is good to meet you," you sat up straight finally seeing the face of the leader of the Demon Slayers. He had a purple scar over his eyes, and he couldn't seem to triangulate exactly where you were. He's blind, you couldn't help the intake of breath at the realization.

"Lady (Y/n), it's great to hear from you. I hope for the same thing. There is so much we could do for each other. Is everyone here?" He questioned. "Yes, my lord, everyone is here," The water Hashira spoke softly.
He nodded, "allow me to introduce everyone. Lady (Y/n) these are my Hashira," he paused. " Tomioka Giyuu. Mitsuri Kanroji, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Gyomei Himejima, Obanai Iguro, Muichiro Tokito Tengen Uzui, Shinobu Kocho and I'm sure your know Kyojuro Rengoku." He finished with a smile.
You turned to face all the Hashira, "it is lovely to meet you all. I hope we can work well together," you bowed your head slightly to show respect. Rengoku had a ghost of a smile on his face, and the rest were glaring at you or held blank faces.
The one who you learned was Senemi seemed to be enraged, vibrating with his anger. He also seemed to be growling. The other ones you had recently met had their arms up ready to draw their swords.
"You brought Akaza," Rengoku couldn't help but state. You nodded, "yes, sorry. I wanted my own allotted safety. I knew that if this was a setup I wouldn't be able to take all of you, but I have a fighting chance with Akaza here."
"You brought another demon here with you?" Ubuyahiki asked. You turned back towards him. "Yes, my son, Akaza. He's known as the upper moon three." The other Hashira spluttered at hearing you say Akaza was your son.
Ubuyashiki nodded, contemplating his answer. "You were able to reform such a high-ranking demon?"
"Yes, it was difficult, but I'm able to remind demons of their human lives and I was able to sway Akaza. Once he drank my blood it made human flesh taste," you paused, "unappetizing."
He nodded at your explanation, humming in thought. "Master, I don't care what this demon says I won't trust them!" Sanemi growled. It was a full moon, so you could see the shadows of the man's face. The house in front of you having many lanterns to allow the slayers to see you better as well.
"Is there something that I can do to prove our humanity?" You questioned, hoping that you'd be able to bridge the gap of trust. He smirked, an evil grin splitting his face. "Oh lord," Shinobu groaned.
He drew his sword, slicing a long strip down his arm. You stared at him, highly alarmed. "What is that supposed to do?" You questioned, but you were astonished by the light growl emanating from the man beside you. " I have Marechi blood," he smirked at you.
You glared at him but turned to Akaza. "Stop," you snarled at Akaza. He turned to you, eyes wide, and drool starting to spill between his clenched teeth. The smell finally hit you, causing your nose to crinkle. It didn't smell very good.
He lowered his growls but didn't seem to be able to fully stop it. He shifted his weight, almost like he was about to stand. You shifted, grabbing the back of his head and slamming it into the ground. You snapped at his neck, the way a wolf does to her pup. He seemed to placate afterward but was still tense.

You continued to rest your weight on him, to ensure that he didn't go against your orders. He was shaking with the effort it took him to not go after the Hashira. Sanemi smirked in what seemed to be triumph, but as Akaza got used to the smell he started to calm down, and as he did, you gently got off of him. You were still prepared to intervene if necessary but Akaza seemed to have been able to conquer the desire to eat the Hashira.
He was still trembling, just barely, but enough for you to notice. "Have you proved your point Sanemi?" You bared your teeth at the slayer. He was taken aback at first, clearly not expecting your show of aggression.
You were rubbing Akaza's back, and he fell into your chest, almost purring at the affection. You cradled him, giving him what comfort you could. "I still don't trust these demons," Sanemi growled again. Can this man talk like a normal person? But the answer was no.
Rengoku broke the staring contest the two of you were having. "May I bring in young Kamado to vouch for Ms. (Y/n)?" Ubuyashiki was mildly surprised by the flame Hashira attempting to vouch for you, considering how he felt about Nezuko, but allowed it nonetheless.
"Yes of course," Ubuyashiki spoke kindly. Tanjiro popped up from behind the large building, a nervous smile adorning his features. "Hello everyone," he turned to Ubuyashiki, "Lord Ubuyashiki." He said as he bowed down.
Ubuyashiki nodded and gestured for him to continue. "I'm sure you all remember me speaking of Lady Tamayo, well Lady (Y/n) here is the person that allowed Lady Tamayo to exist as he has been. She is the one who reformed both Tamayo and Yushiro."
Tanjiro did his best not to stutter and you nodded to him, proud of his accomplishment. The Hashira began to whisper among themselves, unsure of what to do with the newfound information.
Rengoku only stared at you as you consoled the other demon, fighting the jealousy he felt at you physically comforting another man. He felt his eyebrow twitch, which happened at the exact moment his former Tsuguko turned to ask him a question.
Mitsuri gasped, and her hands came up to cover her mouth. She scooted closer to Rengoku, leaning into his personal space.
His fixation on you was broken as he felt Mitsuri lean into him. He jerked his head over towards her, and the look of adoration on her face was enough to tip Rengoku off. She leaned in and whispered in his ear, "you like her, don't you." She giggled, trying to keep quiet.
You turned your head, seeing one of the Hashira talking to Rengoku. She was beautiful and it instantly made your heart ache at seeing the two interact. They were probably in love, and while you knew you didn't have a chance, that feeling being confirmed hurt. You turned away, focusing back in on Akaza. Best to forget about those feelings, you thought glumly as you pet Akaza's hair.
Rengoku blushed furiously at Mitsuri's proclamation. "O-of course not," he stuttered. She squealed, dancing in her seat. "You do, you do," she chanted albeit quietly but still enough to catch the other slayers' attention.
Uzui leaned over the two of them, "what's going on here?" He quirked an eyebrow in curiosity. "Oh well Mister Rengoku here," Rengoku cut her off and placed a hand over her mouth. "Absolutely nothing!"
Uzui was suspicious but withdrew. Mitsuri was blushing and gave Rengoku the sparkliest eyes at her newfound information. He slumped as he looked at her, absolutely defeated at being found out.
Akaza seemed to have been able to collect himself, and begrudgingly sat back up on his own. As he did so, you decided to stand. Many of the Hashira were on edge because of your sudden movement. "Sanemi, would you come closer?"
"No way in hell!" He growled. You sighed, "I will allow you to place your sword at my neck if it would bring you peace of mind." You attempted to compromise. "You may kill me if I step out of line." You offered.
He smirked and beckoned you forward. You stood within arm's length, "may I have your wounded arm?" You gestured for his cut arm. He smirked, already seeing his sword on your shoulder, facing the blade towards your neck.
"Is that really necessary Sanemi?" Rengoku asked, tired of this situation already. Sanemi growled at the other Hashira, but said nothing. Rengoku sighed but waited to see what would happen.
You reached for the Hashira's arm, gently turning it to the bloody area. You lifted your other arm, slowly, but Sanemi still brought his sword closer to his neck. You licked your thumb and brought it to the cut.
Sanemi tried to jerk his arm away, but you held firm. Everyone watched as the part your saliva touched began to heal. Sanemi was shocked. You repeated the process until his entire wound had begun to heal.
"Oh, my heavens..." Mitsuri gasped. Ubuyashiki was confused before one of his children informed him of what happened. "I hope this will help," you murmured as you stepped away. Everyone stared at you, flabbergasted.
"I'm able to heal a simple wound with my saliva. I can aid severe wounds, but it doesn't work as well as it does on simple injuries." You walked back to Akaza, and he stood up to join you.
"I hope this will be able to aid everyone," you gasped. "Oh and Rengoku, I'm sorry for not helping your wounds but I didn't think it would be very useful, considering how little time was left, or you'd accept my help."
Rengoku was surprised but nodded. "No, it's fine. I appreciate it, however. The herb mix you gave me was very useful, thank you." He nodded to you. You smiled back but did not reply.
"You took an herb mix from a demon!?" Sanemi, Uzui, and Obanai yelled. Rengoku flinched at the loud voices. "Yes, she would have killed me by now if she wanted to." Some of the Hashira agreed while others were still apprehensive.

Please note: the Sexual Content tag is there due to a single brief plot-relevant scene, which has a warning at the beginning. For other details, read the full description below. Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 5 x 5*, 2 x 4.5*, 1 x 0.5* During a blackout, a frail and ragged old woman stops to ask for a glass of water from a backyard barbecue party. Given a good supper instead, she looks around the group, and tells them, "Be who and what you truly are." Days later, seven of the people from the barbecue find themselves drawn into a trap laid by a pair of wizards and their accomplices, who kidnap them into a bubble reality. All seven, who have known each other all their lives, are informed that they are not in fact entirely human: they have active fae blood, due to a series of conditions culminating with the blessing of the elderly fae woman. The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.

Omnicrafter (A Crafting Adventure LitRPG)
Countless twenty-something-year-olds around the world wish every day for a chance to go back in time to start practicing their passions sooner in life. Tabitha is one such woman. With all of her youth spent playing online games where crafting was as simple as gathering materials and clicking a "craft" button to put them together, she never gained any actual experience in making things. Every attempt to create something in the real world is met with disaster. Her heart yearns for being the master crafter of her virtual youth, but she's the type who burns water when trying to cook. That changes when she wakes up and finds herself in a game-like fantasy world where crafting comes as naturally to her as breathing. She still has to put in the hard work of crafting herself, but the system helps her out to make what was once impossible for her possible. She gets all the fun of making things and flexing her creative spirit while not needing any years of training nor study to build her skill up! While she might not have any idea how she got to this strange world, she does know that she's not going to waste her chance and is going to make the most out of this new opportunity to craft everything! An "Omnicrafter" was what they called people in the MMORPGs she played who maxed out every single crafting class, and that is exactly what Tabitha plans on doing with her new life! The crafting side of this series is heavily inspired by games like the Atelier series and the critically-acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV (which has a free trial, you know!)*. If there's a problem, it can be solved by crafting. Also, in case the title and synopsis didn't make it obvious enough, this series is going to focus on crafting all the things. Wooden spears and protective cuirasses? You got it! Healing tonics and farming equipment? Sure! Elaborate cupcakes and customizable fantasy golems? Darn straight! Weapons with a broken amount of different buffs applied to them due to the crafting process and materials used? You know it! The most amazing fishing rod to ever exist? Well, obviously. Fishing is the true endgame only after crafting, after all! So, if you like alchemy, blacksmithing, carpentry, cooking, leatherworking, tailoring, engineering, rune forging, magical enchanting, or basically any other type of crafting found in RPGs, come check the story out! An omnicrafter doesn't just focus on one specific type of crafting. A true omnicrafter is the best at all types of crafting! *This is a meme, I'm not sponsored by FFXIV, please don't hate me. All Stats Random
Un-reality, the greatest game in the century just launched and Chris starts to play it. He wants to change his circumstances, which are through no fault of his own. But fate doesn't let it be that simple. He gets a hidden unique class, but that class has a special ability, one that randomizes all his stats whenever it wants? What? The world truly can't be fair to him. Not even in a game. Now he has to figure out a way to make this odd quirk of his class work. When he smiles, the world loves him. When he laughs, the world fears him. (and that was my stab at trying to imitate those chinese synopses) Regular chapters, once or twice per week. On the weekends usually. I will finish this novel, be it takes 1 year or 2. It will get a proper ending. Afterall, the ending is paramount. Also, the readers might feel rewarded if they look closely while reading. I try to be quite mindful and put in interesting details or things that would come into play later. And, personally i think that reviews on this site might as well be pointless. Unless you know the reviewer and think that you share his views. Your thoughts on a particular thing (like a novel) can differ from others. So, do give it a try before arbitrarily deciding. This is my try to perfect the 'master of all/everything' type of MC, inside a proper, realistic VR world, from a game design perspective and immersion and no convenient 'convert gold to irl currency' button. It is going to be a game first of all. Not a fantasy world overloaden with status screens and skills you can't possibly keep track of. A game with all of the real world aspects to it. Not a cheap fantasy world with shoehorned in stats.

Robinson Crusoe (Completed)
Robinson Crusoe is a novel by Daniel Defoe, first published on 25 April 1719. The first edition credited the work's protagonist Robinson Crusoe as its author, leading many readers to believe he was a real person and the book a travelogue of true incidents. Epistolary, confessional, and didactic in form, the book is presented as an autobiography of the title character (whose birth name is Robinson Kreutznaer)-a castaway who spends twenty-eight years on a remote tropical desert island near Trinidad, encountering cannibals, captives, and mutineers, before ultimately being rescued.
