《{WICKED GAMES} Mitsuya x Fem!Reader》thirty three

You and Mitsuya walk outside to the back of the brewery. You find two wooden rocking chairs overlooking the green forest behind the brewery and sit down. As Mitsuya sits, a long, tired sigh escapes from between his lips.
"You look tired as hell, what's going on?" you ask as he stares out into the forest.
"I didn't want to bother you after everything you went through," he admits, "but something's off about this whole thing."
You're a bit shocked to hear him say that. You feel the same way, but you didn't know he'd been thinking about it, too.
"What were you and Mikey talking about?" you ask.
"I wanted to question him about the incident from the other day, about Chikao."
"And?"
"Mikey said Hanma killed him."
"Huh?!" your eyes widen. So that's why Hanma's still kept around. He made it look like he betrayed Otsuda for Toman's benefit. "There's no way he actually did that."
Mitsuya shrugs. "I don't exactly believe Hanma either but Mikey's convinced."
"Well- And what about Kisaki?" you gasp anxiously.
He shakes his head disappointedly. "I've got no leads, but at least he's out of Toman now."
"It doesn't matter if Kisaki's out!" you whisper shout. "They've still got their foot in the door with Hanma here!"
"I know. You've got to be extra careful when you're around him, Y/N," he tells you as he sits up in his chair tensely. "Got it?!"
"Got what?" Hakkai's voice calls as the back door to the brewery slides open. "What are you two doin' back here?" he smirks. You can almost instantly tell he's had more than one glass of wine.
"Hanma," you sigh.
Hakkai groans at the mention of that name. "Yeah, I saw him, too. That jerk."

You and Mitsuya exchange a knowing glance as Hakkai stumbles over to you.
"Were you drinking?" Mitsuya asks almost confused by the sight of his friend that way. You doubt he's ever seen Hakkai drunk before. You know you haven't.
"What happened to the one glass?"
"I needed more than one after what I just saw," he huffs.
"What're you talking about?" Mitsuya asks.
"Draken and Hanma... hugging," Hakkai shutters.
"This isn't good," you mumble. "He's got everyone thoroughly convinced..."
"At least the three of us and Yuzuha still have our senses!" Hakkai grins.
"Really?" you tease as you smile at Hakkai. "Do you have your senses with you right now?"
As the three of you laugh and switch to a lighter conversation, the brewery door slides open once more and two sets of footsteps being to approach. As you look over, you see Yuzuha and Emma walking towards your group.
"Mitsuya, did you bring that thing the three of us discussed?" Emma hums.
Mitsuya quickly looks at you and then back to the two girls. "Yeah, it's in my car."
Emma and Yuzuha beam and grab hold of your hands. The three of you run right through the venue, wasting absolutely no time. As you zoom past, your eyes catch on Hanma's who watches you with a smirk. You narrow your eyes back at him which only serves to help the smirk grow wider on his face.
When you get to the car way before Mitsuya and Hakkai arrive, Emma and Yuzuha have bright smiles on their faces.
"What's going on?" you ask worriedly. "What are you so hyper about?"
"While Taka-chan was in his funk this week, he did a little wedding preparation for us," Yuzuha giggles.
"It took him all week!" Emma adds excitedly

"He did? What is it?"
The girls look at each other. "Probably 'cause he couldn't get it off his mind," Yuzuha hums.
You shake your head at their vague answers at just the same time Mitsuya and Hakkai approach. Mitsuya then pops open the trunk and pulls out a black garment bag.
"This is for you," he offers. "I don't know if you have something picked out for the wedding or not but if you don't then you could, uh, wear this if you'd like."
You accept it a bit speechlessly. "Thanks, Takashi," you smile. "This is really sweet of you."
As he smiles softly and nods, you can't seem to take your eyes off of him. All week you had been avoiding him, thinking that all he was doing was holding Yuzuha in his arms, when in reality he was doing something for you. You really are such a bad friend.
"Now!" Emma's loud voice interrupts the silent conversation going on in your head. "Since I'm the bride, I'd like to see how it looks on you!"
"We should get Hina!" Yuzuha gasps.
"Good idea," Emma nods. "You grab Hina and we'll all meet in the bathroom!"
As Emma leads you back into the brewery, completely oblivious to the way you're staring down her brother's friend, Yuzuha stays behind and pats Mitsuya on the shoulder. As for Hakkai, who's also oblivious, he waves goodbye as he watches you walk away.
"Sorry, but you can't see it on her just yet," Yuzuha smiles before saying something in a more hushed voice that you can't quite make out.
Once you get to the huge bathroom that really could double as a dressing room, you place the dress's hanger on a hook and unzip the bag. As the dress is revealed, your jaw drops to the ground.
"No way," you breathe.
"Wow, it's so pretty," Emma hums as she stands just beside you. "I can't believe he actually made that..."
"It looks so familiar," you mutter as you narrow your eyes, trying to place where you've seen it before.
Just then, Yuzuha runs in with Hina in tow. They both gasp as their eyes land on your new dress.
"Yuzuha, did you really ask him to make this for me?" you ask her.
"Yeah, so you better wear it," she smiles as she steps closer. "It's yours now anyway!"
"Shouldn't I pay him for it at least? I mean he went to all of this trouble-"
"Don't. He went to all this trouble, as you put it, for you. Whether or not he'll admit it to my face, he wanted to make this for you!"
"You should try it on, Y/N!" Hina smiles at you.
"Yeah, come on, Y/N!" Emma squeals. "Please!"
A bit hesitantly you grab the dress and walk into one of the unnaturally large stalls lining one of the walls of the bathroom. You step into the dress quite slowly, a bit nervous to ruin it like you did with Yuzuha's wedding gown.
"Okay, I'm coming out now!" you call to your friends as you let out a deep breath.
The three of them cheer as you unlock the door, but silence befalls the room as you step out.
"Does it look... good?"
Yuzuha beams as she runs towards you and pulls you towards a mirror. The girl who stands before you is almost unrecognizable. Despite the somewhat marked up face from Mikey's little punishment, she's quite beautiful. It's almost unbelievable how well Mitsuya was able to transform you into the way you stand before yourself and your friends now.
