《{WICKED GAMES} Mitsuya x Fem!Reader》thirty

Your eyes shoot open to the sound of shouting from far away. As you sit up, you begin to realize you had been sleeping in Yuzuha's bed. It's dark now, so you've probably been lying down for quite some time. As you sit up a loud sting impacts the side of your head. Great, another headache.
You stand up slowly and wait for a bit of dizziness to die down before wobbling your way over to the closed door. You stabilize yourself for a second as your hand reaches the doorknob while you catch your breath.
Before opening the door, your eyes catch on Yuzuha's nearby mirror. In your reflection you find yourself wearing a Toman jacket that's too big to be your own. Not to mention it has the familiar faint scent of cologne the Mitsuya's keen to wearing.
You wonder if he's downstairs. You really should thank both him and Yuzuha for helping you out before. You can hardly remember how you even got yourself in that situation...
Slowly, you turn the doorknob and stagger over to the stairs. You're quite silent as you begin to descend them. Mitsuya and Yuzuha come into view first, sitting side by side, though they don't notice you. Hakkai sits across from them with a concerned expression on his face. He's all beat up, too. You stop about halfway down the stairs and none of them notice.
"So, uh, I'm not exactly sure who did it but Chikao is, um, gone..."
You throw your hand over your mouth to keep yourself from gasping and sink down onto the steps to remain hidden from the group. Kisaki and Hanma's plan to swallow Toman into Otsuda is finally over. There's no more Chikao, and Kisaki's severely injured thanks to Mikey and Yuzuha. Who knows what happened to Hanma.
Yuzuha wails when she hears the news and throws her arms around Mitsuya who, in turn, does his best to comfort her. It's only then that Hakkai looks up and sees you sitting on the stairs with a pained look on your face. However, his expression looks even more wounded than yours.
Thinking that it's about time to make your presence known, you walk downstairs and silently take a seat beside Hakkai.
"Are you alright?" he whispers.

You glance over at Mitsuya who's too busy comforting Yuzuha to even notice you're there.
"Fine," you respond simply.
Yuzuha sniffles when she hears your voice and looks over at you. "Y/N, I'm so glad you're okay," she smiles softly.
"All because of you," you nod. "Thanks, Yuzuha."
She sniffles once more but wipes her eyes and nods silently.
"Do you want a ride home?" Hakkai asks. "You don't have your bike around."
"That'd be nice," you sigh a bit relieved at the thought of going home. "Mine is kinda trashed..."
When you look across at the others, Mitsuya gives you a bit of a strange glance, but you smile back at him politely despite being a bit confused at the gesture.
"Alright, just give me a sec," Hakkai nods as he stands up and walks off to gather his things.
You regrettably take off Mitsuya's jacket and place it beside him on the arm of the couch as you stand up. His hands are too preoccupied with holding onto Yuzuha to let go anyway.
"Thank you for letting me borrow your jacket," you hum a bit painfully. You'd much rather keep the warm jacket, than give it back to be completely honest. But it isn't yours, so giving it back is the right thing to do.
Mitsuya opens his mouth to speak, but before he can get any words out, Hakkai calls to you.
"C'mon, Y/N, let's go."
"Sure," you nod as you wave to Yuzuha and Mitsuya and walk off.
When you get to the door, you pause for a moment and look back at the two on the couch only to find Mitsuya still comforting Yuzuha. You're the one with the bloody face, not her, so why?
After that, you walk out pretty quickly without caring to give another passing glance to the two of them. You hop right onto the back of Hakkai's bike and zoom off. The ride is admittedly a bit quiet, but you don't mind much as you lay your cheek against his warm shoulder and watch the passing buildings.
When you arrive, Hakkai helps you into your house. You ask him to leave you on your sofa, you don't feel like walking all the way to the bed. He nods and does as you ask without much feedback, besides his obvious concern that you won't be able to get as good a rest on the sofa as you would in your bed. Little does he know that your bed is shitty as hell.

As he lays you down, you notice that he's staring a bit strangely at your face. It's not until he pulls away and stands back up does he admit he's a bit concerned.
"Umm, you've got a good amount of blood on your face still..." he comments a bit unsure how to address the somewhat sensitive topic.
"I'll shower later," you grumble tiredly.
"No, no, don't get up! I can help!" he gasps.
"What!? Hakkai, no it's fine!" you shout a bit too late as he runs off to your bathroom.
When he comes back, a seriously cold, wet towel is slapped onto your face. "Ugh, this feels so gross. Aren't you just rubbing it in?" you wine.
"No, of course not," he shakes his head as he narrows his eyes in concentration. "I'm just trying to get it off. It's kinda dried so it's a bit difficult..."
"God, if you wanted me to shower you could have just said so," you grumble in pain at the grotesque sensation of the towel smearing dried blood around your face.
"I'm sorry but please stay still. I'm almost done," he sighs as he continues to focus on one spot of your forehead that causes you to wince in pain.
"Are you alright?" he asks, "Cut there's deep."
"Fine," you squeak despite the way tears begin to swell up in your eyes. "How's Mikey?"
"Mikey?" he hums, a bit thrown off by your sudden question. "He'll be fine after some rest."
"And Draken?"
"Alive and well," he smiles. "He's with Mikey and Emma."
"How about Hanma?"
"I've got no clue," he shrugs. "But it's strange, I thought I saw him talking to Mikey before I left."
"You did? That damn jerk is going to talk his way out of this, isn't he?" you groan.
"Well, he is your boyfriend apparently," Hakkai chuckles. "So I guess you would know, wouldn't you?"
"Not funny," you roll your eyes.
"Alright then let me clean the rest of your face before it stays like this forever," he teases as a slight grin grows on the corner of his lips.
"Come on, Hakkai," you pout. "You don't have to say it like that."
"Sorry, but if you're not pretty again in time for Emma's wedding she might not let you go."
"That's enough," you chuckle. "Being mean doesn't suit you."
"That's funny. I swear I heard Hanma say almost the same thing to Mitsuya earlier this evening."
"I swear if you're going to make another Hanma joke..."
"Of course not," he grins as he dabs at a cut just above your eye. "I won't torture you anymore."
Well speaking of torture...
"How's Takashi doing? I didn't get to talk to him much."
"Hm? Takashi?" he asks, a bit thrown off guard once more. "He's just worried about you and Yuzuha like I am, but he'll be fine. You should have seen him talking to Mikey before though. He was super convincing!"
"He was? About what?"
"He was going on and on about how he should have trusted you more and how important you are to him," he hums casually as a smirk tugs on his lips.
You feel your face heat up at the way he watches your reaction to his words. "Don't say sappy stuff like that," you grumble.
"What? It's true though!"
"Okay, okay, enough with the actual torture. I'm going to go shower," you groan.
"Huh? But I'm really not trying to make it worse. Besides, you shouldn't get up right now if you don't have to!"
"I'll be fine. And don't worry, I can undress myself like a big girl, too," you tease as you slowly stand up.
His face turns beet red as he watches you walk across the room and close the bathroom door behind you. But the second you lock yourself in, you sink down against the bathroom door and wrap your arms around your knees.
What the hell is going on, Hanma was talking to Mikey? Takashi was comforting Yuzuha over the death of Chikao?
