He bowed to everyone and walk past them as he open the door of the balcony. " babe? Are you okay? Why are you away from us? From me?" He pouted as he back hugs you, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder. " You know I do not like to be in crowded places but because it is your birthday I came here for you," you reach to caress his cheek behind you. " I have your gift right here in this tiny box, but I shy to give it to you in front of them because I also want...to say some things" you blushed while saying this.
James chuckled holding you closer to him. He looks at your side and smirk. "And what is it you're gonna tell me? Show me the gift?" He said softly. Your smile widens as you pull out a small box in front of him. "Open it up" you felt your heart feeling excited hoping he like it. He opens the box and sees two black bracelets in there. Both bracelets had a black little screen in the middle. " what's this?" He asks studying one bracelet. " it's a long-distance bracelet, in other words, it's a bond touch bracelet...I already got it to fix up, I choose your little light to be blue but you can always change it...mine is purple " you chuckled as you release a heavy breath. " basically whenever we're far from each other, and you miss me, and instead of texting or calling, tap the little screen and I'll get the vibration from it on my bracelet..." you explained.

You watch him how he was in awe with his bracelet and how it works. " oh my god! This is such a unique gift! And I like it! Thank you baby girl!" he holds you by your waist and picks you up as he twirls you around and kisses your lips softly. " I'm glad you liked it! I was struggling to think what I should give you! I'm just writing this to keep my fingers moving, so it won't have too much effort in it, but if you like stories like the beginning of the (good) reincarnated-as-a-dragon light novel, I'm sure you'll like this one. Popcorn isekai fic. The cover, drawn by yours truly, will reflect the current evolution of the main character. Also, he'll be pretty weak-to-strong, since, well, maggots are kind-of-really weak.

I'm sure I'm in for some colorful criticism, But if even a few people enjoy this, I'd be happy. As of right now the story is set in Delaware around 2005'ish'. A young man from the streets, aquires a beta test invitation in an unorthodox way. The plan is to have a comical adventure in an experimental virtual reality game. As for the setting, the story starts in XXI century, which technology-wise isn't much different from what we have now, but it is enhanced by magic associated with Talents. This allowed the humankind to colonize the solar system, but the technology that allows for interstellar travel doesn't exist (yet). Because it’s my first attempt at LitRPG, please be forgiving but constructive.
