(A few days later)
As I was attacking Hazelee with kisses while we cuddled in my bed; her uncontrollable giggles only made my smile grow wider. It's been a long week and I'm about ready to quit my job because my co-workers fucking suck but moments like these always make me happy, and it's Friday, thank god. My phone buzzed making me pull away from Hazelee, "give me a minute," I told her with a smile, seeing a Snapchat from Billie.
"It's Bil-Bil," I said out loud.
"Bil-Bil?" Hazelee asked adorably.
"Yes," I giggled grabbing my water and letting Hazelee see the screen as I opened the Snapchat.
is hazey still at daycare?
Nope
perfect! come over and bring your swimming stuff
Okay, be there in 20
can't wait
"Looks like we're going swimming."
"Yay!" Hazelee cheered, running off to her room. I laughed at her adorable excitement and I have to admit, I was probably equally excited. I grabbed a bikini, pulling a large t-shirt over it before grabbing a hat and getting Hazelee ready as well.

I watched as Billie held Hazelee in her arms, leading me to her backyard which I surprisingly enough have never really seen except for when I peered through french doors leading out to a patio.
"So, I set up something especially for Hazelee," she smirked excitedly, walking past the huge in-ground pool.
There it was, off to the side of the green grass, an adorable kiddie pool. Attached to it was a small slide, and a water sprinkler. "I couldn't get the slip 'n' slide working but I figured she's maybe too little for it anyway," Billie explained happily, Hazelee's eyes sparkling with excitement at the bright colours of the pool.
"This is- amazing," I shook my head in awe. The fact that she thought of Hazey and set up something for her meant more to me than anything. Not even Dion or Rory have ever done something like this.
"I thought we could have fun in it too," Billie smiled at me with a shrug.

"Swim," Hazelee shouted while clapping her hands. I had already put her in her swimsuit so Billie set her down in the water before removing her large shirt, revealing a black bikini, and I must admit, she was hot.
"Come come," Hazelee repeated, splashing her hands in the water.
"Alright, I'm coming," I chuckled, removing my own shirt as Billie attempted to fit down the tiny children's slide, making Haze giggle loudly.
I sat down in the cool water, feeling relieved as it was a pretty hot day. "Oh shit, sunscreen," I remembered. Beginning to stand up but Billie grabbed my shoulders, gently pushing me back down. "I'll get it," she assured me, running towards the house.
"Bil-Bil?" Hazelee frowned, looking around to try and spot her.
"She'll be right back," I smiled, beginning to start a splashing war.
"Alright, here's the sunscreen," Billie handed it to me, slightly out of breath. "And," she smiled mischievously, holding out a beach bag, "I have a few more things for you Haze," she captured Hazelee's attention as her little eyes peered up at her.
"We've got," she started, reaching her hand into the beach bag, "a beach ball," she tossed it into the water making Hazelee's smile even wider. "Frogs," she placed two plastic frogs into the water, "A little flamingo and lastly some lemonade," she pulled out two bottles of lemonade, placing them beside the pool.
After lathering Hazelee with sunscreen she was now distracted with the toys, playing happily as Billie sat down across from me in the pool. Billie picked up one of the fogs pretending to make it jump towards Hazey, making a 'Ribbit' sound, in return Hazelee laughed and attempted to say the word 'ribbit' along with Billie.
"Thank you," I said softly. This girl enamoured me and she sure as hell has won me over.
"Of course, I love shit like this," she then covered her mouth, "I mean stuff."
"It's okay, I curse in front of her," I laugh, "I'm raising her to know that those are adult words," I explained, Billie nodding her head.

"You're so good with her," I smiled softly, watching her interact with Hazey.
"Kids love me," she shrugged, "I mean, I'm practically a child...but I never thought you would be a kid person?"
"Trust me, I wasn't," I shook my head. I used to despise children, they annoyed me and I never wanted to be near them but when Hazelee was born, everything changed, I changed. "I'm still not really great with kids, just Hazelee."
"Makes sense," Billie nodded, grabbing her phone from beside the pool.
"Carcar look!" Hazelee called out and I watched her as she slid down the slide, suddenly hearing a camera shutter go off.
"Did you just take a picture of me?" I gasped, my head snapping towards Billie.
"Yeah, you look good," Billie said casually.
"Let me see," I held out my hand, snatching her phone. "No, this ain't it, take another one," I handed back her phone and she chuckled as I posed properly. She handed me the phone so I could approve of the photo.
"Send that to me," I told her, handing the phone back.

After about an hour of swimming, I could tell Hazelee was getting sleepy and it just so happened to be her bedtime. "Hazey, should we go home? It's your bedtime."
"No no no," she shook her head with a pout.
"Why don't you two just sleep here?" Billie proposed.
"That's not necessary, I don't want to take up your Friday night."
"I had nothing else planned."
"It's okay. We should go," I declined though now Hazelee was crying, making it ten times harder to decline Billie's offer.
"I mean, you can go but if it changes your mind, I want you to stay," Billie pressed on and I'll admit I was too tired to argue.
"Alright," I sighed, picking up Haze and starting to dry her off.
After changing her into a pair of pyjamas that I conveniently had in her diaper bag, Billie, Hazelee, and I gathered on the bed in Billie's guest room. Although Hazelee wasn't having it as she jumped up and down in between us, giggling.
"Hazey, come lie down. I'm tired," I yawned, trying to pull her down but she began kicking and pouting.
"Hazelee," Billie caught her attention, "you want me to sing you something?"
Hazelee nodded her head exaggeratedly. "Then you gotta lie down, okay?"
"Okay," she gave in, finally getting under the covers between us.
"Now close your eyes cutie," Billie whispered, beginning to run her fingers through the little amount of hair she had.
"Wake up and smell the coffee. Is your cup half full or empty?" She began singing softly as Hazelee's eyes fell heavy. I watched Billie as she peered at Hazelee, softly stroking her hair. A small smile played on my lips as she continued singing. I couldn't help but fall in a daze as her voice softly rang through the room. It was angelic, euphoric even...actually there's no way to describe hearing her voice this up close and personal.
By the time the song was done, Hazelee was asleep and I reached over the little body holding out my hand, Billie chuckled, softly giving me a high-five before we tiptoed out of the room, shutting the door behind us.
"Thank you," I exhaled.
"Of course, she's perfect."
"You are seriously so good with her," I exclaimed, following Billie to her room. She simply shrugged as we entered her room.
After we had both changed into comfy clothes we were laying in bed on our separate phones. Shark laying in between us as I pet his head softly. "I want a puppy," I stated, breaking the comfortable silence.
"You should get one! Sharky needs more friends," she put her phone down, turning towards me, giving shark some attention as well.
"Maybe I will."

The one no one else dared speak to. Rex's anger issues always got the best of him, even when that idiot girl came tumbling into his life. She just wouldn't leave him the fuck alone. No matter how much he liked it. He could convince himself he wasn't good for her as much as he wanted. It didn't matter, she wouldn't let him be and he would soon refuse to let her go. Completely oblivious to her own darkness raging beneath the surface.*WARNING: This story has quite a few very possessive and controlling men. If that kind of thing isn't for you, this book definitely won't be.** There is also talk of anxiety, panic attacks, and some drug-use mentions.ALSO this story will have a LOT of chapters! It's filled with triggers (mentioned above), but also a bunch of cute scenes, fluff moments, adoring toe-curling moments, and a plot you won't see coming!
