"Should we watch another movie?" She asks.

"You just fell asleep dude, let's go to bed."

"I'm not tired anymore," she defends only for a yawn to escape her mouth. "Okay, fine maybe I am tired," she frowns.

I watch as Carter stands up and starts to walk down the hallway. I examine her hair and the way it is messily falling out of her bun but somehow still looks amazing. The tattoos on the back of her leg draw extra attention, and I may have accidentally glanced a little at her ass because I couldn't help it. She turns back at me and asks "well are you coming?"

I snap out of my thoughts and get up, following her down the short hallway.

Her bedroom is considerably different than the rest of her apartment. Not so empty and cold. There are band posters up on her walls, and a small closet stuffed to the brim with clothes.

There's a desk pushed up on one of the walls with some recording equipment, not a lot, but enough to make decent music. Beside the desk, there's a guitar, ukulele, and an electric keyboard. Along the other wall is a dresser with a speaker and a few other trinkets.

Her large bed is pushed up in the corner and has a black blanket.

"Alright I'm going to the bathroom, you can borrow anything from here," she says opening up one of the drawers in the dresser. I nod and watch as she walks out of her room.

I scavenge around in the drawer, finding large band t-shirts, pyjama pants, and comfy shorts.

I quickly throw on an oversized 'Green Day' shirt and keep my sweatpants on, then hop on her bed.

When she comes back in she looks at me and smirks before turning the lights off. The lamp on her nightstand is now the only thing lighting up the room. I feel the weight on the bed shift as she gets on it and sits next to me.

"You ever wonder why people get placed in your life?" She questions, staring at the silk sheets.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know, it's just weird. We are living our life and people come and leave. Sometimes good people, sometimes bad. It's just weird," she speaks softly.

"Yeah?"

"Sorry. I'm just really in my head right now" she apologizes with a chuckle.

"No, it's okay. Is there something going on?" I watch her and see a flash of sorrow before she changes her expression.

"No. I'm good." She grins.

"Okay," I nod, shrugging it off. I get under the covers as she does the same.

"Now I'm not tired," she grumbles. A little laugh escapes my mouth as I lay down with my head propped up on my hand, facing her.

"Then let's talk," I suggest.

"About?" She questions.

"I don't know. I'm basically sleeping at a stranger's house. Tell me about your life."

She takes a deep breath and lays down facing me.

"Well, I have an older sister, and my parents aren't together. I haven't spoken to my father in months but my mom and stepdad are really nice," she explains softly.

"But I moved out because they drive me crazy. They're super overprotective and I guess that's why I started rebelling at a young age."

"Baddie" I joke.

"So bad," she winks sarcastically.

"My sister is 22. My mom married my stepdad when I was 8. I love him and everything but he tries way too hard to be my 'real dad' and he's just not. The only reason I haven't spoken to my dad is because he's been in prison. I know that sounds crazy but he was drinking and driving and killed someone in a car accident." She stops and takes a deep breath. "Sorry, I'm rambling."

"No, I like hearing about your life. I'm tired of explaining mine over and over again," I smile.

"Yeah," she sighs. "I'm sorry, it must be hard."

"It's okay, I wouldn't change it," I smile softly, telling the truth. "Tell me more!"

"What do you want to know?"

"I don't know. What was your childhood like?"

"It was messy. My parents were always fighting. I'd fall asleep hearing them yelling at each other."

"I'm sorry. You don't deserve that," I frown and take her hand, lacing our fingers together. I watch her expression change and she smiles, looking at our hands.

"So, what about now? What's life like now?"

"It's good, but if I'm being completely honest it's pretty lonely." She shrugs.

"Well, now you have me."

"Oh do I?" She lifts her head pursing her lips together with raised eyebrows.

I look up and see her staring into my eyes. My heart skips a beat and I can feel my face begin to heat up.

My eyes involuntarily move down to her lips and I see her smirk grow.

I really wanna kiss her. Fuck.

When Billies eyes flicker from my eyes to my lips I feel my heart beat faster and faster. Do we want the same thing?

Fuck it, I say to myself, glancing down at her lips and wrapping my hand around the side of her neck, inching closer to her. Before I know it, our lips are locked. She doesn't do anything to stop it. Our lips seem to mould together perfectly as they move in sync. The feeling of her soft lips is magical making my head starts to spin.

The kiss only lasts a moment before Billie pulls away.

"Was that okay?" She asks. So close I can still feel her breath on my lips.

I answer by placing my lips on hers again and deepening it this time, slowly forcing my tongue into her mouth as she moves her body closer. I feel her hand move to my hair as she brushes through it.

The kiss quickly gets heated and I get worked up quickly. Our lips syncing up as my tongue explores her mouth. I can feel her heartbeat faster as she swings a leg over my body and I lay flat. My hands roam the sides of her figure, settling on her ass which makes her smile into the kiss.

She moves her hands to cup both sides of my cheeks. My hands start to wander her sides again and I feel her shiver on top of me.

Billie soon pulls away and we both catch our breath.

"Your so hot, fuck," she says breathlessly.

"Have you ever looked at yourself?" I chuckle.

"Shut up," she jokes and I push her off of me playfully.

"Okay, now I'm tired," I mumble, staring at the ceiling.

"Then let's sleep," Billie says.

"Or we could do something else," I smirk.

"You just said you were tired," she chuckles.

"Hmm," I hum, pretending to be deep into thought about what I want.

I turn and face her, she does the same. Our eyes lock and they pierce into my soul, sending shivers over my whole body.

"I think we should sleep."

"Your such a tease," she rolls her eyes at me which causes me to let out a chuckle.

"Goodnight." I close my eyes, a small smile playing on my lips

Suddenly I feel her soft lips on my cheek for a moment and just as I feel her begin to pull away I grab both sides of her face, kissing her lips quickly.

"What was that for?" she asks, pulling away.

"I like your lips" I smile, eyes still closed.

"Okay, softy," she jokes and turns my lamp off.

"Goodnight Bil" I sigh.

"Goodnight Carter," she yawns which puts a smile on my face.
