《Stone Cold Pacifist (Horror Sans x Reader)》:.Three questions.:

---Sans' Pov---

It's been a day since the conflict took place. The first thing that I did was teleport (Y/n)'s limp body into the bathroom to patch up her wounds while also applying a small amount of my healing magic to her. My healing wasn't exactly amazing since high LV had a heavy influence on how effective your ability to heal was.

Even though it barely did anything, I guess that I just liked the idea of my magic working to relieve her. Right now, it was functioning inside of her body... and for some reason, I liked that concept.

My brother was constantly trying to peer into the small room, hoping to get a glimpse of her wounds... or maybe he wanted to see if she was awake yet. "IS (Y/N) GOING TO BE OKAY, SANS?"

"Yeah. She'll be fine." I mumbled. The response that I gave him was clearly underlined with hostility... she was bleeding quite a bit, and I didn't want anyone near her while she was hurt. I made sure to keep my hoodie wrapped around her body. My scent from the clothing was enough to convince me that others would keep their distance. It was a strong smell, but oddly was not the kind that would make someone too hungry.

No, what often made a Monster hungry was the sight of prey looking weak. Cooked flesh produced a different smell that would also attract others... but blood wasn't as appealing in comparison. It's just that hers smelt sweet, and had a taste that could oddly relax the consumer. It almost reminded me of Monster food.

Monster food... monster food... but why?

Ugh, I can't hold my train of thought here. Anyway-

Papyrus started referring to her by her name after what happened, he'd ask how she was doing and if she'd be waking up anytime soon... tibia honest, I wasn't too sure. (Y/n) was tough, and after fighting that other Human... I knew that she was unique in her abilities.

Age was probably not much of a factor. Someone could be her age and still function just as bad as a child in these situations.

My brother wanted her to initially take his bed since he thought that my room was too messy. As a result, I actually growled at him and told him that she wasn't going to be leaving my bed. After which, we got into a bit of an argument that allowed me to recover my senses. When I became more stable, I lied to him by saying that she was too fragile to move.

He believed me.

For some reason, the smell of her blood was so alluring to me- that I didn't want to allow anyone to even look at her. Keeping (Y/n) locked up in my room helped me to remain calm. But otherwise? I would of been trying to kill anyone that got too close.

Now there was something else to address. After we got back and I made sure that (Y/n) was alright... I went to patch up that other Human. I knew that he wouldn't make it in the end since the trap punctured one of his lungs and caused some internal bleeding.

For now, I was just keeping him alive through a variety of medications and tools. Every few hours, I was visiting him... breaking certain bones and causing a lot of suffering while I asked questions. I wanted to know what he was doing here.

And after a long session of torture, he finally told me that (Y/n) was his target. "L-Look... I was paid to kill her."

"Oh? And why is that?" I asked. Leaning forward from my seat with interest, I could tell that he was gaging from the scent of decay. Sure the basement smelt like crap, but (Y/n) handled it pretty well. (Y/n)... hmm. My Soul didn't like hearing that one bit. She was being hunted by Humans that wanted her dead.

I had to keep my cool- even if my Soul was trying to put me in some kind of overprotective mode.

"You.. d-don't kn... know?" He started choking on his own blood, making it even harder to speak. He had no hands, was missing an eye, had skin peeled off in some areas... both of his legs were broken along with several ribs. Yeah, I took out a lot of aggression on him in a fairly short period of time.

"Don't know what?" I tried to ask this, but I knew that I wasn't going to get much of an answer. his breathing was already getting strained, and his eyes were closing.

"She's..." He coughed loudly, unable to fall out of his chair since he was tied down by a few ropes that were obviously digging into his skin. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth as I tapped my fingers against the arm rest of my chair impatiently. "Dangerous..."

After he said that, he fell limp in his chair. I broke him in such a short period of time, but risked his death coming a lot sooner. He didn't give me the details that I wanted... but his last word was said in such a straight forward way that it sent a shiver right down my spine.

Not a shiver out of fear- oh no.

It was excitement.

Walking back upstairs and into the kitchen, I gave a small wave to Paps who was cutting the sniper's hands into small portions for his next spaghetti. "It's all yours, Paps... but uh. Leave me the head."

I didn't even bother to give him the respect of calling him a Human. I was feeling a little bit agitated that he died a little too fast for me- but at least I got to learn a bit more about (Y/n). Though I really did have my suspicions by now.

Once Papyrus passed by me to go into the basement, I ended up teleporting into my room. Some of the scattered clothing and pieces of papers were cleaned up a bit. Or more or less just shoved into a corner.

Since I haven't been able to sleep with the smell of that male Human in the house, after finally managing to kill him... I decided to get some rest. (Y/n)'s body was still unresponsive, but she did look a lot better than earlier.

Climbing onto the tattered mattress, I carefully moved my body over hers. When I was positioned on her opposite side, I slid my arms around her chest and dragged her into my ribcage. Maybe she would of felt a bit uncomfortable by this position- but I was pleasantly warm from it.

Earlier, I was planning on taking a sample of her blood to try and figure out that strange intoxicating scent and taste... but I was at a loss once I started to continuously lose my train of thought. I haven't done the whole science thing in awhile.

Shaking away those thoughts as I nuzzled my skull into her neck, I decided to get some rest. After about a minute, I was asleep... she really did make that whole nap thing much easier.

---(Y/n)'s Pov---

Sans was holding me down, and I really couldn't move since he had an iron grip on me. How long has he been asleep for? A minute? Maybe an hour?

"SANS. YOU'VE BEEN SLEEPING FOR NINE HOURS. IS (Y/N) AWAKE YET?" Oh... so he has been out for awhile.

After a lot of banging on the door, Sans finally let out an annoyed groan before opening his single crimson eye that flashed slightly to show the use of magic. He peered around the room In confusion until his stare narrowed into a look of frustration once it landed on the door. He didn't want to wake up I guess. "You're awake."

"Indeed. Can you let me up now?" I asked. Sans let out a small teasing hum, only to bury his skull deeply into the crook of my neck. He was acting like a child right now. "Sans."

His eye shifted its attention towards me, waiting for my next words. Strangely, the skeleton almost seemed eager to hear what I had to say. "Mhmmm,,,"

What a lazy response. "I need to finish my repairs on the Core-"

And after I said that, Sans lifted his body off of me... only to grip my arm firmly before pulling me below him. Without hesitation, he straddled my hips while smashing his hands down at either side of my face to cage me. His behavior was too erratic... "And once ya finish, you're gonna try to leave me. Right?"

I shot him a look of confusion, especially since what he said sounded very possessive. Not only that, but when he said 'try to leave me', it almost sounded threatening. Reaching my hands up to try and shove him off, he only responded by trying to pin my hands above my head. Once he managed to do that, Sans leaned down until I could feel his chilling breath against my throat. "If you don't allow me to get up right this instant, I will be forced to put you in your place."

My warning caused him to chuckle darkly. Was he honestly amused by my threat? "Ya try anything on me, and you'll regret it."

Immediately, I knew that he was referring to my prototype. Since I was a bit disoriented from my long sleep, I practically forgot about it... "Perhaps a deal then?"

"What did ya have in mind?"

"We both get to ask each other three questions, absolutely no lies. You can be as specific as you want- however... if one of us lies, then we will receive some kind of punishment. It can be anything that you want... or that I want."

Thankfully, he looked pretty interested and even decided to back off from me. Letting me get up was one thing, but his next question may of complicated this game. "Okay. But how do I know that you wont lie?"

"I always keep a promise. So therefore- I promise not to lie." I admitted truthfully. Sans stared at me for a moment, but he eventually nodded his skull. It looked as though he was deep in thought because he was scratching at the crack in his head.

"Fine then. But trust me- I'll know if you lie." He stated with a menacing grin. I only responded with a nod while also mumbling a small 'likewise.' And with that, we started... "Okay. While on the surface, did ya do something that got you in trouble?"

"Yes."

"What was-"

"Now it is my turn." I stated blankly. He shot me a glare after understanding the extent of these questions. Unless he intended on being specific, he wouldn't be getting much of an answer. "What did you do to make Papyrus stop knocking on the door"

His eye suddenly widened, he was clearly surprised by my perceptive nature. Paps wasn't the type to simply stop when he wanted something- in fact, he only ever become more persistent. "I used my magic to give him a bit of a scare."

Sans took a moment after his answer to think of a good question that I wouldn't be able to evade. He started to scratch at the interior of his eye socket, only to stop once he came up with an inquiry. "What did you do to make those Humans hunt you down."

Ah... now that question wasn't as detailed as it needed to be. It wasn't the right question to ask, because even if that group represented the law... they were after me because of the high grade fuel that I stole. "I took something from them, and they really didn't take too kindly to it."

This game was slowly pissing him off... especially since he couldn't make me elaborate without using up another question. "Why haven't you killed me?"

The skeleton froze slightly... for a second there, I thought that he was going to lie from that simple sensitive inquiry. However, I wasn't prepared for his answer- "Because I like you."

Something so innocent... something that could be used to define friendship... why did it make me feel suddenly nervous.

"Do you like me?"

................

Damnit, I think that I just messed up. I dragged his attention away from the conversation, but at what cost? Now I needed to give him an honest answer on something that I don't even completely comprehend. Though in the end, I knew the answer. I knew it because I interacted with him differently. "Yes."

Ugh... Focus (Y/n).

"If more people come here in an attempt to kill me- will you stop them?" I carefully asked, though my words were slightly shaken from my last answer. Sans gave me a very serious look, his posture showed something slightly aggressive- was he... acting protective?

"Yeah."
