We walked through the a corridor Caspian and I already dressed for battle.
"This is not what we meant. This is our fight" Caspian pleaded
"Look I know you want to be the ones doing this but if there is ever going to be peace with the Telmarines you both have to be the ones who bring it."
"How can we if you won't let us" I replied
"Not like this"
"If i don't make it then Narnia's future is in your hands" Peter looked at us
"And what about your future?" i questioned
"I was thinking about a career in medicine" he turned back round. Trumpkin had found Peter old Narnian armour. Trumpkin handed Peter his helmet.
"Your Highness" A bulgy bear asked
"Yes"
"I'm a bear i am"
"And a fine one I'm sure"
"Begging your pardon but tradition holds that you pick your marshals before the fight"
"he's right you need seconds" Caspian stated
"don't let him he'll just fall asleep and suck his paws" Trumpkin informed Peter.
"Trumpkin don't be mean" i scold
"Your Majesty my life is at your service and i thought i might be set for this challenge" Reep spoke i raise a eyebrow as Trumpkin tried not to laugh
"As you know my good Reepicheep many humans are afraid of mice and it really wouldn't be fair for Miraz to have anything inside that could further dilute his courage" Peter let him down gently.
"of course your majesty is the mirror of honour. That is exactly what i was thinking" I was amused by all of this i looked at my brother to see he was too"
"Caspian tell Glenstorm I want him Ed and..."
"please your majesty" the bulgy bear pleaded
"It is your right and my honour. But you must remember not to suck your paws" Peter went for his shield

"awh he's doing it right now" Trumpkin exclaimed i just laughed
"are you sure your ready for this?" he asked i sobered up
"are you sure that you are?" i asked his smile dropped and i decided to clear the tension
"Caspian why don't you deliver Peter's message. Peter why don't i help you ready yourself i can give you some pointers."
"yeah okay then. you are all dismissed" Reep, Trumpkin and the bear left Caspian gave me a knowing look and i stuck my tongue out at him he laughed leaving. I began to help Peter.
"don't trust him and tried to be prepared for him playing dirty." i started
"oh and give him an injury so you can use it to your advantage"
"okay"
"what else oh never turn your back unless you know he has left first. Surprise attacks are a specialty."
"Katerina" i stopped
"what?" i asked
"Were alone and your really giving me pointers"
"well yes you need to be prepared."
"what i need is luck"
"Luck has nothing to do with it talent and skill is what wins a fight. I should know remember" he laughed
"i know but that's not the kind of luck i was referring to. Look i know we've just started a clean slate and all but if i die in the challenge or battle i would have one thing to make sure i had no regrets"
"and what would that be" i asked confused
"this" he planted his lips firmly on mine. I felt a jolt of thunder through me and kissed back it was amazing but yet again a moment had to be interrupted by someone clearing their throat. i pulled away.
"I seem to be ending all your moments but Miraz has accepted. And is waiting outside"" Peter shook his head seeming to clear his daze.

"alright" Edmund left and it was just us to again. I stepped away and handed Peter his sword and shield.
"You win that fight and you might be getting another one of those" I stated handing him his helmet With one hand he put it on.
"Better win then hadn't I " he grinned We both walked out together. We arrived near the entrance where snow my horse was waiting for me. I swung myself on and turned to face the Kings.
"good luck" i winked at Peter then trotted out of the how. going up the slope i saw that Lord Soepsian and another Lord were with Glozelle and Miraz i stopped on the right hand side of the troops. Narnian's began to cheer as Edmund and Peter walked out
(Watch video)
"I swung down when Caspian arrived back with Susan.
"Lucy?" Peter asked as he took respite
"she got through with a little help" she looked at my brother
"thanks"
"well you were busy"
"Get up there, i don't expect the Telmarines will keep their word" Susan hugged Peter but winced
"sorry" she mumbled
"its alright"
"Keep smiling" Edmund told his brother as Susan left Peter held up his sword smiling they cheered. Peter sat down and Caspian removed his shield.
"ah...i think its dislocated" i took his brother place and let he was right. i looked at Edmund
"he needs distracting" i mouthed but Peter must have read my mind because he started talking
"what do you think happens if we die here" he asked his brother "you know I've never really thanked" i popped his arm into place
"save it for later" Edmund told him. I helped him up and Caspian gave him his shield. Edmund offered his helmet but he refused.
(back to the video)
"now's not the time for chivalry Peter" Edmund called. Peter stood debating than began to walk away i saw Miraz stand up and pick his sword
"look out" i called Peter turned and jumped away before grabbing the sword and stabbing Miraz. he dropped to the ground. They exchanged words.
"it's not mine to take" Peter stood aside and offered the sword to us. Caspian and I looked at each other.
"together" we whispered and walked forward holding a part of the hadle.
"Maybe i was wrong maybe you do have the makings of a Telmarine king and Queen" the clicked something in both of us. If we killed him we'd be exactly like him we yelled and dug the word into a grass hole. he looked up
"not one like you" Caspian snarled
"keep your life but we're giving back the Narnian's their kingdom" We looked up at the General and Lord before walking away. Narnian's cheered.
