I studied the decapitated Vlitch in front of me. "Alpha, it's the Luna. She's asking for you." Jason said standing beside me. I let down the wall in my mind and was hit with full screams of my beautiful mate.

"THEO!!! COME QUICK! HURRY...." I laugh lightly, she barely even made it five minutes. "Wait babe, hold on what's wrong?" I linked, smiling like a goof. I was pleasantly surprised. Surely she could wait a few more moments. "It's MIA, SHES GONE, THEO GET UP HERE NOW!!!!!!"

Instantly I was off the floor and running to the pack house, my warriors on my tail. "Search the land, split up, anyone who's smiling, take them to the dungeons and lock them up. Question them all of them. We are looking for Vlitches, Vampires, Witches and, or any werewolves that aren't in the pack. GO!!!!" I yelled, using my Alpha tone.

How could my sister go missing without anyone realising it? Had they been here for a while and been using Mia's skin for a period of time?

No I couldn't think like this. I needed to make sure that Nala was okay. I needed to be with her.

'Dude, she's going to be fine, she was talking to you just then, if she was taken to she would have said 'Me and Mia have been taken,' but she didn't. She only mentioned Mia.' He thought trying to calm me down.

It wasn't working.

'She wouldn't want me to worry more about her and Mia, she knows I don't handle stress, I f**k it up.' I linked.

I began to run and without thinking Tyler took control and I shifted into my black wolf.

I shifted back to human as we entered the pack house. "NALA?!?" I yelled.

Her quiet voice came out in sobs. "Th... The... Theo... she's go... gone." She sniffled. Nala was sitting in the corner of Mia's room which was completely destroyed. "Theo... what do we do?"

That, I couldn't answer. I stood silent in the door way and stared at the chaos. Everything was completely destroyed. "Theo?" All of a sudden, my mind began to reel... my sister...

"Shut the fuck up Nala!" I said almost yelling at her. I didn't meet her eyes but I could tell she was hurt. I didn't mean to say that, it just slipped out but right now, I just wanted to find my sister.

Nala stood slowly and walked out the door. I didn't stop her. I wasn't about to start a fight in this head space. I just wanted to find my sister.

I filed around the room and scanned everything. Vampires always left something at the end of a kidnapping. Then I found what I was looking for.

It was small and the writing, elegant.

" Alpha Theo Lee, you have something that my Queen wants. From now, until I get that thing, people will go missing from your pack. Don't worry about your precious Mia, you might get her back. If you hurry. Each time someone goes missing, we will leave a note, each note will leave a hint. Here is your first clue:

The Queen of a Jungle "

I stared at the paper with such interest it intrigued me why. A Jungle? What the fuck have they smoking. A queen? Why couldn't these dickheads just leave me and my family alone?

My pack had never been involved with Vampires before now. We kept to ourselves. I felt like there was an unspoken treaty between us. Obviously I was wrong.

Really wrong.

A jungle? We lived in the woods. Some tourists called the woods a jungle but most call it a forest. Maybe I was over thinking this.

It had been sixteen days since Mia had been taken, two weeks and two days since I had touched Nala or barely even seen her. Nala had had Jade and Bella over a lot of the time and she was always crying about something. Every time that we had bumped into each other she seemed like she had more information to dump on me. All I wanted was to find my sister, I didn't have time or the care to worry about anything else but that.

Every second I had I thought of the note. Suddenly my stomach began to throb, and I heard an ear pitching squeal from upstairs. Immediately, I linked my mother. 'Mum check on Nala.'

I sat quietly and blocked out the outside world. 'Queen of the Jungle?' I thought. 'I need your input buddy...' I thought to Tyler.

Nothing.

Tyler hadn't been active for the past nine days. Lack of contact with Nala's wolf had fucked him up.

"THEO?!" my mother's yell had me off my chair and running up and into mine and Nala's room. Nala was in front of the toilet and my mother behind her holding her hair.

"This is the eighth time she has thrown up in two days. Why am I holding her hair and you are not?" my mother yelled rubbing Nala's back.

I shrugged it off and turned away to the door. "I don't know what's wrong with her. How can I help?" I said opening the door. I was half way down the hallway when I heard the murmur.

"Well if you were here you would know that I'm pregnant..."

I froze. We hadn't had sex since the first night... Pregnant?

She was pregnant.

I was gonna be a dad.

I strode back into the room and stared at her. "Why the f**k didn't you tell me?" I ordered. My mother's sharp intake of breath told me I should have been more polite but I didn't care. "Didn't you think I had a right to know? Seeming I'm the dad? Why did you hide it?"

She had finished cleaning her teeth, but tears still streamed down her face. "Are you serious Theo? I have been trying to tell you since I found out but your too down into finding your sister. I get it! She's your sister but I'm your mate, we are going to have a baby. Theo ask your pack for help so you get it done quicker, and we can be happy again." She said taking a step towards me and held my hand.

"Ask for help?!" I yelled wrenching my hand away from her. "Are you f**king kidding me? The rest of the people are either family or lower than me! They are incapable!" I yelled pushing her away from me. My mother caught her and strode up to me and stood in my face. "Theo Wade Lee, how dare you? This is your mate, you do not deserve such perfection at all." She said and instantly her hand became an acquaintance to the side of my face.

I glared at Nala. "I'm the father I should have been the first to know." I seethed. She shook her head. "With the way your acting, I wish you weren't." she uttered pushing past me. I turned and grabbed her arm wrenched her backwards. Instantly Tyler took control. Out of nowhere he was towering above her in my body.

"Nala, your beautiful. Don't put up with his f**king shit. I want this baby so much. And yeah Nina is perfect but I love you just as much." He said cradling her face. "I love you angel." And without speaking anymore, he captured her lips in a kiss that showed me what I was missing out on. I missed it. Half way through the kiss Tyler backed down and Mum walked out. "I miss you Theo, and I love you too Tyler, I just wish Theo was like this..."

Her eyes stayed shut and she didn't realise I was in control.

'What the fuck is wrong with you, you f**king twat. She is everything to us and you hurt her. Look at her. You just pushed her. Physically. You don't deserve her...' Tyler was almost screaming. 'I do deserve her, I just want my family.' I growled.

Nala's eyes flickered up at the growl and cowered back when she saw that I was in control. "Please Theo... I didn't mean it. Your fine... I don't wish you were like that... I'm sorry for the disrespect." She whispered and she moved from my grasp.

'Go to her. Love her Theo, she's carrying our child.' Tyler growled. I entered the bedroom and kneeled in front of her as she sat on the edge of the bed. She cringed away slightly as if she was expecting a slap.

"Nala?" I asked slowly. At first she didn't meet my eyes but I put a finger beneath her jaw and we made eye contact.

I saw emotions that I didn't even have words for in her eyes. She was slipping away. "I, Nala James, reject you, Theo Lee, as my mate." She said turning from me. I could tell that shock was written all over my face. I watched as the mark on her neck disappeared and left a scar. "I will raise this child away from you where it will grow in peace and learn to respect everyone, no matter how low their rank is in their pack." She said. I could feel the bond slipping.

The second I was realising that I was completely wrong to do what I did, I lose her.

"Nala, please..." I began to beg but she cut me off. "Theo, I was human. I don't know much about the mate bond but I'm pretty f**king sure that that's not how you treat them!" she yelled.

I shook my head and I could feel the tears well up. I'm a f**king Alpha! I will not cry. 'Dude you better show that emotion or I'm going to kick your ass.' Tyler yelled. I should care, she would love me all the same. So I let the tears brim over.

"Nala, please... I can't lose you." I begged, still crouching on the floor, but she shook her head. "No Theo, you mean you can't lose your child. It means more to you than I do!" she cried. I shook my head uncontrollably. "No Nala, that's not true." I said, the tears flowing freely now. "Get it out then, all I want is you. Sure I want a kid, but not yet. I'm happy I'm going to be the dad but if you want to prove that it's not the baby bringing me back, get it taken out." I whispered. "I know it sounds like I don't want the baby but when Tyler reminded me what it feels like to be with you again... something changed. I want you. Nala, I need you." I said a bit louder. "Prove that it's not the baby, let's get it taken out." She whispered.

Somehow my face fell impossibly lower. I held her and pulled away. The sparks were gone. Just skin. "It's worse than I thought it would be to get rejected." I whispered. I didn't meet her eyes and I kept staring at the ground. I could feel her stare so I looked up and met her shocked expression. "Theo..." she said pausing. "I just can't keep on like this." She said, a tear sliding out. "Please one more chance. Let me make you fall for me all over again but this time without the bond." I whispered but she shook her head.

"I love you Theo... I just don't want to be with you." She whispered. I wasn't ready for the 'L' word yet and she had said it regardless. "Love is a bit much don't you think?" I asked. She sat back down. "No Theo, I do. I love you. You are everything I have ever wanted in a man but you have everything I don't want as well. It's like I'm with Callen all over again." She said putting her face in her hands. I growled. "Nala, please..." I begged. And suddenly I didn't care. I needed her.

And without over thinking it, I claimed her lips like I hadn't in forever, which was half true.

It felt like forever as soon as she kissed me back.
