Ana hadn't moved from Damon's bed all night. She could barely get a wink of sleep with the burning hunger at her throat, and Damon's fussing wasn't very reassuring either. He'd stayed awake with her and had dialled every witch he knew twice. Unfortunately for them, no witch seemed to know what hex it was.
Tracing his fingers along Ana's forehead, Damon frowned deeply. "I wish I could do something more to help. If you need anything, name it. A blanket, the TV, a shower..."
"Perhaps some blood?" Ana asked, entirely unamused. She wasn't in the mood for anything flirty, not since her damn body was now screwed up. And to make matters worse, Jonas was now dead so it wasn't like they could go ask him what he'd done.
Damon frowned at his girlfriend's response, but before he could reply Stefan strolled into the room with his phone in hand. Sending a brief, concerned gaze to Ana, he said "Just got a hold of Bonnie. She should be here soon with Elena. Apparently she's going to bring some of Emily's grimoires in case they say anything. How you holding up?"
"Perfectly fine, Stefan, considering I can't keep down the one thing that keeps me living." Ana grunted, sitting up in bed despite Damon's sigh. Looking between both vampires, Ana added "How long until I dessicate? A month? A week? I mean, seriously, I may as well start planning my funeral now. Stupid witches."
A soft knock came from the door, and there stood Katherine, the cocky smirk from her lips completely gone. "Is it true? Has some witch hexed you?"
"Well... yeah." Ana replied, frowning to herself. The longer she went without blood, the weaker her body felt.
"Geez, Ana." Katherine murmured, stepping into the room and sitting on the other side of Ana. She watched her sister sadly, grabbing Ana's hand and rubbing circles along it. "You really get yourself in some awkward situations, huh? Don't worry, a member of the same bloodline as your witch can remove the hex."

His brows furrowed at Katherine, Damon snapped "How do you know so much about hexes, anyway? I bet you're just trying to bait us like the manipulative psycho you are."
"No, she's right." A voice from the doorway said, and everyone turned to see Bonnie juggling three books in her arms, Elena behind her carrying one. Walking into the room and putting her books down, Bonnie took a good look at Ana, nodding solemnly "This is definitely a hex, and like Katherine said, hexes can only be broken by those of the same bloodline."
"That's a fat load of good, considering both Jonas and his son are dead." Ana deadpanned, rolling her eyes.
Bonnie shook her head, plopping one of the grimoires on the already crowded bed. "True, but if I remember correctly, Jonas has another daughter, Greta. He thinks that Klaus kidnapped her, therefore we need to defeat Klaus soon to get this Greta."
"Easier said than done." Stefan stated, turning to Elena and Bonnie and smiling at them, though it seemed rather forced. "You should probably go home. Me and Damon will have to figure out how to get a hold of this Greta and I'm sure Ana would like some peace."
"I may be blood-deprived, but I can still speak for myself, thanks." Ana glared at Stefan, and he chuckled lightly. Turning back to everyone in the room, Ana frowned. "Though some peace would be appreciated while I try and convince my body to love blood as much as I do."
Everyone nodded, and Elena approached Ana at the bed with a sad smile. "I hope you feel better soon, then."
Ana chuckled loudly, causing everyone to look at her with worry. When she noticed their looks she added "Ha, it's just that that's something you say to someone when they have a cold or something, and I found the irony funny. Come on, I haven't had a cold for over five-hundred years. I'm invincible. A little witch hex won't be the end of me... hopefully."

Strolling back into his bedroom, Damon's forehead creased at the state of Ana. Her skin was slowly starting to grey and dark circles were forming around her eyes. She was beginning to look less like a vampire and more like a ghost, and Damon didn't like it one bit.
Clearing his throat to alert Ana of his presence, Damon forced a smile and said "The Mystic Falls drama has started for the day."
"What now? Is me dying not dramatic enough?" Ana retorted, tapping the empty space on the bed beside her for Damon to sit.
After flinching at Ana's comment, Damon obliged. He said "Looks like Elena's mom and Alaric's ex-wife has entered town. She has contacts with Klaus so Elena and Stefan will probably try to do some digging. As for me... I'm heading to Jonas' flat with Bonnie to see if we can find anything about this hex or any spells that might combat us against Klaus. The sooner we sort this original out, the better."
Sitting up in bed, Ana smirked. "Well, looks like duty calls."
Watching Ana get herself up from bed, Damon put his hands on her shoulder and frowned. "Woah, woah, woah. Since when were you well enough to go flat hunting? No, you need to stay here and rest up."
Shaking her head, Ana maneuvered out of Damon's grip and stated "If I spend another minute in that bed I'm really going to think I'm dying. This way, I can make my last moments memorable. Chin up, Damon, we have some hexes to research."
Damon just shook his head as he watched Ana disappear into the bathroom with a bundle of clothes. She really was a stubborn one, wasn't she?
