"I swear, if I walk through one more cobweb-"
"Shut up, Ana, I'm trying to focus."
Walking through the dark corridors leading away from the old Lockwood cellar, Katherine walked ahead with a torch in her hand, squinting to see what was in front of her. Unlike her concentrated sister, Ana had her arms wrapped around her body, cautiously ducking around every corner in fear of spiders. Yes, that's right, spiders.
Huffing audibly, Ana was able to hold her tongue for less than a second, before adding "I just don't like spiders, alright? They have these long, spindly legs and have you seen how fast they move?!"
"You're a vampire, you should be over this stuff by now." Katherine snapped, rolling her eyes at her younger sister's attitude.
"Just because I drink blood and will, hopefully, live forever it does not mean I'm ready to make peace with spiders. They're evil creatures and the amount of times they've made me jump..." Ana frowned at the thought, shivering.
Before Ana could evaluate on her fears, Katherine put an arm out and a finger to her sister's mouth to shush her, something that Ana didn't like. Noticing her sister's curious gaze, Katherine spread the torch around the room, the glimpses of light spots revealing towering filing cabinets that seemed to stretch on for miles. They had arrived.
"Okay, so there are a lot of cabinets here." Ana stated, walking through the darkness down the aisles and letting her hand run across the metal draws. "How do you even know which one records the history of werewolves?"
"Short answer: I don't. Long answer: I will know where it is, once I search every draw and folder in here." Katherine answered, her attitude too chill for someone who was willing to search over a hundred different cabinets.

A cynical look plastered on her face, Ana crossed her arms. "Good luck with that."
"I won't be needing luck." Katherine muttered, hoisting the torch onto a wall and turning back to her younger sister with a smirk. "I've got Bonnie Bennett."
"Hang on, what? Bonnie Bennett hates you."
Nodding happily, Katherine replied "I know. Luckily, I was able to cash in a favour."
"A favour?" Ana asked again, raising an eyebrow.
Looking around the room, Katherine seemed bored, brushing dust from cabinets and peeping inside. "Yes. I saved the little witch's life, so she promised to perform a quick spell for me. Eye for an eye, after all."
"Let's just get this over with."
Behind both girls, Bonnie appeared, a torch in her hand as well as she glanced around the dark expanse of cabinets. Her dark hair was slightly curled and her lips parted, but her eyes didn't match her soft features, with a sharp look in them. It was clear that she didn't like the Petrova siblings.
"You're late." Katherine stated, looking at her nails with a brief distaste.
Narrowing her eyes, Bonnie replied "I didn't realise there was a time limit. Look, I'm doing you a favour here, I could just as easily pull out."
"And I could just as easily go and hunt down all your little friends. We wouldn't want that now, would we?" Katherine taunted, her eyes flashing.
Ana watched the encounter with brief amusement, smiling at Bonnie with contempt. "You're the Bennett witch, right?"
Bonnie just nodded, clearly not wanting to get to know the youngest Petrova, which Ana honestly couldn't blame her for. Ana meant danger, and Bonnie was trying to steer clear of just that. "Can I ask why you need to search Mystic Falls records for werewolf history? If this involves Klaus or something-"

"Don't worry, it doesn't." Ana replied, giving the witch a polite smile. Gesturing to the many, many cabinets of files, the Petrova added "Uh, is there anything you need for you spell?"
Shaking her head, Bonnie said "I just need a hell of a lotta candles, and I brought them with me. The only thing you both require is patience, because a locator spell is easy on a map, but not the easiest spell to perform when using physical objects and information."
"I can be patient, I don't know about my sister." Ana smirked at Katherine, leaning against one of the cabinets.
Katherine just frowned, watching Bonnie unpacking her candles with interest, but a flash of impatience already burning in her eyes. "Can you unpack your stuff any quicker? Jesus, you're like a sloth."
Huffing to quench the rising anger in her chest, Bonnie continued to unpack her stuff like before, shooting Katherine a dirty glare when the vampire wasn't looking.
Once everything was assembled, Ana furrowed her brows, tuning in her vampire hearing to see if she could identify the Latin that Bonnie was speaking. Despite her modesty, Ana had probably gotten a few degrees in her lifetime, choosing to do one on Latin because of her interest in witches and their spells.
At first, the whole room was quiet, exempt the quiet chanting of Bonnie's spell, until the candles began flaring. Blood dripped from the witch's nose, and the filing cabinets flew open with a WHOOSH. Sprinkles of dust scattered in the air, making Ana cough slightly. Once the spell was finished, all that was left was a single drawer of a filing cabinet left open. The drawer that would hold information on Ana's heritage.
Rising from the ground, Bonnie crossed her arms. "Our deal is done."
"Yes, little witch. You can scoot now." Katherine muttered, eyeing the drawer with keen interest.
With a brief huff, Bonnie gathered her things and, before leaving the records cellar, she swiftly added "And... don't tell Elena about this. I don't know what you're doing, but I can already tell you're both probably up to no good."
Once the Bennett witch was gone, Katherine turned to her younger sister with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "So... are you willing to do the honours, or should I?"
