"I know you're out there." Jules' voice rang out into the dark forest, and Damon signalled to Ana to stay behind and be careful. A single werewolf bite could kill any vampire, after all.
While Damon and Ana stayed concealed behind the shadows, Stefan emerged, clutching Tyler Lockwood in his grasp. "Where's Caroline?"
"Locked up tight." Jules replied swiftly, her arms crossed and her expression unimpressed.
Pulling Tyler behind him, Stefan stated "Let her go and I'll release Tyler. it doesn't have to get any messier than it already has. I'm not your enemy, Jules."
"It's a little late to be waving a white flag, don't you think?" Jules mused, raising an eyebrow at the vampire.
Ana sped forward, emerging from the shadows and glaring at Jules. "I'm sorry, you think we're surrendering? No, honey, we won't be leaving."
Stefan rolled his eyes, gesturing to Ana and adding "You need to leave town. No one else has to get hurt."
"I'm not leaving without Tyler." Jules stated possessively, shifting her gaze on Tyler to check that he was okay and that he hadn't been injured.
"Tyler's free to make his own decisions." Stefan replied, ever the mediator in situations like this. "As soon as you release Caroline."
Checking behind to see what Damon was doing, Ana smirked when she saw her partner-in-crime step out of the darkness. "My brother the peacemaker. Since Stefan got here before me, I'm gonna let him try it his way before I resort to mine and Ana's way, which is a little bloodier. So give us Caroline."
"Let go of Tyler." Jules snapped, and Ana could already tell that this was going to be a battle, no matter which way they did it.
"Hmm, let me think..." Ana stroked her chin, quickly shifting her attention back to Jules with a grin. "How about no. There's no full moon tonight. I mean, your chances are lesser than my future."

"We'll take you." Damon backed up, narrowing his eyes at the werewolf.
Jules merely chuckled, replying "I'm not so sure about that, tough guy." She whistled, and from the trees countless werewolves emerged, surrounding the three vampires and Tyler.
"You do realise that I could kill all of you and still make it back in time to finish 'The Breakfast Club', right?" Ana laughed, gazing around at the werewolves and waving cheekily.
Damon laughed, but Ana could hear the nervousness beneath his tone. "Great movie, I might join you for that."
Only when Ana noticed the giant cannisters beside the werewolves did she begin to feel uneasy.
"Let's try this again." Jules stated, tilting her head at the vampires. "Give us Tyler."
Realising the extent of the situation they had gotten themselves into, Damon turned to Stefan, who was clutching Tyler, and commanded "You heard her. Go. Get over there."
With that, Tyler slowly walked over and stood behind Jules, his heart racing from the tension thick in the air.
"Which one of you killed Mason?" One of the surrounding werewolves asked, his tone dripping with anger.
Ana went in to confess to save Stefan and Damon, but Damon put his large hand over her mouth. "Uh, that'd be me."
"Boys, make sure that one suffers." The same werewolf called, and Ana shot Damon an annoyed glare, telling him to keep his mouth shut next time.
Damon only smiled, turning to his brother and 'girlfriend' and adding "We can take them."
"I don't know about that." Stefan replied, shaking his head at Damon's cocky attitude.
"Well, then..." Damon looked around, before speeding straight at Jules.
The woman wasn't stupid, as she jumped onto the building and backflipped off, speeding back over to where all of the werewolves had gathered.

"Well damn." Ana cursed, watching as the flamethrowers lit up, aimed right at the group of vampires. Yeah, this might be a little harder than they had anticipated. Just a little bit.
As the fight raged on, hearts got ripped out and werewolves fell to the ground, Ana watched as Tyler went scrambling into the caravan, hopefully to release Caroline so they could get the hell outta there.
Ana smirked as Stefan caught an arrow aimed at him and threw it back at the werewolf, killing him instantly. "Nice one, Stef."
But the moment was short-lived, as a werewolf stalked up behind Stefan and stabbed him in the back, immobilising him. Speeding over, Ana ripped out the werewolf's heart. She grinned, watching the werewolf drop to the ground, his body limp. However, Jules noticed Ana's agility, swiftly piercing a stake only inches from the vampire's heart.
Watching helplessly as Damon was about to be staked, Ana released a breath she didn't realise she was holding as the werewolf clutched a hand to his head, visibly in pain. Before Ana knew it, all the werewolves around them were collapsing on the floor, clutching their heads.
Letting out a hefty grunt as she pulled the stake from her back, Ana smiled at the witch emerging from the trees, his hands raised as he cast a spell over the werewolves.
His eyes trained on Stefan, Damon and Ana while they lifted from the ground. The witch explained "Elijah made a promise to Elena. I'm here to see it's upheld. You need to go."
The four vampires nodded, all gathering before the witch, all slightly disoriented with spots of blood over their clothes.
"Get out of here. Now." The witch commanded, watching the four vampires stumble from the woods and turning his attention to Tyler, stood in the shadows. "When your friends awaken, give them a message. They need to get the hell out of this town."
