"Hey Elena, you okay after yesterday?" Ana asked Elena, leaning over her counter.
After everything that happened yesterday with Katherine, Elena felt quite spooked, so Ana agreed to stay over the night, as long as the human had some blood with her. Being an early bird, Ana had woken up extra early to make her and Elena a cooked breakfast. Knowing that the human had a family, Ana also cooked some for everyone else.
Nodding, Elena replied "Sorry for making you stay over. Just- what Katherine said... was it true?"
"Honestly, most of it." Ana admitted, frowning at the doppelganger. "But she also exaggerates. There's always another way, Elena. Katherine was just selfish and didn't want the risk of something going wrong. You are not Katherine."
"Right." Elena said, chewing a mouthful of the food Ana cooked. "Wow, this omelette is really delicious."
Chuckling to herself, Ana said "Well, I did do fifteen cooking degrees, and became a chef during 1850s. Those were some good times..."
A loud knock at the interrupted the girl's conversation, and Elena stood up, saying "I'll get it."

"Remind me again why you invited the Salvatore brothers into your house?" Ana asked Elena, sat on the breakfast bar, munching on some of her omelette from earlier.
Elena laughed, replying "I thought it was a good idea, seeing as I'm in danger ninety percent of the time. Anyway, they saw Katherine in the tomb."
"Really?" Ana said, her interest instantly perking. "What did she say? More lies?"
Damon tilted his head, answering "Not exactly. She said that she'd give us the moonstone and leave Mystic Falls forever if we only let her out."
"You don't believe her, do you?" Elena asked, watching both brothers.

"No, of course not." Damon admitted, holding an orange in his hand. "We just want the moonstone."
Stefan added "According to Rose's friend Slater, there's a way to destroy the spell that Klaus wants to break."
"Are you sure? Sounds risky to me." Ana admitted, raising an eyebrow at the Salvatore brothers.
"Obviously we're sure." Damon rolled his eyes. "No spell, no doppelganger sacrifice. Ergo, Elena lives."
Skeptical, like Ana, Elena shrugged, asking "How do you destroy it?"
"By releasing it from the moonstone." Stefan told the pair of girls, leaning over the counter.
"How do you guys know this is gonna work?" Elena questioned, stepping forward and crossing her arms, similar to Katherine. Ana smiled at the brief similarity.
Shaking his head, Stefan answered "Don't let Ana put ideas in your head. We have a crafty witch on our side."
"You discussed it with Bonnie." Elena stated, evidently not pleased that both men had been going behind her back and conferring with her friends.
Ana tilted her head, saying "That's the little witch, right?"
Stefan nodded at Ana, before continuing "She agreed to anything she could to help us."
"It's Katherine who has the moonstone." Elena explained, frustration in her tone. "She's not going to give it to you."
"We're gonna get it from her." Stefan announced.
A deep chuckle vibrating through the vampire, Ana said "Do you know my sister? Good luck with that..."
"Well, what he means to say is that we will pry it from her cold, dead hand if we have to." Damon corrected, smirking at the centuries-old vampire perching on a barstool.
Placing his finger on the table towards Elena, Stefan told the doppelganger "Bonnie just needs to find a way to release the seal long enough for us to get in, get the moonstone, and get out in time for her to return it."

"Wow. I mean, it sound like you guys already have it all planned out." Elena confessed, sending an anxious glance towards Ana.
Damon nodded, replying "Yep. We're awesome."
"Except for one thing. I don't want you to do it." Elena pointed out, smiling as Ana stood, ready for the vampires to get antsy.
Stefan sent a look to Damon, saying "What are you talking about? Elena, we don't have a choice."
"What about Klaus?" Elena asked, and Ana nodded along with the girl, understanding her point of view.
"We'll find him, but after we get the moonstone." Stefan reassured, his eyebrows furrowed in concern.
Pursing her lips, Elena asked "Is that before or after he kills everyone that I care about, including the two of you?"
"She has a point, y'know?" Ana nodded, crossing her arms as she faced the two other vampires in the room. "Niklaus will not be pleased if you destroy his only chance at breaking this werewolf curse."
Huffing audibly, Stefan said "Yes, but if we can de-spell the moonstone, we can save Elena's life. I think that's more important than if some original is pleased."
"I know. Everyone keeps saying that." Elena muttered, standing from the table and walking away from the conversation.
"Yeah... I think I'll handle this one." Ana rolled her eyes, standing from the table and gesturing at the Salvatore brothers to leave. "Goodbye, boys. See ya next time."
Damon stood with his mouth hanging open as he watched the youngest Petrova sister strut away, her hips shimmying as she did so.

"And you're sure you wanna do this?" Ana asked her friend, one arm leaning against the Salvatore Boarding house. "It's a big leap of independence."
Elena rolled her eyes, opening the door and stepping in first "I'm not a child, I've been warned countless times about the infamous Klaus Mikaelson, Ana. I can handle him."
Snorting, Ana quietened as Rose's voice rang throughout the mansion "It's not nice to leave a girl naked so early in the morning. You-" The vampire cut off, seeing Ana and Elena stood in the hallway, watching Rose tie her silk nightgown.
"Good morning to you, too." Ana remarked sarcastically, not bothering to shield her eyes from the half-naked Rose. Elena, however, shielded her eyes and stared at Rose in shock.
"Sorry, I thought you were..." Rose trailed off, the person seemingly obvious, since she had confessed to both girls how she preferred bad boys, and Stefan wasn't exactly a villain.
Not looking Rose in the eye, Elena stuttered "I, uh, sorry, I..."
"There's no one else here." Rose explained, gesturing to the rest of the house.
Exhaling, Ana replied "Thank God for that, too. I hope this isn't an ordinary habit-"
"Anyway..." Elena interrupted, changing the topic before the Petrova sibling said something that would get her into trouble. "We- I came to talk to you."
Rose nodded, gesturing to the silk nightgown covering her skin "Then I should probably get dressed."
Nodding, Elena turned her head until the vampire had left the hallway. Ana, however, seemed perfectly comfortable with seeing a naked woman stroll around the house.
