Arielle's pov

I wake up felling tired. Yesterday's night was hectic. It was my step sister's birthday and it was the most disgusting thing ever. Drunk teenagers and hot make out sessions. I still don't know if it was a birthday party or some wild get together. Rose, my step sister was expectedly disgusting. Not only did she treat me like thrash in front of her friends, she also ordered me around like I was some sort of slave which also included throwing dirty insults at me. Ever since my mom died and my dad married Rose's mom, my life had been nothing but hell. Yesterday night, step mom said they were finally getting rid of me today. Yes yes, they were probably drunk but this time, It felt real but maybe I'm just over thinking it, they've told me that millions of times though. Huh...why are ther so many buts in this matter. Let me take a shower. I definitely smell like shit and don't get me started on what I look like. I stood up and did my morning routine and did my make up. I wore a black top and denim shorts. I straightened my hair and put it in a pony tail. I lay down on my bed and brought out my phone. I decided to go through my Facebook when I heard a car pullover in front of my house. It was only 7:43am and I didn't expect anyone to be visiting at this time. I looked closer and I saw a man coming out of a mustang car. He looked young, probably in his early 20's. He wore a black suit and he had dirty blonde hair. Two other men came out with him. I'm guessing they are his body guards. He knocked on the door and I think my mum opened. After 5 minutes of quiet talk, I heard my step mom call me

"Arielle!"

I picked up my phone and earpiece and ran down the stairs. What I saw glued my feet to the ground. The man is more handsome up close, but something is off about him. His eyes are red. Why on earth will someone wear red contacts?

"Arielle " step mom signals me to come forward

"yes mom"

"this is Mr caden and caden, this is my step daughter Arielle"she introduced

"

hi"I said and gave a little wave. Caden smiled and said "Mrs, is she aware of this deal?"

"what deal?" I asked

"no, she isn't. "she said to Mr caden "will she be needing any of her personal items, clothes, jewelry..... "

"no"he interrupted"she's okay like this, though I would have preferred her with no clothes " he winked and Rose chuckled

"wait wait wait...what is going on? "I asked

"nothing much "Rose said "we're just selling you off to Mr caden"

I laughed and said "Rose that is a very funy joke"

"lucky for us, it isn't a joke "step mom said

"but......"I turned and looked at my dad "dad...."

"what?! "he asked harshly

I moved back and said "no.. I'm not going anywhere "

"uh..can't you do anything without making so much noise? "Rose asked

"and you really don't have a choice in this matter "step mom said

"I said I'm not going anywhere "I shouted

"huh.."caden. Sighed "I guess I have to do this the hard way " he signalled to the two body guards and they came at me. Their eyes were also red. It made me wonder if that was the new fashion. I was so distracted, I didn't know when one of them handcuffed me and the other one carried me over his shoulder.

I kicked and said "no, put me down! "

Caden smiled at my mom and dad and gave them a cheque they collected it qnd caden said "we'll be leaving now "

We left and they put me inside the car. Caden sat down next to me and the guards sat in front.

"where are you taking me to? "I asked"what are you gonna do to me?"

"relax"he replied "I'm only selling you. I'm taking you to the auction "

"you're joking right. Slavery was abolished a long time ago "

He smiled and said "for humans, yes,but it's still allowed for vampires "

"vamp.... "

He cut me short and said "you ask too many questions "he brought out a needle like thingy and injected it into my leg. I screamed and then I passed out
