《Sophie Swan: P.L》Chapter thirty nine:

It was the battle day.
Today decides the fate of everyone involved. Whether only one dies or all.
All of the vampires, including myself and Renesmee walked onto the snow-covered field awaiting the presence of the Volturi and their Guard. The wolves held back to not seem like a threat at first, however, we would be reunited as soon as the Volturi appears.
"If we live through this, I'll follow you anywhere, woman."
"Now you tell me." I smiled at the newly found mates.
Let us hope that they can spend some more time with each other before they see their last sight.
Before we knew it the enemy was here. They walked from the other side of the forest to the clearing. The tension and anxiousness of every one were thick in the air.
We all watched as the Guard and the Volturi walked in hundreds toward our rough estimate of 26 vampires.
The wolves howled and soon made their way to us. Paul went straight to my side and Jacob straight to Renesmee, the others spread throughout the vampire numbers. The Volturi stopped walking and lifted their hoods from their faces.
Carlisle walked ahead a few metres so the Volturi could hear him loud and clear.
"Aro, let us discuss things how we used to, in a civilised manner."
"Fair words, Carlisle. But little out of place, given the battalion, you assembled against us."
"I can promise you that was never my intent. No laws have been broken."
"We see the child. Do not treat us as fools!"
"She is not an immortal! These witnesses can attest to that. You can look. See the flush of human blood in her cheeks."
"Artifice!"
"I will collect every facet of the truth, but from someone more central to the story. Edward, as the child clings to your newborn mate I assume you are. involved. I'd like to meet her."
Aro states after having Edward walk all that way and reading Edward's mind.
'I don't trust this.' Jake said as Renesmee, Bella and himself walked toward Edward and the Volturi. They turn back and Emmett comes along with them, Rosalie comes and stands next to me and Paul and I hold onto her hand and she watches her mate walk possibly to his death.
"Ah, young Bella. Immortality becomes you. I hear her strange heart."
Renesmee walks forward for Aro to read her thoughts. "Hello, Aro." Renesmee ignores his outstretched hand and instead uses her own gift and holds her hand up and touches his face.

"Magnifico. Half mortal, half immortal, conceived and carried by this newborn while she was still human."
"Impossible."
"Do you think they've fooled me, brother?" My sister and the others walk back toward us, safely as Irina is brought forward, the Volturi Guard step forward also, staying in line with Irina.
"Bring the informer forward. Is that the child you saw?"
"I'm not sure."
"Jane."
"She has changed. This child is bigger."
"Then your allegations were false."
"The Cullens are innocent. I take full responsibility for my mistake. I'm sorry." Irina apologises while looking at us.
"Caius, no!" The blonde king nodded to his guards and they lit a torch while they ripped Irina to pieces and set her body on fire.
The Denali sisters started running toward the Volturi ready to start a fight, but I put out my hand lifting them into midair, stopping them from going anywhere.
"Put me down."
"Tanya, this is what they want. If you attack now, we'll all die." Edward says as he walks over to them. They finally calm down and I release my hold on them, placing them back down on the ground.
Edward tries to walk toward his wife and child, however, Aro commands Jane to use her gift.
"Pain." Edward dropped to the floor in pain, I watched as Bella used her newly founded gift to help support Edward through his pain to make it more tolerable. This made the Volturi stumped.
"Aro, you see there is no law broken here."
"Agreed. But does it then follow that there is no danger? For the first time in our history, humans pose a threat to our kind. Their modern technology has given birth to weapons that could destroy us. Maintaining our secret has never been more imperative. in such perilous times, only the known is safe. Only the known is tolerable. And we know nothing of what this child will become. Can we live with such uncertainty? Spare ourselves a fight today only to die tomorrow."
"The child will cause no harm Aro," I said stepping forward.
'What are you doing?" Paul asks angrily that I spoke up. I ignored him.
"Ah, Sophie, we haven't heard from you in a while. Although you are different now, hm. What is this, three small heartbeats, remarkable how, even with your gift you can still bear children in this form. How are we to know that your children will not bare a threat?"

"You will find out in one moment, but I can assure you that there will be no threat, not from my children nor Renesmee nor from anyone else of their kind."
I heard footsteps in the distance and internally sighed a relief, I knew she would be here soon. Alice walked over to the Volturi with Jasper, they were stopped and held in place by a few guards.
"Ah, Alice. My dear, dear Alice, we're so glad to see you here after all."
"I have evidence the child won't be a risk to our kind. Let me show you."
"Brother?"
Alice walks over to Aro and hands over her hand.
"Ah."
Alice shows Aro her vision of how this will turn out if there was a fight, leaving Aro to worriedly look around.
"Now you know. That's your future. Unless you decide on another course."
"We cannot alter our course. The child still poses a grave threat."
"But what if you were sure she could remain concealed from the human world? Could we leave in peace?"
"Of course. But that cannot be known."
"Actually blondie it can," I say as a matter of factly with a smirk. The Volturi look at me and I wink playfully to Alec and Jane. Who gives me a small smile back.
Two pairs of footsteps made their way over toward us, I didn't turn to look as I knew they were the evidence we needed to convince the Volturi there was no danger.
The two people stood just a few feet away from Alice as she spoke. "I've been searching for witnesses of my own among the Ticuna tribes of Brazil."
"We have enough witnesses."
"Let him speak, brother."
"I am half human, half vampire. Like the child. A vampire seduced my mother, who died giving birth to me. My aunt Huilen raised me as her own. I made her immortal."
"How old are you?" Bella stepped forward and asked.
"150 years."
"At what age did you reach maturity?"
"I became full grown seven years after my birth. I have not changed since then."
"And your diet?"
"Blood, human food. I can survive on either."
"These children are much like us."
"Regardless, the Cullen's have been consorting with werewolves, our natural enemies."
"Dear ones there is no danger here. We will not fight today."
After Aro announced that the Guard and the Volturi retreated and left the snowy field.
But of course, the two Dracula's had something to say about that.
"We have them on the run. Now is the time to attack!"
"Not today."
"You're all fools! The Vultori might be gone but they will never forgive what happened here."
'Let us kill the Dracula's they're doing my head in.'
'Not before I kill them first.'
'I am older I will get to kill them.'
Everyone turned to me as my three babies inside me spoke aloud. "Damn they are my kids." I laughed.
The others laughed with and the two vamps ran away while the rest of us walked back to the Cullen's house, the pack went back home, but I knew that they would stick around the Cullen family soon as I could feel my three pups moving around a lot more meaning they were ready to pop out and make their own adventures.
We got home and said goodbye to the witnesses and thanked them for their service. The Denali clan decided to stay after they heard that I was to give birth in a matter of two days now.
But before everyone left, we all bonded like one big family. They told us stories from their many years of being alive. Some even asked us questions.
"Sophie, what are you thinking about naming your children?"
"Well, we decided on semi-basic names, but the kids like them. First we have is Theo Dixon, Balin Monty and little Hope Zudora."
"Those are unique names to me."
"Yes, but somehow they fit my soon to be born kids. Paul and I have a feeling that we're going to have our hands full with these three."
"Are you nervous? Triplets are going to be a big job."
"A little, but I'm more excited than anything. I've got the perfect husband a nice and safe house for the kids, I had a perfect wedding and it was always a dream to have kids one day. That and they will have so many uncles and aunts as well as grandparents to give them to for babysitting incase it gets a little too much and Paul and I need a break."
"Hahaha, I am sure that they all will love that idea, bless their hearts. Well congratulations and good luck, it was very nice to be able to meet you but we should get going."
"It was lovely meeting everyone, the Cullen's have great friends. I doubt many of my own friends would have risked so much."
