《Sophie Swan: P.L》Chapter thirty six:

Speaking of my little niece, she isn't so little now. Her growth has been shooting up, we were all becoming worried at how long we would have left with her before she grows into a full-sized adult.
I spoke to Bella and she said that Edward thinks they may find answers in Brazil, she said something about how a few tribes might know something.
I got a call from Alice to come over to spend some time with Renesmee and the family. I thought it was a marvellous idea, Paul and I blipped ourselves into their living room and sat down.
"Tanya convinced Irina to come to reconcile with us," Carlisle said as he got off the phone.
"It looks like she changed her mind."
"Seeing Jacob must have been too much for her."
"I wish I could have just spoken to her."
"She's family. She'll come around." Paul and I looked confused, but before anyone can say anything.
Alice came into the room and dropped a vase. "What is it, Alice?"
"The Volturi. They're coming for us. Aro, Caius, Marcus, the Guard and Irina."
"What's going on?" Paul asked, but I got a clear image in my head of what happened.
"Irina saw Renesmee jumping up to catch a snowflake. She's debating whether or not to go to the Volturi, she thinks Renesmee is an immortal child." I say frowning at the end.
"What's an immortal child?"
"Immortal children were very beautiful. So enchanting. To be near them was to love them. But their development was frozen at the age they were turned. They couldn't be taught or restrained. A single tantrum could destroy an entire village. Humans heard about the devastation. Stories spread. The Volturi were forced to intervene. Since the children couldn't protect our secret, they had to be destroyed. Their creators got very attached and fought to protect them. Long-established covens were torn apart. Countless humans were slaughtered. Traditions, friends, even families lost."
"So, the Denali's mother made an immortal child?"
"Yes. And she paid the price."
"Well, Renesmee is nothing like those children. She was born, not bitten. She grows every single day."
"So can't you just explain that to the Volturi?"
"Aro has enough proof in Irina's thoughts."
"So we fight."
"Their offensive weapons are too powerful. No one can stand against Jane. Alec's even worse."
"Well, then we convince them."
"They're coming to kill us not to talk."
"No, you're right. They won't listen to us, but maybe others can convince them. Carlisle we have friends all around the world."
"I won't ask them to fight."
"Not fight. Witness. If enough people knew the truth, maybe we can convince the Volturi to listen."
"We can ask this from our friends." My stress levels were skyrocketing, all these emotions all at once. I could feel Jasper looking at me, then Edward.
After the meeting, Paul and I went back home to think everything over and to relax. "I should tell Sam."

"Yeah, just make sure he knows that it isn't a fight just for witnesses, but I fear that it may turn into a fight."
I turned away from him secretly touching my stomach, I could feel tears rushing down my cheeks.
"Hey, hey, Soph what's the matter?" I looked him in the eyes and brought his hands to my stomach.
"We're gonna be having pups." I gave him a small smile, waiting for his reaction.
He smiled so big you could see it from the moon, he laughed and picked me up twirling me around the room.
"Omg! This is great! I'M GONNA BE A DAD!" I laughed at him.
"Yes, I haven't told anyone, I only found out a couple of days ago."
"Wait, you said pups, does that mean..."
"Three."
"Three, omg. What if...?"
"Paul, it's ok, we'll be fine."
"You're not going to the witness thing, I want you far away safe, just in case it turns into a fight."
"Paul, I have to be there. Maybe my pregnancy can help convince the Volturi, I need to help my sister."
"I worry about you getting hurt enough as it is, and now that we have kids on the way, I just don't want you hurt."
"If trouble arises I will leave, I promise you. But I will not have you fighting, our kids won't have a dad then."
"You're right, I didn't have a dad growing up, so I want my kids to have one. So what do we do?"
"We wait and see what happens. Let's not tell anyone about the kids, I'll try and hide them as good as I can, I don't want people worrying more."
It turns out that, that night Alice and Jasper had left forks through La Push and gave Sam a note to pass onto the Cullens.
At first glance it felt like they were abandoning us, but, as my mind cleared up for me, they were going to find someone who is the same as my niece, to convince the Volturi that there are others out there in the world.
The Cullen's went all over the world to find people who would be a witness to our hybrid. My morning sickness has begun and my stomach has grown rather large. I'm afraid keeping our little secrets hidden will be impossible, so Paul and I decided to let our secret out.
"There are a lot of vampires in their home, are you sure we should do this in front of them?"
"I think everyone involved has a right to know."
"Paul!" We walked outside to find Sam."
"Sam, what's going on?"
"We need you since there are more vamps than usual, others are turning."
Paul looked at me, I nodded for him to go. "I'll tell the Cullen's myself, you go. I'll be fine."
"Okay, I'll come to you as soon as I'm done." With that my husband left in his wolf form to help the boys who have turned.

I turned into a vamp to conceal the heartbeats as much as possible. I was extremely nervous. I blipped myself into the living room, all eyes turned to me.
"Sophie, I didn't know you were coming over."
"Paul was meant to be here with me, but he is occupied at the moment. Was I interrupting?"
"Eleazer was just talking about the Volturi." I nodded and the Denali male continued.
"When Aro wants someone from a coven. It's not long before evidence turns up proving that coven committed some crime."
"So he's done this before?"
"It happens so rarely, I never realised it was a pattern."
"Apparently he always pardons one person whose thoughts he claims are repentant."
"This person always has an ability. And they're always given a place with the Guard."
"This is all about Alice. He has no one like her."
"Which is why she left."
"Why does he need witnesses?"
"To spread the word that justice has been served. After he slaughters an entire coven."
A man and his wife began to walk away. "Benjamin, Tia we are leaving."
"And where will you go? What makes you think they'll be satisfied with Alice? What's to stop them from going after Benjamin next? Or Zafrina or Kate or Sophie or anyone else with a gift? Anyone they want. Their goal isn't punishment, it's power, it's acquisition. Carlisle might not ask you to fight, but I will for the sake of my family, but also for yours. And for the way you want to live."
Jake stood up. "The packs will fight. We've never been afraid of vampires."
I looked to the ground and suddenly became uncomfortable. "Sophie?"
"Paul wanted to be here to tell you this, but um we're going to have pups."
"You're pregnant?"
I transitioned back to my human form, the room could hear not only mine but of three children.
"I hear four heartbeats, you're having triplets." I looked at Carlisle and smiled.
"We would like to help convince the Volturi, but because of my gift, my babies will be tribrids instead of a hybrid like Renesmee."
"How can Paul let you join, what if you get hurt?"
I turned to Jake and smiled. "We have a plan, Jake don't worry."
"The dog is right, a fight is nowhere for a pregnant lady, you'll be too weak."
"Who invited the count Dracula's?" I said rolling my eyes.
"What did you just call me?" I looked at the two and they started to crack.
"Who are you to call me weak? Go crash into a tree and snap your arm off." As soon as I said that the two were thrown out the window causing it to smash and they pounded into a tree causing their arms were torn off.
"Sophie."
"Sorry, I didn't mean to smash the window." I waved my hand and the window put itself back together.
"Remarkable."
"With her on our side, we'll win."
"Soph, do you really think it's a good idea to come?" I look at my sister with a raised eyebrow.
"Please, after my last visit to the Volturi they love me, well maybe not the blonde king cause I kinda insulted him. Do you have any food I'm kinda hungry?" I asked as my stomach growled.
"She insulted the Volturi we are bound to end up dead."
A cup of blood appeared in mid-air.
"Ooh, thank you." I smiled and take the floating cup and start drinking."
"Why are you saying thank you, did you not do that yourself?"
"Oh, did I forget to mention that they have my gift as well?"
"We will fight." The Denali coven said while looking at me.
"This won't be the first time I fought a king's rule."
"We'll join you."
"No."
"I will do the right thing, Amun. You may do as you please."
"We will stand with you."
"So will we."
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that. Sophie is there anything you can tell us about what's going to happen?"
I pondered for a moment and saw Alice's face, which made me smile, but Alice's words to me let my smile fade.
"I'm sorry Carlisle, Alice doesn't wish for me to tell you."
"We'll see." The last man said, before walking off upstairs.
"He seems fun." I say causing Esme to nudge me.
Rosalie soon came up to me and hugged me and touched my belly. "How long until you give birth."
"It should be after the Volturi. Hey, can I speak to you about something, Emmett to?"
"Of course." Emmett came over and I blipped us away from the house.
"Well I was thinking and I would like to try something, if that's okay?"
"Using us as lab rats, real cool Soph."
"Well if it works then you'll be thanking me tough guy."
"What is it?"
"Just trust me."
"Fine."
"Yeah, fine."
I concenstrated really hard and thought of the two in front of me as human. Rosalie always wanted to get pregnant, so why not give her that option.
They slowly changed features, and I could feel my kids helping me as well. After 5 mintues we managed to transform them into human.
They looked at each other and took each toehr in. "We're, but how?"
"How do I transform into human myself, through my gift, now if you want you could have uour kid."
"Whats with the numbers?"
"Oh, that's how long you have left until you turn back into a vamp."
"So it's not permanent?"
"I'm afriad not."
"I don't care, thank you Sophie, really thank you."
I thought really hard again and transformed them back into vampires. I heard clapping behind me and murmur, a few vamps from the house were watching, including the two that I flung into a tree.
"You really have quite some power."
"Thank you. So who's weak now?"
I spoke to the creepy Dracula's.
"We could see what you're capabale of?" They stepped forward when we heard growling from behind us.
"Hi, Paulie." Paul's wolf form came up to me and growled at the two vamps that went for me. He sniffed my belly and nudged it with his face.
'Did you tell them?'
"Yes, they know."
'Good.'

Vendor of Spirits
A warlock once made a pact with the Powers Above. He snuck in a clause that resurrected him whenever he died, with all his memories intact. He lived for thousands of years in a hundred different bodies, changing the world into a dystopian regime where he could freely pursue his passions: alcohol, television and ducks. This made the Powers Above very angry, so they erased his memories and reincarnated him as a simple barmaid in a sleepy village where she could do no harm. I don’t know any of this, of course. The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
