《Sophie Swan: P.L》Chapter thirty four:

Today is Emily and Sam's special day. I went round to Emily's house to set up with Sue and Leah, I walked into the kitchen of the home to find Emily doing some finishing touches to her cake.
"Wow."
"Hey, Soph what do you think?"
"It looks so good, I bet the boys will be dying to tare into that."
"Well, hopefully, they don't make too much of a mess."
I laughed at that. "So, where's Leah? She said she'd show me where everything is going."
"Leah and Sue are down by the side of the house getting all the chairs out of the boxes."
"Cool, I'll see you later, unless you need help in here."
"No, I should be good for now, I'll call if I need anything."
"Okay."
I walked out of the house and down the side of the home, to find mother and daughter getting chairs out of boxes and piling them ready to place side by side on the alter.
"Hey, Sophie, did you wanna grab that pile there and we'll get started on placing them by the aisle?"
"Yeah." I picked up the small pile of folded chairs and followed Sue and Leah to where the wedding will commence.
It took around half an hour to set up all the chairs, the next job was to decorate. We had a few boxes filled with fairy lights, candles, streamers etc. We made sure that the setting was perfect for Emily and Sam and by the time we were done the backyard looked magical.
Guests were meant to arrive in around five hours, so that gave us plenty of time for Leah and me to do some finishing touches and set up tables while Sue got Emily ready.

We walked into the home, grabbed the cake, placed it on the table carefully, and cleared the kitchen, ready for the reception food and drinks to be displayed. Emily and Sue had gone upstairs to get ready, while Leah and I went to her house to get ready before making our way back to greet guests. The wedding was for a small number of guests, mainly the pack, the tribe council and their family, and my dad, who was Sue's date. I'm really happy for them, my dad deserves to be happy.
Everyone took their places on either side of the alter, Paul and I sat next to each other, he was wearing a tux that made his muscles pop, he looked gorgeous. The priest came and stood at the front and soon came Sam in his tux, a few moments later Emily came walking down the aisle with a mid-length dress that flows behind her, her hair was slightly curled, but down with a headpiece keeping it in line. Emily and Sam met at the end of the alter and the ceremony began.
After the ceremony, everyone began to chat and eat cake while Emily went back into the kitchen and cooked the rest of the food. We wanted to give her a break from being stuck in the kitchen, but she didn't mind. It wasn't like she was missing out on conversation as a lot of us were in the living room and dining area talking to her. With a few taste tests here and there.
I cannot wait for my own wedding. Which is in two weeks after Sam and Emily's wedding.
They decided not to go anywhere for their honeymoon as they were planning on having kids within the next year or so, so they wanted to fix up the house and work to earn as much money as they can to save for this child/children.
